I thought that this was a very good book, but I didn't like it nearly as much as the other Huntington books. This book takes place in lots of diffrent places; Utah, California, and Colorado. Savvy is the main character, she is an astronomy major in California, she is smart, and pretty. Tyler Huntington is a journalist, he is really handsome and is popular with the girls. Lexi is stuggling with the loss of her mother so she seeks out her sister Savvy. She is the typical tennage girl, complete with the over done makeup and piercings. The main problem is that Savvy can't get Lexi to open up about her past, and Savvy loves her best friend Tyler.
Savvy has always loved Tyler, and unfortunately he just hasn't realized yet that he feels the same way. When the sister that Savvy never knew she had shows up at her house, she has to help her get back to their birth father, and open up about her past. Is is really hard for Savvy, who doesn't exactly have the best feelings for her birth father Derek, since she grew up with a loving step-father. When they finally make it to Colorado and find Derek, he is worried sick about Lexi. They find that the reason he was so quiet and secluded was because he had just found out he had terminal cancer. Lexi and Savvy, finally getting along, spend lots of time with him before he dies. Tyler helps them out, and after spending so much time with Savvy, realizes that he too has always loved her.
I didn't really like how slow this book was, and I found it really hard to get into. The theme was that through hard work, people with diffrent backgrounds can learn to love each other. I would reccommend this book to anyone who likes the author, and wants to read a good romance book.
