Angels come in different packages.

Single mom Spring is doing her best to raise her two-year-old daughter alone. She has no desire to date again, so is pleasantly surprised at her best friend’s wedding when a handsome man’s flirtations charm, instead of annoy her. But when her toddler runs up and calls her Mommy, she can tell by his reaction that her daughter is a deal-breaker. He can’t escape fast enough.

Hudson Sandel is proud of his bachelor status even as he attends his little brother’s wedding as best man. Too bad the only woman who tempts him has a daughter that rules her out. Instant fatherhood isn’t on his agenda. But when the kid throws a tantrum, he swoops in to help keep her from ruining his brother’s wedding. When the night ends, he can’t stop thinking about the gorgeous blonde’s expression when he played hero to her child. It made him feel uncomfortably good, and it doesn’t help that he keeps running into the angelic duo around town. Hudson knows Spring and her daughter are a package deal. The question is: Does he want to take on that responsibility, or will he stick to the road leading to professional success and glory?

Did not finish at 61%.

I guess I am not a fan of this whole star-crossed lovers theme. I am also not a fan of game playing and making people jealous. I was really hoping to like this book but alas... I did not.

Content: Moderate swearing. Moderate innuendo using crude remarks and actions.

Where to start this review?

Spring Flowers (yep, I just threw up in my mouth a little bit writing that name) and her two year old daughter Emma are attending the wedding of her best friend Brandee to her fiancee Nick. At the wedding Brandee warns Spring away from the best man, Nick's brother as he is a terrible person, a womaniser yadda, yadda.

Hudson Sandel is the aforementioned best man. He is instantly attracted to Spring, who he constantly refers to as an Angel, but is immediately put off when he finds out she has a child. Hudson's internal monologue at the wedding is really odd, he veered between speaking like a teenage boy, an Edwardian gentleman, the American idea of how the British speak, and a sleazeball. With the benefit of having read the entire book I think that Charissa Stastny was trying to portray Hudson as a shallow, workaholic, womaniser, only interested in the shiny outside. The only trouble is, I don't think she really committed to the portrayal as even at the opening wedding Hudson is kind enough to carry Emma around on his shoulders, while she yanks on his ears and calls him horsey, during dinner and the speeches. In my experience, a man who dislikes children would never do that. In fact even men who like children and have children of their own wouldn't do that.

And maybe I've just explained to myself what was wrong with this book. It's full of stock characters and unrealistic behaviour, from the chirpy, opinionated receptionist at Hudson's law firm, his sleazy colleague, his vampish client, Spring herself, Hudson's money-grubbing boss, Hudson's Gram, Spring's ex-husband, the list just goes on and on.

Early on Spring decides that Hudson has a Knight in Shining Armour complex and just has to help those in need, even when he categorically tells her he doesn't she just keeps trotting out the same ridiculous platitude, "Hudson doesn't love me, he has a saviour complex", or words to that effect.

Spring keeps telling Hudson she doesn't need saving, she can stand up for herself and frankly, she's delusional. She can't tell when the office sleazeball starts hitting on her and she does something VERY stupid. Overall, I thought Spring was one of life's natural victims, she can't tell the good guys from the bad guys, she won't take help and still thinks she doesn't need saving.

This is a clean romance (no warning on the cover) where the first kiss doesn't occur until 71% into my Kindle and veers a little into god bothering towards the end when Spring and Hudson start pontificating about God's will and his love which I could have done without.

Overall, I was hoping for a light, bubbly Lauren Layne-type romance or Sustained by Emma Chase, instead what I got was an unrealistic fantasy with a victim for a heroine and a nice guy pretending to be a shallow womaniser. Disappointing.

Hudson is a player and Spring? Well, she is not. Spring is firmly grounded in providing and caring for her daughter. Hudson is living the bachelor life to the fullest while climbing up the career ladder as a lawyer. They are at polar opposite places in life, with polar opposite ideas of what is important. And yet, attraction.

As Hudson and Spring keep running into each other at various places, Hudson helps with the monster two year old. He is some kind of two year old whisperer, I guess, but his toddler magic helps Spring and as a single mother, that is very attractive to her.

Hudson wasn't a character I liked every minute but it was extra satisfying to see his transformation as he began to regain perspective by helping Spring. He eventually remembered what was really important, what he really wanted to do when he started out as a lawyer and how helping others can make you feel whole.

I enjoyed the interactions between Hudson and Spring. They all occur in very normal and natural circumstances that we can all relate to. There was a very natural progression to their encounters and each one helped the characters move forward in some way. I'm so glad there was an epilogue which helped wrap everything up for me with a pretty bow. Yes, I'm a pretty bow girl. I was reading another series at the same time as this book and it left me hanging so the pretty bow wrap up was just what I was hankering for.

Content: mild swearing, innuendo, kissing, abuse (physical, emotional), bar scenes and drinking

I went into this book with high expectations, which was my first mistake. The book was okay-ish, but it was too sweet/cutesy for me to like it, and I feel like another person might like it, but The Package Deal just didn't hit the spot.

2.5...

Hudson and Spring met at a wedding and he was instantly attracted to her. In his eyes she's like an angel that he just couldn't help but want. But the attraction took a step back when he later met her two-year old daughter Emma. He doesn't want a baggage along with the angel.

I do understand Hudson not wanting the idea of babysitting another man's baby(his words). He's a bachelor and with not-so-good reputation and so his reaction was somehow understandable and acceptable. In fact I wished he was even badder than he was. I wish he really did everything to get away from the mother and daughter but he didn't so the idea of him really not wanting an instant fatherhood was lost. It would've been okay if the scene where he helped Spring with Emma was not in the same day they met. That way, the initial conflict of their romance was established first. Right? It's just hard to believe that a man's principle have changed in just a matter of hours. And all throughout the book, he didn't do anything that shows or support his initial dislike of having Emma in the story, WORSE, he keeps on saying over and over again that NO, he doesn't want a baggage...

Dude, Get over it. You're already caring. You already ignored your rules right from the very first day. Obviously I didn't like Hudson. Sadly I feel the same towards Spring. Spring Flowers? Seriously. i think it was meant to be amusing but it's not. Also why is she so naive? I mean she was already gone through a VERY bad relationship. In reality, a woman who went through THAT, would either be mentally/emotionally damaged OR turn to be stronger than she was before and definitely WISER. I know this is fiction, but still.

The only thing I liked in this book is Emma... She was a life-saver. A redeeming feature of this book. :):)

Though it seemed that I only talked about the characters, I said enough for you to guess the plot and everything else need reviewing. :)

Spring Flowers has been attracted to a man in a long while so when she someone at her best friends wedding who is flirty, funny and oh yeah sexy, she is pleasantly surprised. That is until one little word, morphs his face and changes everything. Mommy. A single mom, she sees it in his face he has zero inclination of a Package Deal.

Hudson Sandel is a high powered lawyer looking to make partner and not wanting to be at his half brother's wedding. Then he sees Spring. She is breath taking. BUT....she is a single mom. Red light. Stop sign. Do not enter. No matter how much he wants too.

Fate thought keeps having the two meet and soon he is together with her more and more, with the kid more and more. Grocery store, getting her a new job, on and on. Things are rolling along good. He is getting closer and closer to her and her kid.

Then his half brothers wife and him have a blow up and all is shot to shit.

Will he have what it takes to show he is all in? That he wants them BOTH. Will she let her pass and her insecurities ruin any chance of a HEA? Read on deal reader and you shall see.

Package Deal is a book about two very broken people that fall for each other. And then if that isn’t complicated enough, Spring the single mom in the story has a cute little daughter to add even more complication to the tale.
I loved the humor, romantic tension and witty banter in this book. Hudson is dreamy, yet has such real flaws you cant help but fall for him. Spring went through hell and came out broken but strong. And through it all she hasn’t turned bitter, she’s just cautious. Watching these two fall in love, and seeing them face the problems of that with a toddler in the middle was such a page turner. I lost a lot of sleep devouring this book.
Stastny once again brought an excellent read that had me lost in the story and sad to let the characters go once I finished the last page. To say I’m excited for the next book in this series would be a mayor understatement. Few have the ability to deliver such a fun, witty, swoon worthy book without being overbearing in one way. Satstny has perfect balance of all elements in these reads, making them memorable long after finishing them.

After some of the darker fiction I've read recently, it was nice to have something light and uplifting. Stastny is one of the few authors who can get me to read romance. Her prose is crisp and her dialogue entertaining, and her characters always have a depth to them that elevates the will-they/won't-they trope of romance novels into something more substantial.

In Package Deal, Hudson, a lawyer on track to partnership, falls head-over-heals for Spring, a young single mother, and her energetic toddler--two things that definitely weren't part of his life plan. Will he ignore his feelings and go down the career path he planned, or will he follow his heart instead? And will Spring be able to let him into their lives?

The scenes with Hudson interacting with Spring's toddler were funny and touching, and added an extra dimension to the love story. All in all an entertaining and fun read.

The littlest member of the package deal steals the show in this charming romance about finding out that three is not always a crowd—and that our hearts can always make room for one more person to love. Seriously, I loved Spring and eventually Hudson. (He's really a softie. You just don't know it at first.) I loved their slow-growing romance. But, little Emma really wrapped herself around my little finger. Don't get me wrong, this is totally a romance novel--but the scenes with the sweet little daughter will warm your heart. An excellent addition to the Ruled Out Romances series.

I got this from Kathy of ebooksforreview.com and iamareader.com. I've read a book of the same author before and I enjoyed it, so when I saw this one up for review from the same author, I decided to sign up. Thanks again Kathy for the ebook copy.

This is a story of a single mom who tries so hard to raise her two-year old daughter. Then, on her best friend's wedding, she met a very handsome and charming man but when he saw her daughter, he was disappointed. He definitely did not want any excess baggage.

Spring Flowers. What a cute name, right? Yes, that's the name of one of the main characters in this story. Her cute two-year old is Emma. And to complete the set of characters, we have Hudson Sandel, the handsome man who was smitten with Spring. To him, Spring would have been perfect if not for Emma being part of the package.

Spring and Hudson's first meeting is a meet-cute. Isn't it romantic to meet someone on a wedding? And Emma in all of her pint size personality threw a tantrum and Hudson came to the rescue which was not exactly what he planned, but he wanted so much to impress Spring. That gentlemanly act is what started to bring them together and there's no denying that Emma has a way of worming slowly into Hudson's heart.

There were a lot of cute and warm moments here, especially with Emma involved. She's just so cute with all her two-year old vocabulary and not yet able to pronounce words properly. She's one of the things that makes this story work and I can't help but fall in love with her also. Hudson also had a lot of moments here. He's just so sweet and caring. After meeting Spring and Emma, he realized what he's been missing in his life. He ended up doing a lot of sweet, generous, and kind things for the mother and daughter and not just because he wanted Spring to fall for him but because he wanted to make these two happy and make their lives easier. Ah, Hudson is just another book boyfriend one could wish for.

I give this book 5/5 cute little flower girl dresses. I really enjoyed the story. It was so cute that it made me swoon and wish for my own sweet Hudson. This is a feel good story though Spring and Emma's life was not perfect. Spring had to hurdle and overcome a lot of challenges in her personal life, career, and most especially in raising Emma. But her character is just so admirable that you can't help but root for her. Emma is her strength, so everything she does has to be all for the good of Emma. Even falling in love with Hudson has to be favorable to Emma. Fortunately, Emma has made sure that Hudson would fall in love with her also. She's just so adorable and oozing with cuteness, so Hudson was no match for this little devil. He was putty in her very small hands.

What's the hurry Spring? Is winter chasing you?

Forgiving means you let go of the bitterness poisoning you.

This is the best romantic comedy I have read in a long time. With the star of the show being 2-year-old Emma.

Spring felt complimented when a handsome man flirted with her at her best friend's wedding. That is until she sees his reaction to her daughter. Then she doesn't want anything to do with him.

Hudson likes being a bachelor and doesn't do relationships. And definitely doesn't do relationships including children. But the more time he spends with Spring and Emma, the more he's rethinking everything. He's a real jerk at first but turns out to be quite a likeable guy.

There is so much about this story that I really liked. When Spring falls for Hudson, she doesn't know that he is the "idiot brother" that her best friend can't stand. Since the friend is on her honeymoon, she can't ask her either. Emma was so cute - but was definitely a monster, as 2-year-olds tend to be a lot of the time. Then there is the suspense about what Hudson will do about his career. Will he marry the rich client like his boss wants him to or not? Will Spring give up on Hudson before he makes a decision?

I loved this story and especially the characters. Spring and Hudson tried to keep their distance (and hearts) from each other, but it didn't work. The descriptions of Emma's outbursts were exactly as a toddler would behave. And the way she had all the adults wrapped around her finger was priceless.

I am lucky that I received a copy to review so that I can tell everyone about this super book. Pick it up. You won't be disappointed.

i picked up this book because i was in the mood for a cute and light romcom and in my mind books with kids = cute books, but nope.

i really didn't like either of the two main characters, they were pretty shallow. spring is a single mom who spends the entire book trying to be independent and not look like a lady in distress, but somehow she always ends up being helped by hudson. and even when she acknowledges that he is hot and cold with her, couldn't help but fall in love with him. so we have Hudson, who has obviously been burned before and doesn't want anything serious, but is drawn to spring from the moment he sees her, until he realizes she has baggage. his words. even when he's not interested in having a relationship with her and being the father of another man's daughter, he lets the girl call him "daddy" and meddles in their lives, at the same time that he's thinking of marrying one of his clients because her power and money is beneficial to his legal career. cute.

also, i think the book is missing some trigger warings. there's domestic violence and rape (in the past; the first described by a friend, and the second as a flashback), and assault and harassment in the present.

so this had some fun moments and others that made me swoon, almost at the end and most was related to the family scene, but it wasn't enough.

This romance has lots of chemistry and sizzle. Hudson is a charming jerk at first. Spring is very wary of men after the abuse she suffered at the hands of her exhusband. Emma is a cute but very demanding 2 yr old and Spring's main focus. After meeting at her best friend's and his brother's wedding, the two keep running into each other. Hudson's brain and those around him tell him he wants one thing and his heart when he spends time with Spring and Emma tell him another. Hudson's hot and cold attitude with Spring makes her even more wary of him but she can't help but miss him. Will Hudson make up his mind on what he really wants before Spring puts too much distance between them? I really enjoyed reading this book. The romance was great. I had to warm up to the characters but once I did I loved them. Emma and her childhood antics made me laugh. I would recommend this book and plan on reading more of this author's books.

This great story really reminds us to never judge a book by its cover. So many misunderstandings and self reflecting experiences that bring about positive life choices. This is very well done and with just the right amount of suspense and humor. (I even had a “laugh out loud” moment.)

What did I do today?

Got sucked into this delightful romance novel about a man, a woman, and an adorable little monster angel.

Spring and Hudson meet at a wedding, sparks ensue until two year old Emma shows up yelling for her mommy. Hudson decides he is not a family kind of man, but then again who can resist a two year old and her pink lollipops?

It has been a wonderful afternoon as this fictional family worked its way together. I can hardly wait to see what is in store in the next Ruled Out Romance books.

Good read.

I really liked Spring. I liked that she had a lot of determination and would not give up on.

I thought Hudson was pretty dumb at first but as they story went on he got better. It turned out that even he didn't really know what he wanted. But he was willing to learn. He was really nice to the kid too.

I liked very much that the arrogant bum that dumped spring out in a bad neighborhood got at least some of what was coming to him.

It will keep your attention and moves right along.

Good story.

Sigh.... I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I started reading it in the late afternoon & had a hard time putting it down! Like the previous book in this series (Game Changer) the novel starts out & ends in the narrator style & each chapter shows from which viewpoint of the story your reading - his or hers.

I don’t like giving spoilers but here is a little bit about the two main characters.

Hudson - is adorable. If you like novels with swoon worthy hero’s then you’ll love this one. To be honest I started out reading the book almost unsure of whether I wanted to like him since he’s a bit arrogant & acts like a jerk initially. But as you read the story through you get to find out more of the “behind-the-scenes” reasons for this, but also we get to know the real Hudson as he rediscovers himself again & you get to see all of his finer qualities. If there are any fans of Disney’s movie “Tangled” reading this, then you’ll love him - I could truly envision Hudson as being Flynn Ryder. I loved the part when this was addressed.

Spring - is just like her name. Gentle & lovely, without a mean bone in her body yet strong & fiercely protective of her daughter (who is the cutest little monster out there). She is gorgeous both inside & out, smart & sassy but also has a few insecurities of her own, which, combined with Hudson’s, causes some trouble between the two.

The road to love never did run smoothly as the saying goes & that’s true for this story since both of them have to deal with past hurts & their insecurities in order to move forward. It has a feel good happy ending though, so no disappointments there.

Content: There is a lot of kissing & there are a few sections where sexual harassment takes place or is mentioned, but nothing too confronting. There are some sexual innuendos & some sexual encounters are referred to from the past but without being explicit.

I was given my copy of this book free in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed Package Deal. There’s a lot of meat in this adorble book!

My absolute favorite part of Package Deal was how complex the story is. It’s not just a fluffy romance. Spring and Hudson work through touchy topics such as unwanted advances, sexual harassment, spousal abuse, premarital sex, and cheating. Plus, that biggest one of all, getting over yourself to be a part of a family.

All in all, Package Deal is an amazing novel & I can’t wait to read more from Charissa Stastny!

I really enjoyed this fun funny read. Man meet girl, thinks she might be the one only to find she has a little girl of her own. Raising someone else child is a big turn off not in his plans, and he exits left only to find everywhere he turns the lady of his dreams and her little nightmare of a daughter is right before his eyes, now isn’t that just his luck. There are many misunderstandings as well as lots of fun twists and turns that kept me very well entertained. A little drama as well as pain and sorrow. The show stopper and stealer is one little girl who is just adorable with her charming ways of getting into trouble and her hero which is the white horse she rides on. All that is needed is one princess and one knight to get on the same page. If one sweet angel has her way they will be married before you can say sweet!

It isn’t your normal boy meets girl, and they live happy ever after. From Spring’s name to her darling little girl and the man everyone hates to her delightful friend who Spring promises to help keep the big bad brother away from stirring trouble at the wedding it was a delightful charming clean read that holds your attention and keeps you invest. I loved the plot, as well as how the author twists it from misunderstandings to deeds as well as sticking one big foot in your mouth time after time. There are some big surprises for our characters that kept me smiling and laughing my way through. I loved the chemistry between Spring and Hudson you could feel the sparks, they did their best to put distance between them but it just wasn’t in the cards. There really were wonderful characters that really got off on the wrong foot and kind of stay on that foot for a while. The supporting characters are wonderful Brandee just steals my heart and then breaks it, but she comes right back and really makes me love her. She and Hudson has one heart melting scene that just about had me in tears as well as some very touching scenes between Emma and Hudson that just totally melts my heart.

The author knows how to pull her reader in she had me laughing, smiling, yelling, saying a few bad words as well as just about in tears at one time. Romance that makes you swoon, mouth dropping moments, a few shockers, sexy men and sassy women that know how to stand their ground, the author gives you a little of everything. I really didn’t want the story to end. I thought it was worth my time and a book I will read again and again.

This was hilarious. First, the character list.
Spring: Spring (with a ridiculous last name I'm just going to skip writing) is a sweet heroine, incredibly loyal to her child, Emma, traumatized (and thus wary), and more than a little blind/obstinate. She drove me crazy a few times, , as well as deciding Hudson has a savior complex and discounting him based on that. However, overall she is a likeable heroine. She has problems she is trying to overcome, and does so quite admirably.

Hudson: Hudson is hilarious. Or perhaps I should say, Hudson-and-Emma are hilarious. Hudson is a playboy, assuming a loose definition of playboy. He doesn't sleep around much at the point that we see him, though he is straightening out his priorities. He *apparently* doesn't like Emma at first, and alternates between avoiding Emma like the plague and putting up with more than I would have (and I LIKE kids) to get out of a wedding. However, as a general rule, Hudson comes across as human. He's struggling with his own problems and trying to figure out what he wants out of life, all while trying to make friends with Spring. That makes for an interesting story.

Emma: A two year old tyrant. An absolutely hilarious tyrant. Her and Hudson get along quite well, and it is highly amusing.

Despite some of the (fairly minor) inconsistencies, I loved this book. Spring and Hudson are realistic, as are Emma and Hudson. The problems between Spring and Hudson never seemed contrived or forced, which I appreciated, and the book made me laugh. I'd highly recommend this.

I received an ebook copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Look, I know this book won't change the world. It won't bring world peace, and it won't bring any sudden revelation for anyone. It won't change anyone's lives. It has its problems, which I could easily talk about, including how it works with all the tropes and don't even try to bring anything new to it.

I know all of that, seriously. I was aware of it all as I was reading the book. I could pinpoint everything that was wrong with it.

And yet, sometimes my mind needs mindless, problematic romcom and I can't help it, I literally flew threw this book. It's not going to be a favorite of mine, but it was a light, fun read that I enjoyed and with how flickery my reading mood has been in the past couple of months, and how I am still coming out of a reading slump and I feel like one bad book can kick me back into the slump, I am happy I read this and enjoyed it so much.

I liked the first book of the series better, though, in this one I felt the mushy was pushed to the limit, especially at the last 20% of the book. Also, the female main character's naivity was through the roof.

Still, if anyone is interested in a quick, light-hearted book that requires no brain work, I'd recommend it for sure.

This was a very sweet fairy-tale sort of romance. Hudson doesn’t think he’d ever be interested in a woman who has a child, but he’s quickly won over by Spring and her two-year old toddler, Emma. At first all he sees is the terrible twos tantrums that Emma throws, but he soon falls for how cute she is. He keeps helping Spring out even to the point of taking care of poopy diapers. But they watch some Disney movies together and soon he and Spring, barring a few complications, are making their own fairy-tale romance as she rescues him from being a cold-hearted attorney just out for scoring wins for rich female clients.
Maybe it is the mom in me, but I was a bit irritated that Hudson kept giving Emma candy even after Spring asked him not to. And I found it a bit hard to believe that the senior partner basically told Hudson to prostitute himself for a rich female client. It’s all a bit too cartoonish for the bad guys.
But it’s all very sweet and it was refreshing to see Hudson soften up as he starts to fall in love with Emma and her mother.
I was given a free ARC of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review

Spring's best friend,, Brandee warns Spring about her new husband's brother. Hudson, a hard shelled attorney, is believed to be a womanizer and only out for himself. Hudson falls for an angel, Spring, but wants to steer clear of her since she has a two year old daughter. Spring had been abused by her ex-husband and is wary of men. Although she is attracted to Hudson, she quickly realizes that he initially considers Emma as baggage. Hudson is drawn to the sweetness of Spring and eventually Emma. When Spring has problems, Hudson quickly rushes into help. Spring doesn't want a man who blows hot and cold, views her as a damsel needing rescuing, and might be dating a wealthy ex-divorcee. Hudson is on the fast track and isn't sure that about the pull he feels for his angel. I liked the three main characters: Spring, Hudson, and Emma. I was given a copy of this book from Net Gallery. This is my honest and voluntarily given review. Overall, I like the book. I probably would rate it as a 3+ or a 4-. I thought that the book could be a little shorter and more enjoyable with tighter editing.

I haven't read anything but this author so decided to give this series a try. I read this book first, before book 1, but they are all stand alone books so it didn't matter.

Cute story but no alot of depth or even realistic at times. I didn't like the main character Hudson at first but eventually liked him by the end because of how sweet he ended up being to Spring's daughter. I liked the main character Spring but felt her name was over the top. Lots of romance but nothing explicit. Bad language through out which is why I gave it 4 stars because I felt it was unnecessary and didn't add to the story line.

I couldn't figure out why these books are called "Ruled Out Romances" series but here's how the author describes it:
In this new series of stand-alone romances, star-crossed lovers meet, but rule each other out for various reasons. But life, with its quirky twists and tangled turns, keep bringing each of the unlikely duos together until they discover their unique happily-ever-afters.

Cute story that I read in one night. I received a copy of this ebook complimentary for blog and social media review. All opinions are my own.

I really enjoyed this book! Single mom Spring is doing her best to raise her two-year-old daughter alone. She didn't have an easy start. Her ex was an ass and if it were up to him, her little cherub wouldn't even exist. But no matter what mistakes she might have made in life, Spring knows her baby girl is not one of them. Hudson Sandel is a proud bachelor. Standing beside his baby brother on his wedding day is not an easy thing for him, especially since Hudson and the bride cannot stand each other. But as far as weddings go, this one could be worse... as Spring catches Hudson's eye, he sees an angel and actually has fun with her. Finding herself the center of a handsome man's attention does wonders to Spring's confidence until her baby girl finds them and Hudson's face twists in pain. She had no plans to date again, and his reaction to her child just confirmed her conviction that she is better off alone. But fate has other plans and while it keeps throwing these two unlikely partners together, laughs, chemistry and love blossoms in their purest form. A charming tale of love, family, friendship and sexy times.

I think this was a good story about a humble, kind loving single mum who had a terrible experience with love, I liked reading about Spring and I did laugh at her full name, she then finds it difficult to trust a man again and doesn’t want to be a damsel in distress person. I also found Hudson’s character interesting and intriguing to read he was a guy that was real and this type of guy exists. This book would have been better if it included God as the two main characters needed healing from God and sadly God doesn’t get any credit for the love they experience at the end and the fact that it wasn’t fate that brought them together it was God who brought them together, but I was glad that God did get mentioned at the end when it comes to forgiveness God is the answer and both characters believe their is a God but throughout the story they don’t pray or mention God only at the end so I think God should have been mentioned throughout the story instead of just the end. Overall a beautiful read, some unexpected things happen and it’s a page turner once you start reading you can’t stop and I like that in a book it kept me interested for more!

Love this book. Love Spring and Hudson’s romance story. This book starts at Spring best friend’s and Hudson’s brother’s wedding. Hudson starts to flirt with her but later on finds out Spring has a child and is a single mom. He then goes to complain about her to his brother. Spring is having a hard time calming her child down, so Hudson goes over to try to help. Which does help Spring. Spring and Hudson see each other again at the grocery store. Spring is buying healthy foods while Hudson is buying junk food. He ends up buying Spring’s daughter a lollipop but Spring ends up taking the lollipop which makes her daughter mad. Spring ends up giving in to her daughter. The third time they meet is at a playground. This is where Spring’s daughter starts calling Hudson daddy. Both Spring and Hudson try to correct her daughter by telling Spring’s daughter that Hudson isn’t her dad. Hudson finally tells them that he could be a Sugar daddy. Overtime Hudson starts falling in love with Spring and her daughter. He understands that they are a package deal. Love how they end up together. Worth the read.
