Supernatural Speed Dating by Ravyn Wilde is part of the Creatures of Myth Series and a Paranormal Romance.

Natasha is the 133 year old badass captain of GOTH (Guardians of True Humanity) but can't get out of attending the Supernatural Speed Dating event from hell that her mother and her white witch friend Andrea magically compelled, I mean persuaded, her to attend. Natasha had promised she would stay unless she met someone interesting and left with him, and knows she's going to regret making that promise. Natasha is 1/4 were-tiger, 1/4 nymph, and half deity, which makes her a very powerful paranomral. The speed dating event uses paranormal profiling to match the attendees and Natasha's matches are all horrible, starting with the creep who wanted her to play Little Red Riding Hood to his Big Bad Wolf, until the last match.

Dominic is a Chimera who was pressured into attending the Supernatural Speed Dating event by his best friend Raul. The friendship may have been going strong for close to 500 years, but thanks to Raul making him accompany him to this event, Dominic considers the friendship over. Dominic entertains very pleasant thoughts of meting out painful retaliation onto Raul as he suffers through another awful speed date. Bzzzz! Saved by the buzzer! Sadly, vengeance must wait until he suffers through one more speed date. Only the last speed date wasn't awful. She was a gorgeous redhead who made him laugh. And she didn't want to be at the speed dating event either, so she offers him a deal, an escape from the speed dating event if he swears to her friend that he can't live without her for the next 2 days. Done!

Natasha and Dominic immediately hit it off. Dominic had been bored out of his mind until the intriguing and captivating Natasha came along, not surprising considering he's about 3000 years old. And the feeling is mutual. Natasha really likes Dominic but what with GOTH being understaffed and new cases of murdered children coming in, she tries to break off her date with Dominic. Dominic isn't one to take no for an answer and jumps in to help where he can, without Natasha's knowledge. Supernatural Speed Dating is a funny, suspenseful and steamy story. Natasha and Dominic have a deep connection with off the charts chemistry and make a great team in and out of the bedroom. I highly recommend this book.

I so loved this book! The characters are so well thought out and are totally believable and realistic. I absolutely can not wait to get my hands on the next! Paranormals, humans, love, hate, good & bad. Triumph. Surprising twists and turns. Has a/an HEA.. It is NOT a cliffhanger!

Ever have of those books you can't put down, well read this book and you will not want to put it down. Excellent book! When I got the preview of it in the end of Magic and Myth, I could not wait to read it. I just finished the book and you have action, steamy romance and humor. Natalie meets Dominic and the fun/action begins. You have friends, family all involved. To learn what happens I will not spoil it but tell you to read and enjoy this book and feel a bit sorry for Roger, I did between the laughter!

This was my first book in the series and I absolutely loved it! So much humour to counter the grim back stories that leaves us following a dark mystery, shady dealings and betrayal - I was on the edge until the end! Fab! If you love that instant connection that leads to a VERY hot romance, mystery, action, drama, meddling family, and well, this book has it all ;) I was gifted a complimentary arc copy of this book and it was a totally satisfying read on all levels. I highly recommend it!

Absolutely loved this book! Steamy paranormal romance. Lots of intrigue and action. The heroine is ‘kick ass’ and Dominic is a book boyfriend to be fantasised about. Very witty and super easy to read.

The freaking title is "supernatural speed dating", and yet that takes less than a chapter of the book. It bothers me more than It probably should. Also, there is info-dumping in the worst posible moments...
During a fight, H arrives and immediately starts a mental monologue about the difference between demons and daemons, how the latter can leave hell, the process they go through in Purgatory, how they can be good or evil and how an evil one can deceive people in charge to let them out (because evil daemons souldn't come out of hell), and the implications of letting humans know demons really exist. The action completely stops while he rambles on about this for about four pages, interspersed with a couple action sentences, like "there was blood. Green. Most supernaturals had red blood, but demon blood was Green. Some fairies had blue bloood. They were called blue-bloods for a reason..." AARRGGHH! Couldn't this guy think of all that when we first meet his DAEMON BFF? Gosh!
The punctuation mistakes got me out of the story, whacked the rithm of the prose, and were a nuisance in general.

"Supernatural Speed Dating" is so much more than just a catchy title to this story. Ravyn Wilde is a creative genius! This story is what I can best describe as, "A Supernatural C.S.I. Style - Romantic Mystery". The characters in this book are a diverse group of entrancing supernaturals. Even some classics of olde, like Vlad (The Impaler), join the story. This is an intense romantic tale full of fate and fierce passion, as well as a crime mystery drama with a ton of thrilling and chilling magical mayhem. The book is well written, the characters are endearing and funny, the descriptions are fantastically inventive. This is an absolute must read book, for fans of Supernatural Romance, Crime Mystery Drama, Age-Gap Romance and Meet-Cutes. It's an addictive page-turner, that you'll be glad to have read.

A brand spanking new story that kept me enthralled from the beginning to end and had me begging for more!

Natasha “Tasha” Romanov should never have allowed her mother and friend to talk her into attending the Supernatural Speed Dating portion of the Annual Supernatural Summit (ASS for short, which is freaking funny!). Then her night looks up when Dominic “Dom” St. Ives sits at her table and accepts her desperate request for a drink away from the room. Luckily, Dominic is in the same situation as she is since he promised his friend that he would stay, so they are really helping each other. But the evening doesn’t end in the way either thought when Tasha needs to find her friend quickly and heads directly to GOTH (Guardians of True Humanity) headquarters.

Tasha has had bad luck with men in the past when they find out that she runs GOTH, but Dom is not afraid of her strength and dominance, he finds it sexy as hell. For him, a Chimera, having a strong woman by his side isn’t something that he worries about. And Tasha definitely has made an impression. Sexy and deadly are the two words that describe her and those two things definitely trip Dom’s trigger in a big way. The more time he spends with her makes him see that things are not all they are suppose to be within GOTH and the Council is burying its head in the sand if it things that GOTH is no longer needed to police and protect both the Supernatural community and the human one.

But the truth is never what it seems and the Council is now the least of the worries that Tasha and Dom will face in the coming days. Tasha has a mixed genetics that means powers will pop up unexpected and she will have to get help learning how to control them while navigating her dangerous job. The job grows even more dangerous when children come up missing and portals are opening with demons pouring out. The enemy is an unknown at this time, but Tasha will do everything she can to uncover this enemy and destroy it or them, and Dom will do whatever he can to protect Tasha from not only this enemy, but herself.

I had the pleasure of beta reading this story and was super excited as I continued to read the chapters. I have read all of the other books in this series and SUPERNATURAL SPEED DATING fits in so well. While GOTH was mentioned in the other books, readers really get a chance to learn more about it as well as what was going on with it. There are numerous different plots going on within the story and I am happy to say that I did not expect some of what came as I was reading. There are numerous different characters that are introduced throughout the story, and readers get a chance to catch up with characters from previous books (hell yeah to Vlad!!!). The story is skillfully crafted and engaged me from the beginning with strong characters, humorous scenes, and sinfully sizzling love scenes. Awesome addition to the Myth and Magic series!

Meh.

The premise was good, if somewhat tried-and-true. The writing was technically sloppy (although far from the worst I've ever seen): sentence fragments all over the place and grade-school punctuation. Random sex inserted just because, and unapologetic insta-love (as advertised in the blurb). At least Dom's high-speed emotional investment was explained a bit; Tasha's wasn't.

Despite being the 4th title in the series, this was definitely effective as a stand-alone (to the extent that it was effective at all). There's little world-building anyway, so no info dumps, and apparently very few of the characters carry over across the titles, so I didn't feel like I missed anything by having not read the first three. And that's a good thing, because I can't imagine why I'd bother.

I've followed this series up to this point and..

I've followed this series up to this point and have liked them all but this is the first one that has had a really good story. The other ones were ok but this one had some meat if you know what I mean. It wasn't all sex, although there was a bunch of that of course. I like a bunch of story with a little bit of sex but those are hard to find so I have to take what I can get. But I love para stories so and this series is a fun one if you like that kind of thing. If you don't like sex scenes don't read of skim like if they get too repetitive like I do.

Having read the 1st edition of this book I wanted to see the changes Ms. Wilde made to the book. To my delight I still laughed until I cried, gasped in horror, and found my heart pounding during the battles! The added proposal was timely and gave the right touch. I won't spoil it by saying where just that it was the right place. Other additions also enhanced the story. Although this book is a stand alone as are the other books in the series they should be read in order. There are some in jokes that the reader will understand better!

Love Makes the World Go ‘Round...

What a fabulous book! Replete with every paranormal imaginable including a bonafide badass princess heroine and more-than-worthy god-like suitor, the enormous cast of characters does not overwhelm a gripping storyline that holds the reader’s interest through a more than satisfying conclusion. Characters are well drawn and this alternate world is made plausible. Plenty of drama, humor and some lovely unusual graphic sex scenes relating to Dominic’s water-shifting abilities...
Don’t miss this wonderful story of fated mates!

Thoroughly enjoyable!

The main characters (Tasha & Dominic) are introduced & developed very nicely. The issues that they encounter (both in their personal lives and in their professional ones) are well-presented and understandable.

My only gripe is the use of the name of an existing & well-known "kick-ass heroine". Still, this doesn't alter the high-quality content of Ravyn's book and I'd definitely enjoyed it!

Wow, I just loved this book!

Always been a romance novel lover and lately I've ventured to the paranormal romance genre and I'm so glad I have.

The characters although subhuman are truly relatable and their struggles to have feet planted in two dimensions.

Her characters drawn you in to their story and you enjoy the ride.

This is a somewhat short and easy read and throughly enjoyable.

interesting start for me

Even as his was the first in the series for me to read, it didn’t feel that confusing as some are when you start reading in the middle of a series. There was plenty of background, the story was great and the amount of all types of action was amusing for sure, throw in some problems and mystery and it’s got all sorts of something for everyone.
