About the author

When she used to draw as a child, Rebecca Harry never knew she’d be lucky enough to do it as a job when she grew up. She studied graphic design and illustration and now works in a little studio above her friend’s busy jewelry shop, where she has illustrated many picture books for children. Rebecca Harry lives in Cardiff, Wales, with her two lovely children.

Positively adorable. Incredibly, scrumptiously cute. Lovable and cuddly. I'm not sure what else I can say to convey just how "cute" this book is. LOVE the illustrations and the story line is so sweet.

An enchantingly beautiful book with a wonderful message about friendship and giving. The foil embellishments throughout make this a story that endears itself to the reader with each page. A winter tale that little animal lovers will delight in reading. I secretly want to have a store just like Mr Badger's.

I'm a sucker for beautiful metallic decorations on pages. So beautiful! And the story was pretty cute too. Rabbit makes knitted items for his friends so they won't be cold when they all play together in the snow.

The illustrations are so gorgeous. The story is cute but not the most original. My students enjoyed it nonetheless (they are between 3-6 years old)

A few observations:

1. These animals are unfit for survival in harsh conditions.
2. Snow Bunny finds a silver coin and...keeps it? If a single coin is enough to buy a ball of wool - a surprisingly expensive item these days - then Snow Bunny ought to have placed an advertisement in the Lost and Found section of the Bunny Gazette.
3. In the interests of equity and inclusiveness, Snow Bunny should knit wooly garments for all of the animals who will be just as cold as Bear, Fox, and Mouse.
4. Is it a good idea to encourage people to knit Christmas gifts? I've had some doozies.

This book is so sweet and beautiful! Definitely tempted to buy this one for our Christmas collection. One thing I especially like is that it’s about Christmas Eve and gifts, but doesn’t involve Santa at all. Just a thoughtful bunny giving gifts to her friends to show that she appreciates their friendship.

Everyone seems to love this, wavered between 1 and 2 stars. Sickly sweet characters prepare for Christmas, some are cold so Snow Bunny buys some wool and makes them scarves. If you are cold and have no clothes a scarf isn't what you need, a coat, a blanket, a warm burrow perhaps?
