All 25 short stories by top writers, in this delightful compendium, have a common motif: intrigue, suspense, and crime in New York City. What a perfect companion for a snowed-in night! The editors of this great big collection have selected stories whose plots and styles differ widely. What shines through is the setting -- the Big Apple. Suggestion: Read one story a night and you'll look forward to even the coldest, most blustery evening. Perfect for your permanent library or as a gift to a friend or associate, Manhattan Mysteries gives you the widest spectrum of entertainment, from mystery/humor to mystery/suspense, at an astonishingly low price.

Yet another thrift store find, this has shorts from many authors--by the way, there are editors of this volume so I don't know why Asimov is listed as the author--all taking place in the titular locale. Some are trash--McBain, for instance--and others are good. In short, just like every other mystery anthology ever created. You probably don't need to go look this one up.
