Soul mates collide. An evil lurks. Time to accept who she is before its too late.
Island herbalist, Ezra Ravenhart has lived with the rumors of her family's witchcraft her whole life. She'll admit, her grana's a little... eccentric, but not a witch. It isn’t until she finds herself love struck that she holds any truth to the accusations. All Ezra ever wanted was to feel the magic of love, but a man had yet to give her that mystical feeling. No man except handsome Owen Cooper, the big lying jerk from Chicago.
Owen is a struggling journalist trying to make a name for himself. When he hears about a real life witch living on Mango Cove Island, it may just be the story of a lifetime he’s after. The island can be a dangerous place for outsiders, so after Owen gets hurt, Ezra may be the only person that can heal him. Undercover as a ship-wrecked tourist, he finds that witch or not, Ezra has him under her spell.

Quick read full of surprises. A well-drawn exotic island made me feel as if I were there through every step of Ezra discovering her true identity and falling in love. A wonderful story of family, suspense, witchcraft, and romance that leaves the reader with a satisfying conclusion…and also wanting to read more about this family of witches and the island!
Naturally enchanted, Christy Newton's fantasy novel, is truly an amazing read. It brings a little historical fantasy brimming with witches, magic, romance and mystery. It's hard to put it down and beside that its a short read. Naturally enchanted starts off very slow. Don't let that stop you from continuing with the story though. The writing is easy and well done. That's not to say that it’s not gorgeous though because it definitely is.Christy Newton does have a style all her own though that readers will get used to quickly and come to love over the course of the book. The story itself is fascinating. I’ve always been a fan of stories about witches and Naturally Enchanted kind of remind me of one of Sandra Bullock movies and i just love her. Ezra isn’t your typical witch though. Since she doesn't even have a clue she is one until her soulmate is there and Grana decides to open up about the family secret. And they have very distinct abilities no t like the ordinary witches you are used to read bout. Even though they didn't show her powers the island people gossip about them. Sure, people were intimidated by them but they also sought them out as healers.
My reading list mostly contains very erotic book or dark erotic books and so I always enjoy getting stuck into a Ms Newton book because it is always refreshing to read a pure love story. Ms Newton doesn't write filth or smut, she writes about a pure love, nice characters that you can't help wanting the best for them.
Ms Newton writes with a very romantic flair. Her places are always well described so the reader is transported there, you really can taste the salt air and experience the sounds and smells.
Ezra was a lovely character. She was just so sweet and delightful that I couldn't help hoping that she would have a HEA.
I really felt for Owen as well. He grew up with a rich friend but Owen had to make his own money, nothing was handed to him on a plate. That made me think he's actually one of the good guys. His secrets were always going to come and bite him on the backside, but I hoped that he would be able to overcome them and if he revealed them, that he wouldn't lose what was precious to him.
All in all if you want a quirky romantic book, you would do well to pick this up and read it.
Christy Newton tells a 'feel good' story every single time she pens a book. She paints a beautiful scene with every stroke of her pen so that you are transported right into the story. I couldn't just picture the island, I could smell the herbs, lotions and potions from the shop.
Owen and Ezra have secrets. Owen has lied his way into Ezra's life and is conflicted about his deceit. Ezra has secrets of her own.
If you want a book that is beautifully written that leaves you with a warm fuzzy glow then I would recommend this book.
This wonderful Hallmark Movie Channel storyline with its band of enjoyable characters was a delightful adventure. Partial to strong women raised by their grandmothers, Ezra is a new favorite of mine, and I hope there will be a sequel surrounding the Mystic Herbs shop and the locals. This peaceful island community is invaded by two strangers who start out with innocent falsehoods and secrets that turn into dark, dangerous trials for Ezra and her grandmother. A perfect book to step out of the mundane and ordinary whether on vacation or snuggled up on the couch.
This story is a curious mix of fantasy and small town romance. 'Naturally Enchanted' is an interesting and original take on the popular supernatural themes, of soul mates and good versus evil.
Set on a tropical island. The atmospheric and vivid, sunny location contrasts beautifully with the story's darker supernatural elements. Charming witchy magic is subtly introduced, so the later fantasy revelations are easier to accept and visualise
Ezra has attitude and refuses to believe she possesses supernatural traits. Her relationship with her grandma is pivotal to the story and their strong family bond is realistic and heart-warming. Owen is not what he seems to be. Will the ambitious journalist really do anything for his career story, regardless of the collateral damage?
Something more powerful than mere physical attraction draws Ezra and Owen together. Enchantment and passion is inevitable. The love scenes are sensual but avoid the erotic undertones of many fantasy romance stories.
'Naturally Enchanted' is an exciting mix of legend, magic and romance, the perfect escape.
I received a copy of this book from the author in return for an honest review.
Magical!!!is the best description for this 5 star read. I love when an author creates outside their normal level of comfort. True talent can stretch boundaries. This one definitely demonstrates how creativity and ability will lay the foundation for something awesome. A romance journey of the sweetest and purest kind. Magical and fantasy elements intertwined to enhance this amazingly written storyline. Enjoy the extra help this relationship gets. Remember reality isn't always what it seems. Complete fondness and attachment to characters. Each one perfectly placed to bring this story to life. Then descriptive wording and details that help support the realistic feel. Literally can close your eyes and see/feel. It is impossible to say enough. Nothing seems to be enough. I will just say this is a must for all libraries. A superb read. All aspects exceed the standards of a great book. AndreaGAH ARC review
Ezra and her Granna own an herbal store on an island and the rumor is that they are witches. Owen is a struggling journalist needing a story, so he goes to the island to write a story about the "witches". Little does he know that there is more in store for him then just his story when he falls in love with Ezra and will have to choose between his love for her and his story. I loved Granna, she is so spunky. The relationship between Ezra and Owen is one of those sweet kind of romances. There is no cliffhanger, and it is a HEA book.
I never leave spoilers because I think it ruins it for other. But omg I love this book. I think it's crazy how she has been a witch her whole life I didn't even know it until her soul mate comes to the island. I love how she is very family oriented. She get her grandpa back and saves her grana. Plus keeps her soul mate save and her cat is just awesome. Also finding out her friend has magic also. Great book great read. Loves it all around.

What a great story line. Well thought out characters. An island I would love to visit. Christy made the sights and sounds come to life for me. I could smell the potions and lotions that Ezra concocted.
Owen lied his way into Ezra's life and heart. Along the way they fell in love but will they be able to hang onto the love they found? Pick up a copy, you will not be disappointed. A quick, interesting read that transports you to a magical world.
