Ce livre, tout comme les deux autres, font un très bon travail pour résumé et bien présenté les films de la première trilogie de Star Wars. Une belle façon de découvir cet univers pour les jeunes lecteurs.

Very good narration using different voices and pictures from the movie. It’s very good and a lot of fun. Kids will love it.

I was proud when my daughter grabbed this off the shelf at the library. Especially with all the hoopla around the new movies (which have been fantastic), I really want to introduce her to this story.

Thankfully it was the first book in the storyline as well, so it was great. She's always been interested in my husbands t-shirt that has all of the Star Wars characters on it. It took her a few pages to settle down and pay attention, but once that happened, she was very engaged in the book.

The pictures are actual screen captures from the movie which I thought was cool. It will help her recognize all the characters once she is old enough to watch the movie. I thought the book did a good job of summarizing all the key points in a pretty short story.

As a book, this was a long book for a 2 year old to sit through. I think older preschoolers would get more out of this. My daughter was engaged the whole time and interested in the story, but the plot mostly went over her head.

We enjoyed this though and as she gets older we'll look for more of these.

This book is the perfect way to introduce a young fan to Star Wars. It's also a great book to add to any elementary school library or classroom library.

My Review: I picked this book up to introduce my love for Star Wars to Munchkin, some of the other books I have picked up were good but not as perfect as this book. I love that it includes and audio CD to go with it, not only does it narrate the story with voices but it also includes great sound effects. The book also does a great job of condensing A New Hope without loosing any of the storyline. Munchkin really enjoyed it and now we have to pick up the rest of the books with audio CDs.
