All the time I read this, I didn't treat it as a textbook, but as one of my novels. It's so interesting.
It explores all topics of the middle ages. And for every ruler/phase we learn, it also introduces the heritage introduced, which I really like.
I just wish it had more topics about trade, the spice trade, silk routes, and spice routes, along with explorers who discovered places.
