“A Texan for Christmas” is the fourth and final book of Jules Bennett’s The Rancher’s Heirs miniseries. The other books include—“Twin Secrets”, “Claimed by the Rancher”, and “Taming the Texan”.

Hollywood star Beau Elliott is back at Pebblebrook Ranch, his childhood home, with his five-month-old daughter, trying to mend fences with his brothers and figure out what is next in his life. Not to mention he also needs a new nanny.
Scarlett Patterson has been a nanny for years and working for Beau will be her last job. Having gone through a life-altering experience, she doesn’t think being a nanny is the best thing for her anymore.

Beau and Scarlett’s attraction is immediate, though they don’t act on it right away since Scarlett isn’t staying and Beau’s focus is on his daughter. When they do give in, it’s more than what either expected to feel—emotionally and physically.

“A Texan for Christmas” brings a family together and reminds us family is what makes the holiday more meaningful.

This was Hallmark with spice. The h is a black woman but you would almost never know it. All references to her skin color is “dark” until about 65% mark describes her as having mocha skin. It may just be me but if the story is BWWM then she should have details that lets it be known. Race was not an issue which was a good thing. My problem with the book was the “I must resist my boss” that lasted 2 days. Relationships with the other characters could of been fleshed out better. Besides that, the story is well written.

Have a 3.5? It’s hard to rate when they’re shorter books. I liked the storyline a lot. It was giving chestnut springs with the plots. I liked the characters too. I would’ve given it 4 stars, but the ending felt so incredibly rushed

A love story about Beau Elliot a Hollywood actor and a nanny Scarlett Patterson who are looking for fresh starts. Beau wants out of the Hollywood scene and Scarlett wanting out of the nanny business due to a heartbreaking secret. It reminded me of one of those hallmark Christmas movies that pull at your heart strings. It was a very good book and I’m glad I picked it up.

Scarlett Patterson is looking to venture out on her own after life changing surgery alters every dream she has ever had. She didn’t expect to take one more job for the Nanny company she had been working for. This one last job before she heads to Dallas to start her newest chapter has just one little hiccup, a movie star Dad.

Beau Elliott ran away from Hollywood to raise his daughter somewhere special, his home, Pebblebrook Ranch. He doesn’t want his daughter growing up in a place where people are lacking the core values that were instilled in him from an early age. While Hollywood made his rich and famous he isn’t much better for it. When his nanny has a family emergency and has to leave his employ temporarily, the agency sends another. While he was expecting Mrs. Doubtfire but he got a sexy centerfold instead. How is he going to be able to keep his mind on raising his daughter while Scarlett is occupying his every thought.

Beau and Scarlett embark on a love affair that is almost too good to be true. She is looking for a no strings attached relationship and while that is how he normally operates, Beau finds himself longing for more with Scarlett. Will he be able to convince both her and himself that his is more than just a quick hook up?

Another great read from this line, a couple small errors left me only able to give 4 ½ stars. I haven’t read stories from the other brothers in this family, yet. I plan to rectify that immediately. I received an advance copy of this novel without expectation for review. Any and all opinions expressed are my own.

A Texan for Christmas is Jules Bennett’s contribution to Harlequin Desire’s Billionaires and Babies series. This is also the fourth book in her Rancher’s Heirs series. I’ve read the first three books in the series, loving each of them. To be honest, I couldn’t wait for Beau’s story. He’d pretty much walked away from his family for Hollywood, rarely returning to the ranch that was once an important part of his life.

He returned home right before the holidays with his infant daughter, Madelyn. Hollywood had become too much for him and he was looking to relocate from the city and make a home where Madelyn could grow up without the traps of Hollywood.

Scarlett was running from her life and the job she loved. After the holiday’s she was relocating to take on a new career but decided to fulfill one last assignment as a nanny.

As both Beau and Scarlett deal with their pasts and futures little Madelyn captures her heart. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that there is instant attraction between Beau and Scarlett.

Can Scarlett come to gripes with her past and her hopes for the future? Will Beau realize how important his family is?

A Texan for Christmas is the perfect holiday read. It’s filled with hope, love and most of all family. I highly recommend reading it along with the other three books in the series.

I received an advance copy of the A Texan for Christmas which I chose to voluntarily read and review. This is my honest opinion.

Beau Elliott is the brother who left home for Hollywood. He was enjoying himself and finding success when the relationship with the women he as seeing fell apart and he was left with his new born baby to care for. He decided it was time to go home to family. Unfortunately that family is not quite ready to welcome him with open arms yet. Scarlett Patterson has been a nanny for years. After a life hanging event makes it impossible to have children of her own she's decided that her nanny days are over. It's just to hard. Her last job is a three week fill in for another nanny. That fill in job just happens to be Beau Elliott. I loved these to together. Beau is not all what he first appears and his daughter always comes first. Not only does he have to decide if he's going back to Hollywood or not he also needs to make amends with his family. Scarlett is dealing with the changes in her life along with her attraction to Beau. The story just flows from page one. This is not a overly long book so things happens fairly quickly but still feel like a well paced story. This is part of a series but can be read as a stand alone story.

This book is part of the author’s Rancher’s Heirs series. If like me, you have not read the previous books, no need to worry. It is a stand alone and Ms. Bennett does an excellent job in giving the reader enough information about the characters of the previous stories, that you feel you already know them.
The story of actor and billionaire Beau Elliott and Scarlett Patterson, the substitute nanny, is touching, at times heartbreaking but in the end heartwarming.
These are two individuals who are filled with doubts about themselves and their futures, but are united by a sweet five month baby girl.
It’s also a story about family , past mistakes , doing what’s right, and finding love where you least expect it. Never doubt the miracles that Christmas can bring to help repair relationships, families, and the discovery of hope and love.
I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

This fantastic book by Jules Bennett in The Billionaires and Babies series grabs you from the very beginning and keeps you locked in to the end!

When experience nanny, Scarlett Patterson agreed for one final position before starting her new life, she certainly didn’t expect (or care for) her new broody, grouchy, hot boss, Beau Elliott. He was Hollywood’s Bad Boy…but he was also a single dad in a bind, to an adorable baby girl, Madelyn.

I LOVED this HEA Love Story!!! Jules Bennett does an amazing job describing the scenery, the characters, and creating an engulfing storyline! I love how this continuation of the Rancher’s Heirs series blends the characters from the previous stories...Colt, Nolan, Hayes, and their women and children! ;) I loved the Magic of Christmas written into this book! It is a really enjoyable Must-Read!

When the agency sends a sexy, curvier version of the nanny he expected, Hollywood actor Beau Elliott is less than enthused. Trying to repair his relationship with his brothers is tough enough without Scarlett and her distracting beauty.

On her way to a new life Scarlett takes on one last job: caring for Beau's daughter. Fighting away her emotions, she's resolved to be on her way right after Christmas. The fact that she feels at home with Beau is irrelevant.

This Christmas-themed book was a good read. The tension between the characters is immediate and its culmination is well-timed to emphasise the emotional aspects of Beau & Scarlett's new relationship.

If you love Christmas-y romances with lots of family & heart, you'll love this one.

I voluntarily read & reviewed an ARC of this book.

A few weeks is all it takes!

Scarlett has decided to move to Dallas and to stop being a nanny. But when her friend needs her to fill in for her due to an emergency, Scarlett can’t say no. And it’s only for a few weeks! She can move on right after Christmas!

Beau left Texas for Hollywood, but now he’s back, trying to fix his relationships with his family and take proper care of his adorable baby daughter Madelyn. When he finds out the replacement nanny is a curvy, sexy woman, he doesn’t know what to do!

The chemistry is hot! The more the two are around each other, the more they need the other. But, both need to overcome their pasts to move to their HEA!

I received an ARC copy of this book and am voluntarily reviewing it. All opinions expressed in this review are my own and given freely.

Love the Billionaires and Babies Series and was so happy that this month's was by Jules Bennett. She writes such wonderful love stories. This book is a page turner..You get to know the last Elliott, Beau and his little daughter that he has brought back home with him and you will meet the new nanny he has Scarlett. She has quit doing the Nanny part of her job but feels in for three weeks for a friend in the agency she works in...She is stunned when the door opens and there is Beau...She is charmed by him from the beginning but she won't let him get close...but the more they are around each other her defenses fall....A wonderful Christmas story to start the season...Oh and the cookie and frosting scene...WOOOOOOOOO :)

I love the Billionaires and Babies series and there is nothing more magical than a romance set at Christmas time. Beau is a famous actor who has come home with is adorable baby Madelyn. His regular nanny had a family emergency so Scarlett takes the job for 3 weeks. Their chemistry is hot. I love the little surprise he gave Scarlett and I loved the "special" Christmas tree they had. The sister-in-laws were so awesome to help in the end and I loved how Scarlett showed Beau she was ready to be with him forever. I LOVED everything about this book. I did not read the previous 3 books. You won't be lost but if you're like me you'll want to catch up. Jules really draws you in and gives you all you need in a romance AND gives you the magic of Christmas.

A Texan for Christmas is the 4th and final in the series but can be read as a stand alone novel. Christmas is a time for making peace and finding forgiveness which is the reason Beau has returned home. He is tired of his Hollywood lifestyle and has decided that he wants to raise his daughter among his family but first he must work on repairing the rifts in the relationships with his brothers. Scarlett is filling in temporarily for the nanny assigned to help Beau but has plans of moving on to a new career. As the sparks fly between Beau and Scarlett, both must come to terms with their past and embrace their future. A beautiful story to inspire the feelings of joy, love and holiday happiness.

Received a copy from the author but all thoughts and feelings are my own.

Scarlett needs to take this one final job as a Nanny before she uproots her life and moves to Dallas. However, she was not prepared for Beau. Hot Hollywood Texas Cowboy just caused her insides to flip upside down and add an adorable 5 month old little girl to the mix and she is done.
This is a sweet instant lust romance. Where both characters have to overcome their past to have a future.

It was great to see all the brothers from the previous Rancher's Heirs series. It was a great way to end this series. You do not have to read the previous stories to enjoy this one but it makes that much better.

This story is book #4 in Jules Bennett's Billionaire and Babies series and is a winner in my book! A Texan For Christmas is a story that deals with Beau Elliott's returning home and strained family relations, love for his baby, needing a nanny for his baby and the instant attraction and hot chemistry between Beau and Scarlett Patterson, the temporary nanny. Both Beau and Scarlett have baggage to deal with. I encourage you to read this story to find out how Beau and Scarlett reach their happily ever after, I am sure you will not be disappointed!
Wonderful read!

This is a story about picking up the pieces of your life and going on . For Beau it is actions from his past that he is moving on from . He was raised on a ranch and became a movie star . He has a daughter Madelyn he is now raising . He has a nanny named Scarlett for a few weeks before his original nanny returns to help him . Scarlett has to move on from the what has happened in her life .
I have not read the first books in this series and now want to go back and read about the brothers in the story since it was so beautifully written .

This was a cute story. Scarlet had a rough time (although I had to suspend my medical knowledge a bit) and she was giving up being a nanny after one last job. Beau was a Hollywood superstar that came home for Christmas and to try to mend fences with his family. He and Scarlet meet because she is the temporary nanny for his daughter Madelyn. This was a cute, quick read and I enjoyed it. It was nice seeing Beau's brother's and their significant others again. Good story and one I will likely reread.

The final chapter brings us Beau’s story as he returns from Hollywood to protect his daughter from that life and Scarlet becomes his nanny - one last job for her before she moves to Dallas and starts a new life.

The romance is sweet and I loved the way Beau was working to repair his relationships with his brother. A good ending to this series. The only thing missing for me was Scarlet spoke of her family, but we never really learn that backstory.

Thanks to the author for a review copy.

I love this series & I also love stories set at Christmastime. This story focuses on Beau's homecoming and his need to reconnect with his family as well as bringing his little girl with him. When he gets home he needs a nanny & hires Scarlet to watch his daughter. Scarlet plans on moving to Dallas & takes this nanny job as her last job before moving. However she connects with both father & daughter, something she hadn't counted on.

Such a great story.

Beau came home with his daughter to figure out what to do next. He wasn't figuring on a sexy temp nanny for his infant to stir something he didnt think he had in him anymore.

Scarlet is leaving the nanny business after this last job. She didn't bargain on falling for the dad.

Such a sweet story!

I’m such a sucker for all the Christmas themed books and movies.. I become all giddy when the Christmasy novels start hitting the shelves & the Hallmark movies start rolling out on TV. The fourth book in the Rancher’s Heirs series, Beau’s story, did not disappoint. This was the perfect read to kick off the holiday season, I seriously couldn’t put it down! I’D DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

Love a story about a sexy rancher/actor, a nanny and one adorable little girl. All Scarlett wants is to finish this job and move on. She finds it isn't always that simple when love strikes. Great story line, terrific characters, wonderfully talented author. Loved this book, a must read!

I usually LOVE Jules Bennett books, and this series has been wonderful, but for whatever reason, I just felt I was missing something with this book. I loved both Scarlett and Beau and their romance was wonderful, their chemistry hot! Maybe it was the limited back story that had me wishing there was more, not sure. But I'll definitely be looking for more Jules Bennett books in the future.

Nice ending to this series about the Elliott brothers. The last book brings us face to face with Brody the brother that left to make it big in Hollywood. He comes home with his infant daughter hoping to find support. It’s a bit edgy at first but soon the brothers rally and things come together.
