Good aspiring author
From what I have been able to gather, the author has been publishing for about 4 years. While her stories do provide for an easy read, the signs of her being at the beginning stages of her writing do show through. I found myself left in wanting in character development on several occasions, and by the time I finished the book set, each mention of “waggle” in reference to eyebrows was like nails on a chalkboard. In short, a thesaurus can be a writers best friend. It’s hard to lose yourself in a book and forget you are reading when the characters keep waggling their eyebrows every encounter. While I have read more than a few short stories, and loved some, I have come to the point that I now look at page counts as a qualifying factor when choosing books to read as I seem to run into this same issue more frequently the shorter the writing pieces are. While I did enjoy the set I did read from this author, I probably won’t pick up another for quite awhile, unless it’s a new book several years down the road and a full published book instead of a series of short stories. This author could take her writing to the next level simply by taking the time to expand on her characters and draw out the stories with a bit more detail both in the characters themselves as well as their interactions. It would keep her stories from becoming monotonous and repetitive, as well as help create a smoother read without so many gaping holes. There is no need to rush writing and her taking a little more time can only make her better. While it can enhance the story when not rushed or just thrown in there, I could care less about the steamy content as long as I’m provided with a fulfilled plot and characters so real I can see them in my head and know or imagine everything about them. It’s clear the writer has a knack for this and I have no doubt that with a little time, and a bit more patience, she can be one of the great ones.

FINDING YOUR TRUE MATE IS A SHIFTER PRIORITY!
Only 3 STARS for V. Design's Winter Valley Wolves- Complete Edition, because of the shortness of the storylines left the story stripped down and although the sex scenes were sensuous sexy with hot yet poignant love, from novella to novella they seemed almost like you read one sex scene you had read the other, very familiar. I loved the basic storyline idea and I think a great series could have been written here then the familiarity in the sexual content or love making scenes would not have come at the reader as quickly in full novels, but this issue and the women getting pregnant on day 1, 2, or 3 just pushed my , "Who are you kidding" button, again all the Ladies were the same and not even 1 baby had been born to the group to anyone in it's whole existence that just tried for children , not really being true mates or maybe they didn't believe in "love" or "true mates" and this finally kicked it down to the 3rd Star with the other considerations. It's not a bad read if you don't want to be invested in a book but want your sexual encounters to be surrounded with love and family etc.

Lacks depth
I enjoyed these for quick reads. They are fun stories and I like how each book follows the different characters introduced in earlier books. But it felt like the books were more about the steamy scenes than the storyline. The werewolf lore wasn’t expounded upon, but depended on the reader’s previous knowledge or just giving small tidbits here or there throughout the series. I wanted more depth in the story, but I’m assuming the length of these stories is what hindered the ability to include more development. I am definitely interested in this author and would love to read more.

One of the best werewolf series that I have ever read!!!
I've read a lot of series about werewolves and this is definitely one of the best. You will find yourself sitting up long past your bedtime to finish these romance books written with the knowledge that shifters are real and what every woman wants for herself. You will meet sexy as sin shifters and human women who are willing to take a chance on finding one for unending love. You will find yourself out there looking for one for yourself. Highly w.

3.5 stars
While reading this boxset I kept alternating between 3 and 4 stars and it’s really in the middle for me.
What did work for me:
* world build
* interconnected stand-alones
* likable characters
* engaging storylines
What didn’t work:
* pacing, parts of the stories are drawn out and parts are rushed
* I never connected with the characters’ journeys, there’s too little build up
* the sexy times are so rushed, they are over before they actually begin. Either write intimate scenes or fade into black when you want to keep it clean but this is neither this nor that.

An Amazing Collection
An amazing collection of stories by V. vaughn. Strong,alpha makes and kick*$$, take no prisoners females strong enough to stand up to their men, but soft enough to be women and mothers, as well as doctors and other professionals. Love the continuity, and the fact that each can be read as a stand alone story. Some sexual scenarios and tension, but overall a very enjoyable read!

A great collection of shifter stories
V. Vaughn does it again. A collection of HEA shifter romance tales. Werewolf men need human women they can turn to mate with for the future of the pack. Each book has a twist and plot that is new for each rated pair. They are fun fast reads. I highly recommend the series

Very good book 😁
I loved following the lives of this pack and I can't wait to read more from this author.
I especially liked how familiarizing the previous chats in the next stories and made their true love come true.
The only reason iconic out this series as 5star is because there was just a little something missing for me. However I did did enjoy it thoroughly.

Great stories...
They are sweet and romantic, however, after the first one they are a bit predictable. It's almost the same story with different names. There are a couple places where there's misspelled or missing words,though not many or much problem. I'd recommend this series to 18 and above, who like paranormal love.

Wow! What a great collection of stories. Fantastic plots, with hot werewolves and their chosen mates! Loved all of them, each book is completely different, but they all go together, too. Making it into a great community with close families and friendships! Full of danger, drama, adventures and sacrifice to find true love! What a wonderful series!

I’m giving the stories 2 out of 5 and another 1/2 star because I read them all. I was traveling and these were easy to put down when needed. The characters were underdeveloped, and the whole true mates/I-know-I’ve-only-known-you-for-a-day-but-I’m-in-love-with-you-anyway thing got old fast. The stories had potential, but were rushed and too short to really get a good romance started.

Happy Ending Short Stories
These don't have a lot of depth to them but they are super cute and have great happy endings for everyone. If you want quick reads that put a smile on your face these are definitely a must. I also love how you get to follow some characters from one book to the next so you get to see how characters grow.

Lots of HEA stories
What a great collection of stories, all connected, but each a separate story. I love the myth behind the Silver Lake wolves. There are even some moms, and aunts getting mated to their own true mates. I would love to see some women in their sixties getting a new lease on life, but at least the thirty somethings are getting happy endings.

I read the entire thing but not sure why other than I hate to leave books unfinished. These stories are short with instant love/ lust, you are mate and really just so limited in the stories. A few had some interesting concepts which is why I gave it a 2 but there is no character development or world building. All completely rushed.

I was really disappointed in the shortness of the stories it left them falling short in both depth and drama I was just getting into the story expecting drama to amp up and all of a sudden it’s skipped over to a dull and predictable happy ending

Entertaining Series

This series is so well written that it makes me believe that werewolves truly exist. So much true love interwoven through the pages of each story makes me long to find that commitment. A must read for any that are willing to believe.

These are cute
Super sweet true mate romance stories that will make you giggle. Very short reads that could be made into much longer stories of the author ever chose to do so. I really enjoyed them and my favorite hero for his mate in the final story. Made me super happy☺

Great reads
Love the concept. Most shifter books are the same but V Vaughan's concept is one I haven't read before. The idea that male werewolves need human women to continue the species is different and intriguing.
