Liked this one but not as much as the first book, or the third book which was my favorite.

This one is still pretty good, has more gross out stories than full blown horror.

Some of my favorites was easily The Dancing Corpse, about two kids who find a decomposing corpse under a bridge. As they are about to call the police, one of the kids reveals that as you play music, the corpses starts violently spasming and moving, but how come?...

There's one about a girl who has a bad habit of sleep walking that leads to a deadly reveal, a new girl in school who arrives in time to hear her teacher talk about a zombie fungus infecting ants, and one about a guy who sees this giant black bird pecking at some roadkill that soon starts FOLLOWING him everywhere.

Overall, still a fun read.

I really loved this book, almost as much as I loved the first one! The entire Nightmare Soup series is proving to be a big hit for me! I could go on about how much I loved it, buuut to save some time considering all my reviews will probably be about how much I loved these books (LOL). Here’s my fave stories: The Dancing Corpse, Skin Soup, The Owl Man, Spore, The Watcher, & Hide and Seek!

Ps. Someone needs to fire the science teacher Mr. Anderson. That man is always getting those darn kids into a mess (& himself)

This books is suitable for juvenile aged readers and also a fun read for those of us adults interested in modern folklore. I would've loved a series like this as an 11-year-old. Art is fantastic, very original.

Very good for young horror readers!

If I had this book as a kid I’d be even more paranoid than I already am! This book is a great modern adaption of old urban legends

Fun and silly yet also kind of stupid and even though it attempts recapturing the magic of Alvin Schwartz/Stephen Gammell, it's just not the same!
