"My thought is mine, and it is known to me alone; it is my sanctuary, my private closet, where others do not enter. Everyone can see what I see, but no one knows what I think."

“This book is a prolonged effort to establish a distinction between what is called mind and what is called matter. Nothing is more simple than to realise this distinction when you do not go deeply into it; nothing is more difficult when you analyse it a little. At first sight, it seems impossible to confuse things so far apart as a thought and a block of stone; but on reflection this great contrast vanishes, and other differences have to be sought which are less apparent and of which one has not hitherto dreamed.”

Mi serve per il libro che sto scrivendo perché la tesi di dottorato della dottoressa Madeleine Pelletier (1874-1939) venne pubblicata nel 1904 in una collana di testi di psicologia, diretta da Alfred Binet...

Books that are not recommended for general readers who do not have considerable knowledge in many sciences. With language that is too scientific, coupled with views that discredit the understanding of metaphysicians and physical scientists in viewing intelligence, I think that's why the IQ test can no longer be used as the basis state of leveling intelligence because a person's intelligence factor in the brain and mind is influenced by many things, not just sensations from sensing.

Ironically, much of this went above my mind and brain. But as far as I was able to follow it, I enjoyed this book. I am fascinated, primarily from a metaphysical perspective, in the human brain and mind, and how both interact, along with the immortal soul. It's an incredibly in-depth study and this book, though old now (1905), makes some very precise explorations into the subject.

This book is amazing and I have written one for teenagers and young adults in the similar theme.
The concepts may not be as detailed as the classics, but it gave me a lot of happiness writing something related in a more simple fashion. Have a look at A theory 7 by shiny B.

The audiobook speaks about the different perspective and point of views of the brain and the mind, spirituality and materialism, I personally agreed and disagreed with some. However it was good to see what homo sapiens think of and expand on it.
