About the author

Growing up in North West England and in Germany, Anna wrote plays about talking animals, and stories about naughty children, and drew on every available surface. After school, she did an Art Foundation course, then a degree in German Literature & Philosophy at Oxford University. Nagyon aranyos képi világú ismeretterjesztő könyv, amiben sok-sok kihajtható rész is van, rövidebb szövegekkel. Nyilván a legmenőbb a traktor benne, amiben a gazda a kutyusával együtt ül. De két nagy kihajtós pajta ajtón keresztül beleshetünk a tehenek közé is, megleshetjük mit ropogtatnak a kecskék, kik bújnak meg a kacsamama szárnya alatt, és még a föld felett és föld alatt termő növényekről is megtudunk ezt-azt. A legjobb a végén a farm boltja, aminek a részletes képén rengeteg böngésznivaló akad. :)

We love this series. Even though it is appropriate for toddlers, preschoolers and even kinder and first grade kiddos will enjoy these books. The pages are sturdy but without a board book feel. The illustrations are whimsical but I do wish they were actual photographs. Nonetheless, still an engaging books with surprises throughout. Of all the books we have of this series I would say this is by far my daughter’s favorite. The thought that has been put into the design of these books is amazing.

We bought this book from an Usbourne consultant. All Usbourne materials are just excellent. The book is interactive with "peak inside" flaps. Great children's book.
