Even though Kaori's memories were washed away each week, it was clear that Yuuki remained tucked away somewhere in her heart...or at least, that's how it felt before. Having Kaori treat him the way she did that very first time they spoke is painful, but Yuuki isn't willing to give up on their one-week friendship - even if it means confronting Kaori's childhood friend, Hajime. Meanwhile, when Saki demands that Shougo own up to her reliance on others, things might start to change between the two of them...
I'm very excited to see the growth of Hase! He has come SUCH a long way and proud of him for how he is handling the situation. I feel compared to how "whiny" he was to Kiryuu, he has really stepped up and has just been a friend. Yes, it's definitely obvious (was before now, but even more so) that he has feelings for Fujimiya, but I LOVE how he is almost putting those feelings "on the side" so he genuinely can just be a friend.
Also, speaking of Kiryuu, he is too cute in this volume! Seeing the young man completely out of his element was adorable. He puts up with so much from everyone, but yet continues to listen, observe, and stick around. He's probably been the most interesting character in that regard because he is very much a rock for everyone…until a certain character flips his world upside down! Though in typical Kiryuu fashion, he still holds true that things will work out on their own. LOL!
Kujou was different then I expected. It seems there is a little bit more to him then just some popular guy. I am hesitantly curious to see where things go...
I guess it is fitting that a book about a girl whose memory resets every Monday does a story reset. The amnesiac, Kaori, was showing progress in remembering more details week to week until a transfer student turned out to be a boy from her past. The trauma of seeing him has pushed her back to a hard reboot every week, which is frustrating for her friend-with-a-crush Yuuki. So this book double-times as Yuuki tries to help her regain the lost ground while also investigating the transfer student to see whether he is some sort of villain returned to torment Kaori.
From the manga cliche bucket, we have a school culture festival with cafes, cosplay, and a haunted house. Also, some side characters start developing their own b-story romance.
Not a lot of forward progress is made, but this title remains a pleasant diversion.
This one was okay, nothing too special. I feel like it was alot of nothing happening. I thought we would get some action or info but we didn't. Just a bunch of fluff. I am hoping the next one gives me something or I might just give up on the series.
A very cute fast paced series. I woukd like to learn more about the past, but there are 3 more volumes sooo... I also am really happy that there is less and less 4 panel manga in each volume.
I really like this series. The principal characters (Yuki Hase and Kaori Fujimiya) are such good people that I cannot help liking them. The story revolves around the fact that Kaori completely forgets her friends every Sunday; the relationships must start from scratch every Monday (almost -- she keeps a diary). This was not always so, and this volume introduces the possibility that the cause of her weekly forgetting may be identifiable and perhaps correctable. I can't wait for volume 5!
I'm still loving this series but, this volume felt more like a build up for a big thing that's coming. I really feel that something of great emotional impact is coming in the next volumes and I just can't wait to know what it is. Mean while, i'll continue fangirling over the relationships in this series.
Emang sih dia ngga tahu sebetulnya masalahnya dimana tapi sikapnya arogan sekali 🙃
The story continues to be cute, although kind of repetitive (I mean, that´s the point) so it could get tiring. The new character that was introduced is just sort of there so the story is moving slowly.
This volumen takes a pause before going into the interesting part, who is that new classmate? , why he hates the girl? Instead we are shown how the boy regains the girl weekly friendship, and how they participate in the school festival.
I think it was this book or the third book where . Now that was pretty interesting, but it felt like it was just like volume 1, but Kiryuu and the other girl (sorry can't remember her name) had a teensy bit of romance, if any, but it was fun seeing their relationship grow and see their backstory to grade school.
