Pigs in Love

Rate this book
"They say it with flowers.
They say it with hearts
They say it with candy
and strawberry tarts."

Pretty pink pigs celebrate Valentine's Day, and show how many ways one can say the three most precious words in the I love you . In thoroughly sweet, un-swinish style, they tell their fathers and mothers, their pesky little brothers, their sweethearts and buddies. Some whisper, some shout, some sing of love, some write a poem. But no matter how and where they do it, these adorably expressive piggies are living proof that everyone is someone's lovin' valentine. Youngsters will want to share this with everyone they care for, on Valentine's Day and all year long.

A cute little read for my son's reading time. As it gets closer to valentine's day. I like to introduce him to holiday related types books to teach him about holidays and other things.

A cute little rhyming board book about love. My only quibble with this book is that it ends with a comment about making a valentine, which makes the picky adult in me want to say, "ONCE A YEAR BOOK!" In reality, little ones will enjoy a seasonal book, year-round. However, it's also sweet but not a book I'm crazy about.

Love the metallic element to the graphics. Sweet story about how we can love all different ways and show it many different ways. Good for read-a-loud.
