More on common sense and siguro reminders para sa mga nakakalimot.
More on pang-bata ang approach nia. As in maglalabel ka ng containers for savings mo, I think It is much better kung sa bank ka magsave, yung may interest. Para lumalago din ang sinasave mo.
I literally finished this in one sitting. It contains short, concise, and on-point tips on saving money. Now I am officially an IPONARYO. I will apply these into my life. Presently I am at the beginning of my education on financial literacy. This is a good easy book to start.
Chinkee Tan is a good financial advisor. I've watched at least some of his vids and I can attest that he really provide sound advice. But I feel like this book did not do any justice to his prowess. Medyo nakulangan ako sa libro niyang ito. Madami lapses para sa akin and parang di mo mama-maximise yung learning mo about financial literacy. May mga times na repetitive yung book and it also tells you things that you already know which sometimes I hate. Also, I feel like it went overboard in advertising. Me nabasa nga akong review dito ang sabi is parang bumili siya ng book to read adverts which I agree to.
But I do not discredit Chinkee Tan. Like what I said earlier, he's a good FA. And I think it has to do with perspectives. Maybe for those people who really want to start saving but don't know where to begin this might help them, I think.

I could say I've heard most of the advice from this book, but what really made me stop and think is that most of the time, I only think of how little I spend instead of how much I could save if I control myself. Like everyday, I buy a 10 peso bottled water. That little amount can't hurt, right? But in a week, that's 50 pesos which is 2600 in a year. That's a lot when I can spend literally 0 if I just bring water everyday. Also I'm guilty of this mindset "This is my money, I can spend it however I want." Which makes sense but thinking about it in the long run, I won't be able to enjoy the money I worked hard for and won't feel that I had it at all because I traded it for immediate rewards that don't last.
I have realized a lot of things after reading the book, so I'd say it was a good one.
Now, I feel excited and more motivated to get serious with saving money. I hope after reading this book, I'd really stick to it.
I have known most of the contents here, but I like how it organized and compiled everything that I know about saving money haha It’s convenient I guess. I also like that there’s an “Ipon tracker” inside the book.
This book is helpful especially for those people who don’t have an idea about saving money.
Now this book helped me a LOT. It actually provided useful methods and information on how to save money. I also loved how humor was integrated; it made reading and learning enjoyable. This was a good read. I will definitely go back and read this book over and over again.
Tapos ko nang basahin! Ngayon ay dapat namang i-apply. Tara mag-ipon tayo, Ella! :D Thank you Lord and thank you Mommy and thank you Chinkee for this very practical book!
