Every year Santa's littlest helper makes wonderful presents for the children, bakes delicious cookies, and shines his sleigh...and every year the biggest helper tells him no, he can't go with the others to help Santa deliver presents. He's just too small. But one year the littlest one overhears the animals in the forest complain that they never get Christmas presents-and he knows just what to do. The other helpers are so proud they name him Santa to the animals for every year to come.

Usually everyone gets to help Santa get all the presents delivered. Everyone except the littlest one. But this year is going to be different. He is determined to help. And once he hears the animals wishing they got presents like children do, the Littlest Helped knew exactly what he needed to do. I enjoyed this story and think it would be one that will be well loved over years to come.

This beautiful Christmas story is a great book for children to read. Not only are the words simple and the pictures detailed but the meaning comes through loud and clear. We are all different, all capable of doing what we set our minds to, and all special in our own way. Our Littlest Helper, discovered his specialty and thus if he can, we can too. It is a simple but cute and inspiring little Christmas tale.

The illustrations in this book are beautiful. This is a great story to read to students around Christmas. This also has a good story line for students who have been told that they are too little to help or do things that bigger people normally do.
