I just wanted a quick easy to read book for before bed while I was on a break and after a while searching kindle I stumbled on this one. And since I am on a huge audio book binge atm I grabbed the whispersync and it was exactly what I was chasing. Cute, hot fluff with insta love and I got a little bit of vengeance against the idiot ex, which I loved.

I am really liking these short stories by Hope Ford they are quick to read on my lunch hour, steamy and sweet.
Lexi has always done what is expected of her but the night she finds out that her fiancé is cheating on her because he thinks she is fat she knows that she will never marry him, in the mood to do something reckless she decides that to get a tattoo but what she finds at the parlour is a man who shows her what it’s really like to be wanted but does he really want a forever with her?
Luke sees Lexi and immediately knows that she is the one that he has been looking for, once she sets foot in his shop there is no way that he is ever going to let her go. But will a refined woman want a forever with him and when her fiancé tries to get her back he knows that there is nothing he won’t do to keep her, she was made to be his.

Lmao what the heck was this storyline ? Everything is so rushed and things are moving WAY too quickly, they’ve just met but they’re already in love. Jeez I know it’s a novella, but damn it was absolutely hilarious and unrealistic as hell. Don’t bother guys, it’s not worth it.

I know, I’m probably getting an eye roll for this comment but just hear me out. This is a short story romance. And while short and to the point...it lost all the details that make a story great. Hero sees heroine from afar and is immediately in love with her. Before he knows ANYTHING about her. Before he TALKS to her. He wants her. He wants her babies. It’s just so over the top insta-love without any of the build of emotions that it just completely lost me, sadly. I just needed so much more to make this an actual story.

There were definitely some formatting, and spelling mistakes. And I can look past those. However, there are quite a few unanswered questions. The one that will keep me up at night: what was she originally going to get tattooed to her body? That was a pretty big part of the story and it was just glossed on by.

Good
This was a really sweet, quick and sexy read. Alexis wasn’t a doormat and wasn’t going to put up with a cheating fiancé. Luke knew instantly that Alexis was going to change his life. The two had instant chemistry and both felt connected to one another. They wasted no time in being together!

Completely safe. No ow drama, h broke up with her fiancé because he was a cheater and had no plans on stopping. The H’s past isn’t really mentioned and h had only been with her fiancé once. No abuse.

I should probably give this 1 star, but I'm giving it 2 because the sex scenes were good. The story is rushed and unbelievable. The writing level is not even up to a third grade level in my opinion. The dialogue is terrible. The thoughts of the main characters are not the developed and mature thoughts of adults, more like small children.
Most problematic, the male protagonist is possessive and controlling. He decides he wants her to have his baby almost immediately after the first time they sleep together, and proceeds to tell her that they will probably have one because they haven't been using protection and that he wants her to have his baby. She's so young and naive (even though she was previously engaged--her MO seems to be just going along with whatever the men in her life want) that she acts as if this is an epiphany and she hadn't thought about the possibility of being pregnant and then a couple months later she decides to go along with his desire to have a baby. He keeps mentioning that he has a void in his life that he wants to fill with a baby, but it never mentions that she desires a baby. The author seems to think that point is moot. It only matters that he wants a baby-i.e, only his desires matter. She only exists for him. Hence the title: 'Made for Me.' If you can't see why this story is problematic, go ahead and read it. If you can overlook the many, many problematic and offensive elements, the sex itself is enjoyable. In my opinion, the only good thing about this short story is the sex. I know that this is erotica but I can't handle a relationship that is this toxic and cringeworthy. If you don't agree with toxic relationships, give this one a hard pass.

I listened to the Audible version. I would recommend this audiobook to those who want to skip the typical relationship drama and just read the love scenes. The book was truly boy meets girl followed by steamy scenes with no conflict and very little character development. With it being under an hour long, I was actually wondering if it was the start to a series in episode format, but it's a stand alone. There's also an age gap with a older man/younger women, which seemed like an odd combination for insta-true love when one of the characters is a sheltered 20 (not an I-had-to-grow-up-early 20).
The narrator did a great job including a lot of feeling and variety in her voices. I didn't love the female voice, but I appreciated the marked difference between the male/female point of view.

This quick, steamy listen will burn your ears and keep you listening. Luke is a tattoo artist, the consummate professional, not touching his clients except to ink them. Now Lexi comes in, broken from a recent involvement with a jerk of a man and no family support. And he can't help himself. There is insta-lust in this story, but there is something about the couple that makes it seem perfect. Luke is older, and I love that his maturity helps Lexi realize her own beauty and self worth. There is family drama and a lot of love in this short.
Narrated by Gina A Jones, we get all the feels, all the love, all the frustration and all the hope in her performance. It's my first listen by her and I am loving her voices. She finds the nuances in each character and adds her interpretation right into the voice. Loved it and can't wait for more!

This was a nice story and I liked the characters. The best thing about it though in my opinion is the way that Luke treated Alexis. He quickly recognized her mindset and set about disabusing her of her negative thoughts. I loved the way he stood up for her.

LOVED
I've read at least 1\2 to 2\3rds of Hope Ford's published book, and this is by far my favorite not only a 5 stars earning I give based on how I usually give reviews and date the based on my expectations I have of when read this genre and or what I know going into a book by an athor I know well ; meaning I base the reviews and ratings in party subjectively depend on what I deem fair cause I know what standards expect when choosing to one of their books going it ( ex the world according to garp by John Irving, Odd Thomas by Dean Kuntz, or The Vampire Lestat by Ann Rice are all 5 star favorite book of mine... But those are books in a significantly different category than these novellas and if I tried rating them with equal standards.... Those books woke be a 5 and these would be a 1 )
Point being, this is a 5 star book for be just using my genre expectations, meaning it's across the board a higher level comparatively ..
I loved Luke and Lexys story , their individual characters, and then as a couple. They were perfect and not boring at all . I just loved them together start to finish, never once acting in a way that makes u wanna smack the duh stupid out of whatever that most characters have at least a few moment in every other story line... But these to were not easy perfect individuals, but never once let their flaw hinder their blooming relationship, they arrested Andy question of insecurity right away instead of assuming things out of fear and communicated straight up front no games what they were and where they were touring as a couple. I want more Luke and Lexy allow day!!

This is the story of Lexi and Luke, a steamy romance between an older superhot sixpack chested tattoo artist and shy, lacking-self-esteem, bbw Alexis.
Lexi has just found out her fiancé has been cheating on her.
Pretty bluntly, he tells her to her face, he will shamelessly continue doing so, even after they get married. He also calls her fat and considering, she has bruises on her arms, he seems to be generally an all round nice guy.
Luckily, Lexi finally gets the message and breaks up with him. She decides to get a tattoo to celebrate her new found courage and that's where she meets Luke, who is the owner of Get Inked. (Love the name of the shop.)
For him, it's love at first sight and things fall into place superquick and superhot after that.

Gina A. Jones is simply perfect and deserves ten stars. Her voice is seductive and sexy and fun and I loved every second of her narration.

You certainly get here exactly what it says on the tin. It's a short and very steamy erotic novella with a fabulous narration.
The space for character development isn't there and everything falls into place super-duper-mega-quick.
I didn't like Luke much as a person. He is too dominieering, too possessive and doesn't give Lexi space to breathe. The way he wants her to share her life with him, from one second to the next, would in real life give me totally the creeps.
Mind you, I wouldn't have a problem with his looks, not at all.
Perfect listen to switch off for an hour and simply enjoy.

Luke is a tattoo artist and owns his own shop. He spots Lexi (Alexis) outside his shop and watches her as she seems like she is wrestling with deciding if she wants a tattoo or not. Either way, Luke watches her because he is sure that she is perfect for him. When Lexi comes into the shop and explains what happened that prompted her being there, Luke was both angry and ecstatic. Angry because of the way that Lexi had been treated by her fiance but ecstatic because that meant she was all his and he wasn't going to let her go. To make sure he gets to keep her, he's going to put his baby in her. Luke protects her when her ex-fiance shows up and tries to make her take him back. He knows that she was made for him.
I want to keep Luke. He was so sweet and even though Lexi was so unsure, he reassured her and let her know that he was there for her. I loved how he treated Lexi and that he was all in as soon as he saw her. Lexi had taken control of her life, but she was still unsure of things. I loved their happy ever after. Of course, I wish there was an epilogue further out, but I'm greedy like that! I recommend reading this book.

It's a 50-page novella or basically a fan fic or short story you wrote for school, lol.
Luke is 35 and owns a tattoo place and ofcourse he is "huge, the size of his dick is almost unheard of" but 20 year old Alexis who has had sex once in her life takes it no issue. Repeating in one night and then multiple times the next no issue at all 🙄🙄

And boom Night 2, they are talking about babies and meeting her dad.
I have no issue with novellas, but at least try and make them realistic.

Gina did an amazing job on the narration. She really brought the story to life with the different voice/tones she used for each character.

Okay....I keep coming back to Hope Ford books.
I really, really liked this one, as unrealistic and absurd as it was.
Just..... Two things I gotta say.
1. STOP saying these girls are "bbw"s. They're not. It's misleading. These girls are probably the size of a mainstream plus size model, who are small. Girls that can shop in a straight size store. Knock it off. It's disrespectful to true plus size women.
2. Why, why, why does every hero of hers have to have a monster dick? We're not all size queens and it's just not important. Let the guy be a great lover, which has nothing to do with the size of his genatalia.
Okay. Rant over.

1. STOP saying these girls are "bbw"s. They're not. It's misleading. These girls are probably the size of a mainstream plus size model, who are small. Girls that can shop in a straight size store. Knock it off. It's disrespectful to true plus size women.
2. Why, why, why does every hero of hers have to have a monster dick? We're not all size queens and it's just not important. Let the guy be a great lover, which has nothing to do with the size of his genatalia.

A short, erotic romance read. Full of steam but still had a story line that could be followed and had good flow. I loved how Luke is a self proclaimed a-hole but he and Lexi's father are great examples of what men should be and how they should treat a woman. I loved the narration - Great Job voicing these characters. This is my first by Hope Ford and I hope it won't be my last!

This is the first book in the Get Inked Bad Boys Romance. Luke and Lexi's story is fast paced, and hot. Luke is the owner of Get Inked Tattoo Shop. He is handsome, alpha, possessive, and protective. Lexi, a curvy woman, is sweet and lovely. They share an instant attraction/love, and a sizzling chemistry. I love the ending. Gina A. Jones did a great job with the narration. Looking forward for the next book in the Series, Eyes on Me.

Luke sees Alexis through his tattoo shop window and instantly falls for her. The attraction is mutual, and Luke doesn't waste time showing Aexis all the reasons he's the best man for her.
This is short with lots of steamy scenes but it is also an overall satisfying listen.
The narration was good, and the intonations were pretty good, too.

Made to combust 🔥
Talk about hot I think this is one of of this author’s steamiest reads! My only complaint it could be 10 times longer! When a book has this much heat who wants it to end !! Not only did I read this book but I listened to it on audible, WOW love , love, loved that ! Very enjoyable!!!🔥

Not what I expected
It's fine for a super quick exciting read ...but it moved way to fast....hard to look over fast .... I tend to look over a lot for a good romance...because, well they are fictional stories.... But I like a story more than the erotic part.... It's not bad and could be an amazing novel... But just too creepy quick ....it makes everything seem weird.

Audiobook Review: Wow! I was sucked in from the very beginning. The meeting and nearly immediate consummation between Luke and Lexi is hot! The story builds into a sweet tale as their insta-lust becomes more and Luke's possessive and protective nature are put to the test. The narrator did a great job. I received a free copy of this Audiobook and voluntarily reviewed it.

I knew the story would escalate quickly based on the 54 min listening time but it was 5 minutes after meeting till sexy times and 2 days till declarations of love. I would have liked a little more depth vs possessiveness but I guess when you know, you know.
The narrator did an excellent job and the production was flawless.

Hard to believe
I'm able to put aside a lot for a good story, but this was all just too fast and short for me to be able to accept. I don't want to spoil anything, but I couldn't believe that this relationship or even these characters were a real HEA and it kept pulling me from enjoying the story.
