This books was one of the jems that my junior high had. Filled with beautiful detail pictures and paintings throughout. If you are into the military history, European politics of the Napoleonic era or just the battle of Waterloo ( Quatre bras etc) then this is the book for you.

Text on the historical background by Michael Glover is good. I picked up a cheap paperback edition for £2 while on holidays in the UK. Unfortunately it appears to be missing the coloured uniform plates.
