This was a bittersweet ending for a fantastic series, imo. I have loved Thayne and Jarrett from the very beginning, and this just cemented it. Tbh, this was more of an ensemble novel than I was expecting, but I loved it! I loved getting to know Nic and Mac better, and it was great to see Sarah and Linc get their HFN too. I loved it for the Spencer Reid from Criminal Minds reference. However, the whole novel is based on Nic and Mac going undercover, and the whole plan was just doomed from the start. Honestly, the plan was just ridiculous and without adequate alternatives and escape plans. It's like they were planning on the UC agents to not make it out alive. I had to take off 1 star just for that lunacy. I would love a novel about Dayan Adael, who is the Mossad agent who has been popping up regularly. I think love would definitely knock him on his cocky ass!!😁 I love all these characters and I'm very sad to know it's the end. I hope we get some cameos in some future novels.

This was a smashing read. Out of all the books in the series this one was simply unputdownable! I loved it! There are so many reasons why! Apart from Thayne and Jarrett there are two more couples who get a bit of spotlight - Sarah and Lincoln and Nico and Mac! There are multiple POVs, many dangerous and edgy situations, plenty steamy encounters, so much love and friendship that make this book unforgettable for me.
I enjoyed the newness of budding relationship between Nico and Mac - all the uncertainty and second-guessing, the what ifs and the insatiable desire they had for each other. I loved the loyalty and bravery that both men displayed while undercover. I loved spending time with Thayne and Jarrett and experience their established routine and certainty in their feelings that comes with time that the two men have had together. But what I didn't expect was Adael Dayan who always turns out like a proverbial bad penny. I guess I had a bad opinion about him due to Thayne's dislike of the man but when push came to shove he was there, he was loyal and had Mac and Nico's back so I kind of liked him in the end.
This book was exciting, fast-paced, sweet and funny all at the same time. I really enjoyed reading it. I am glad that there is another one after this because I want more of the guys, ATF, FBI and all the danger and thrilling chase that come with them. My boys and girls are fighters through and through. I highly recommend it!

3.5 Stars. I have loved this entire series but I will be honest and say that this was my least favorite. The plots are always over the top but this one took that to extremes. There were so many things that made no sense.
This was more a book with several MC's - more of a group book then a final Thayne and Jarrett book. There were some great moments and I never get too much Thayne and Jarrett but it was a bit bittersweet considering the OTT plot.

I loved getting back to Jarrett and Thayne....and this time we get up close and personal with Mac and Nico...Oh boy Nico sure picked himself a hot guy, a really built hot guy....Beer can anyone ;) ......We get a lot of Thayne and Jarrett, a lot of Nico and Mac and some of Sarah and Dev....I was holding my breath when they were sent to the Max prison...I could have slapped Stanger and Diaz for that....Mac and Nico are the ones to go undercover in this one and we also get Adael again..(does he finally find himself a hot marine...other than Jarrett)....An amazing ending to the series and a series I know I will keep on reading x

This was unfortunately not what I hoped it would be .... for different reasons
First, I love Thayne and Jarrett and I am happy for them. But that was a bit too much sappy
Second, I was really looking forward to Mscs story and this was not satisfying for me. No real tension, no real relationship development and Mac seemed really unprofessional at times which is not consistent with his character
And third, the idea of the story was really good but how the story developed was kind of ridiculous at times. I am not one for whom the story has to be strictly realistic but here some decisions and developments where just ... strange

NO! NO! NO! You can’t end this awesome series with Jerrett and Thayne just getting to the point where they hit their stride! Endings and Beginnings is one action packed adventure after another and then let us not forget that the romance is off the charts! Mac and Nico deserve their own story with all of our friends that we have met in the ATF and FBI. Then right in the middle of death and destruction and all hell breaking lose Adael Dayan, the Mossad operative, who keeps popping up in the previous Death and Destruction stories just might find someone he can call his own, and take away the loneness. NO! NO! NO! I refuse to believe that Patricia will leave us hanging like that. Hell I just found out that Jerrett can fly a helicopter and I think that is beyond awesome. I love each of these super heroes and I refuse to believe that they can just go away because they are so much larger than life. I think that everyone needs to read the Death and Destruction series and then when you get to the last book in the series tell me that it should end! Dare YOU! This is beyond a 5 star rating so read it!

I so did not want to finish this book because I never wanted this series to end!
Thayne and Jarrett are back from their honeymoon, back at work and settled into their new home. All is pretty quiet until they, their fellow agents and their friends at the FBI are all called in on a case that is a little to close to home for Jarrett. Some mercenaries have taken things a little to far. They seem like they are working in conjunction with the US government as civilian contractors but it looks like they might have gotten involved with some pretty unscrupulous people in the Far East. Because Jarrett has worked with some of the operatives before, when he was a mercenary for hire, he and Thayne are in the background, not a place these two men are used to, and Mac and Nico have to go in undercover.
I am going to say right up front…I hope that this isn’t truly the end because I don’t think it is. Way too much was brought up in the epilogue for me to feel that it is truly over! I think too many new doors were left wide open and I need closure. Not only am I so connected with Thayne and Jarrett, but now Lincoln and Sarah and Mac and Nico too.
I do like that in these last couple books we got into the heads of more of the characters and it made each of them so much more real. I feel like I know and really like Lincoln, Sarah, Mac and Nico and are connected to them now too. But that is where the problem lies for me. I know and like these people and now want them to get their HEA’s. I feel like we have got the HFN’s but I need it to be all wrapped up with a bright shiny ribbon. But knowing how Patty treats my boys it will probably be battered, bloody and bruised.
I can’t tell you how much I loved this entire series. It was deep and personal. How these two men learned to like, trust, then lean on the other before falling head over heals in love was truly mesmerizing and wonderful. I had thought I had heard that there was going to be a spin-off series and I hope that’s true and that it is Mac and Nico’s so we can still see our boys grow old together. Fabulous series and a must read in my opinion!

Brilliant!!
An amazing ending to one of the most action packed, thrill ride series ever!!! Thayne, Jarrett and the gang went out with a bang and it couldn't have been better. So well done, well written, great characters and storylines to die for! Congratulations Patricia!!!

So sad to see it end..
This is a great ending to a very fun series. Most of the characters are back for this thrill ride including the Mossad agent Adael Dayan. The story continues with a mission in which involves Mac McCallahan and Nico Deveccio going undercover and Jarrett and Thayne on the sidelines. But not for long... The book is action packed and I do hope to see these people in future books or novellas. I will surely miss them. Im very intrigued about Mac and Nico's relationship. The MM couples are hot as usual. Very glad I found this series. Definite re-read.

Endings and Beginnings was just that, the boys finished their mission and new beginnings started for Nico and Mac. Jarrett and thayne are so sweet and sexy their love shines through. Nico and mac were hot from the beginning they were adorable. This book was amazing anyone who reads it will love it

Sad to see this series end. It is one of my favorites.
I was hoping to see more of Mac & Nico's story or even a book for Adael(this man deserves a HEA) but it looks like we are getting a new series from this author since there's a sneak peek at the end of this book for it.
Maybe one day we will get to revisit Jarrett and Thayne as well as the rest of this crew of terrific characters.
Until then...I can't recommend this series enough.

This is one of my favourite series. I love the humour, action, hot men, explosions and amazing story telling. Usually I don’t hesitate to give five stars but in this case I gave four because there was a number off areas that were basically explaining things from the previous books. That’s great if you have a bad memory or are new to the series but I found it annoying. I love Mac Mac Mac and it was good seeing him hot and horny and getting his man.

Aww I love the guys and girls of this series. A brilliantly written book which would taken a lot logistics to keep track of. The action and the romance just keeps coming and surprises pop up to keep in enjoyable. The ending was great with a new beginnings for the hole family unit at ATF.
I was definitely cheering on Mac Mac to find love at last. Thayne and Jarrett are there sexy selves. When the mission goes tits up, lives are endanger of civilians and agents. A blast from the past shows up which Jarrett not happy about but info's important to the case. Hot smokin love making between couples in scenes is beautiful.
Thayne and Jarrett are now married and back in to the swing of things. Thayne wasn't amused when Jarrett drives up in a hearse to be his new car. Lol.😅
A new assignment with the gang, hmm I wonder what trouble they can get into this time.
Helping the FBI with a case at a mine in South Africa involving the Chinese, U.S back tracking to Stryker-Dunn Security co. Drake Archer is a target for them with info.
Mac Mac goes undercover at the security co. and Jarrett and Snow on the outside all working together to gather more info. Others are vital in the mission too, especially Nico.

Sarà che avevo aspettative molto alte per questo ottavo volume della serie.
Sarà che l'aver messo in compresenza due coppie, non ha di fatto permesso a nessuna delle due di brillare. Certo Wolf e Evans non hanno bisogno di farsi conoscere, però il loro posizionamento mai al centro dell'azione li ha penalizzati, togliendo loro il brio a cui ero abituata. D'altro canto, Nico e Mac non hanno avuto la possibilità di farsi apprezzare pienamente. Le cose tra loro, come coppia, evolvono con eccessiva velocità e le loro storie personali sono rimaste nebulose.
Sarà perché l'ho trovato lento nell'azione, specialmente nella prima parte, e un po' copia di altri capitoli nell'evolversi dei fatti .
Sarà, sarà, sarà, però, alla fine, questo romanzo non mi ha convinta per nulla.
La storia l'ho trovata un po' forzata, l'organizzazione del caso é carente e approssimata in tanti punti, con troppe criticità su cui si è sorvolato.

6+ stars! Thayne and Jarrett, are now 2 of my all-time favorite MC's EVER and I got all 10 books in the series. I binged on the first 8 books then savored the last 2 as I was dreading saying goodbye to them and all their friends and family. So very entertaining. I highly recommend reading them in order as the stories do build on each other, although you can stop after each one (well, in theory you can - I couldn't...)
I just love them all and can't wait to re-read this series again - probably when #11 comes out which is showing but with no release date yet.

This is an ongoing series with the same characters so please make sure you read the books in order.
This is truly one of the best MM series I have EVER read! The writing brings the characters to life. From book 1 you will be sucked in to this thrilling series filled with passion, love, adventure, excitement, laughs and everything you could ever want in a romantic suspense novel.
I feel as though Thayne and Jarrett are a part of my lives forever now.
Nothing will be the same.

This is truly one of the best MM series I have EVER read! The writing brings the characters to life. From book 1 you will be sucked in to this thrilling series filled with passion, love, adventure, excitement, laughs and everything you could ever want in a romantic suspense novel.
I feel as though Thayne and Jarrett are a part of my lives forever now.
Nothing will be the same.

The author ties up the Death and Destruction series with this final, ensemble book. This one ran at the same pace for me as the others, starting out a little slowly but then really picking up speed between 50 and 75%. At that point, I don't want to put it down. There are 3 romances in this book, each at a different stage, which adds a little variety. The action continues to be exciting. I truly enjoyed all 8 installments, and will be looking at the spin-off, the Thin Blue Line series.

This book is very different from the others earlier in the series. And it was a refreshing change. Getting to know Thayne and Jarrett’s closest friends and colleagues better really ties this series together. I admit I missed the shenanigans of Thayne and Jarrett but they were present throughout the book and helped advance the storyline. I’m curious to see the next series spinoff if there is one.

Great ending
I have followed this team from the beginning. There cases have put them in some hairy positions, but they get the job done. They have found love along the way. They are a true family. I just hate this is the end. Since there are new couples there are more stories to be told!! This book title really fit this book!!

This Series is A Wildly Fun Ride!
I'd recommend this series by Patricia Logan to anyone who loves action, adventure, intrigue, hot sex and romance.
The characters feel so real you'll want to know what's going on in their lives, long after the series ends. Definitely worth rereading. Hope to hear the last 4 books on Audible very soon.

This just keeps getting better. I loved the ones before. Maybe now because the Mills Lang stuff is out of the way, I have less stress about the story. Whatever the reason, I absolutely love this crew of characters. I loved getting to know Mac and Nico more. Happy for Sarah and Lincoln. Love this series

Amazing ending
This was an amazing ending to an amazing series!! I will miss Jared and Thayne but I look forward to listening to them when all 8 books is on audible.... Me Logan definitely did not disappoint... Looking forward to starting the new series.....
