I am rereading books I have had for years and loved, or I wouldn't have kept them. That's what staying at home during a pandemic is all about -- enjoying what you have and staying safe. Anyway, this is a funny book and not on a cutesy level. The illustrations are by the Sylvia illustrator / writer.
Example: Cats don't make jokes at your expense.
If people do make jokes at you about your cats or anything, get this book. There is an updated version which I ordered. I am a dog person. This is a serious recommendation.
This is hilarious! I liked how they really exaggerated the cats, but I didn't like he feeling of the pages or how each sentence began with "A cat" or "Cats". Anyway, it was very entertaining and a pleasure to read this, despite the messy handwriting.
