To date, I have read all of Crimson's books.
As of today, DREAMS BY THE FIRE is her best one yet!
Short, sweet, SEXY as SIN and totally naughty!
I loved the story of Holly and Logan.
Their chemistry was SOOOO HOT!!!
It was just what I wanted to read this close to Christmas Eve!
Looks like Syn just keeps getting better and better :)

It took a while to get there, but DANG this was one hot little holiday read! Ten years ago, Logan got his first glimpse of a young Holly. She was skinny dipping in the lake that bordered his property and he couldn't take his eyes off her. Or stop his body's reaction to her. He ends up crushing on her hard... and she doesn't even know he exists. Fast forward to now and she's back in town, recovering from a broken heart, and Logan seizes his chance. She puts up a fight but he was one persistent man and he wasn't stopping until she was his.
If you like Daddy kink, you'll like this story. It's not heavy into the kink but it's there and it's as erotically pleasing as can be expected from the naughty Crimson Syn.

Although this was not my cup of tea, well mostly because I can't stand the "call me daddy" reads, I will say that this book was exceptionally written with a storyline that will capture your attention and not release it until you've reached the oh so wonderful ending.
The characters were well written and quite developed and admittedly likable. Holly is sweet, although a little broken because of the treatment from her soon to be ex-husband.
Logan is older, but he is one fine specimen of a man. Ex-military, shop owner, and all around hot as sin man, he has had his sights set on Holly since she was a teenager, so much so that he never had a girlfriend or even married because he was waiting for her to return. And then she does, and when she does he sets out to make her his.
This is a fast paced story, and although I was turned off by the "daddy/baby girl" terms, (my problem not the book's), this is a wonderful story and I am positive that others would like this short story. (4 1/2 stars)

I love Crimson's Hellbound Lovers series, so so much, so I do tend to recall that when I read other of her books, Good but it was not my fave of hers, If you like "Call Me Daddy" kind of reads, you will love this one so so much! Great ending, quick read for me, erotic holiday festive story, lots of chemistry, check it out! ( ;

4 1/2 delicious stars. This is a very well written erotic holiday novella. The author included some of my holiday favorites: family, friends, snow, love by the fire and of course sexy romance. The story has a bit of the taboo factor as well, in that we have an older man with a younger woman (but not by extreme numbers).
Logan took over his grandfather's hardware store in a small lakeside town. He spent time there as a young man, which is when he first saw Holly. Holly spent summers with her parents at their cabin on the lake. As a young girl, Holly had stuck down to the water to go skinny dipping after midnight, that is then Logan first saw and fell hard for Holly. Our story takes up 10 years later when Holly has come back to her parents cabin for a much needed escape. And oh what an exciting escape it turns out to be.
The book has a very sexy storyline that I enjoyed very much. My only complaint, would be the uses of the terms Baby Girl and Daddy. While I can see the erotica value, for me it takes away from the overall romance factor. But again that is just a “Me thing.” I would still recommend Dreams by the Fire to anyone looking for a good holiday erotic story that is well written and has yummy characters to boot. 2 Thumbs Up!

This was my first book by this author. I enjoyed the writing and the premise was predictable but still a fairly good read. Truth is I am not a fan of “daddy kink.” So why buy this book, you ask? It was actually free. That, and it was a Christmas Romance. The only frustration I had was that there were a lot of editing issues. Words missing, sentences were repeated for example. Unfortunately that took some of my reading enjoyment away. That said, the heat factor and intimacy were scorching. You could literally feel the chemistry between Holly and Logan. This was a quick read and the added epilogue gave more enjoyment. Would I try another book from this author? Yes I would.
This is my unbiased and honest review. Thank you for reading it. :)

Fast forward 10 years and Holly goes back to her childhood cabin to get away from an abusive ex-boyfriend that keeps stalking her. She goes to the store that Logan owns and he knows right away she’s the girl he’s been waiting for from all those years ago. Holly is fairly resistant because of her abusive ex, which does show up, but Logan handles him.
These two have a lot of chemistry, especially when Holly gives in to it. You get a steamy daddy, baby girl book that’s a safe read with baby batter, an epilogue, babies and an hea. Great holiday read.

Dreams by the Fire will have you smiling. An alpha man obsessed with a girl who becomes a woman. He’s never forgotten her and will wait until his last breath for her. She doesn’t even know the secrets this man has, and she’s scared to believe all the beautiful things he says to her. Overall a good book. I must say I’m not typically too into older man/younger women books. They usually turn into call me daddy which I don’t like. Luckily this one was some what light in the daddy department and wasn’t too thrown off by it. I did like both characters and the quick connection. I liked he was willing to go above and beyond for her. Plus it had a nice ending and I thought the cover was cute.

Oh man, this was a very steamy Christmas book. I loved this older alpha hero and his dedication to the much younger heroine. This is a short read and it mentions their Daddy/baby girl relationship a few times, but it’s not “in your face”, if you’re not into that type of story. For me, it was great!

I FREAKIN LOVED THIS BOOK! Logan Garland is the epitome of the alpha male. Talk about wet your panties set your crotch on fire. WOW! This book is so smokin hot. The chemistry between Logan and Holly is off the charts. One summer night while out hunting a deer Logan comes across a young girl skinny dipping in the moonlight in the lake near his Grandfather's cabin. He instantly falls in love with this girl and never forgets about her and prays that one day he'll see her again and get to make her his. And low and behold, unfortunately Holly goes through a terrible experience and fortunately for Logan she has to get away so she retreats to her Grandparents cabin to find herself again. When Logan sees Holly again he falls head over heels and will except nothing less than getting her in his bed and life forever. This story is romantic and very sexy. At times I cried and my heart went out to Holly and also to Logan. His Grandfather meant everything to him. To Holly, Logan is her knight in shining armor. He has to rescue her on more than one occasion. I could not put this book down and the ending is perfect. My only complaint about this book is it was not near long enough. I NEED more. Crimson your killin me! Lol. I received this book as an arc and I Highly recommend this book to everyone. Thanks again Crimson. You just just keep getting better and better. Oh and before I forget. This is the second book in the sinful holidays series. Normally I love Crimson’s books but this one was iffy for me. I’m not big on when the main female, Holly calls the guy Daddy. Then there was how the guy, Logan was kind of obsessed with the main female. I did like parts of the story a lot. I liked that when she needed something he was there. I think I would have liked the story much more if he would have just taken it a bit slower with her. There was an intense attraction between Holly and Logan. The book was very steamy and it does have a happy ending. I look forward to reading more books by Crimson in the future even though I wasn’t crazy about this one. I have read almost all her books and recommend them highly.

Then there was how the guy, Logan was kind of obsessed with the main female. I did like parts of the story a lot. I liked that when she needed something he was there. I think I would have liked the story much more if he would have just taken it a bit slower with her. There was an intense attraction between Holly and Logan. The book was very steamy and it does have a happy ending. I look forward to reading more books by Crimson in the future even though I wasn’t crazy about this one. I have read almost all her books and recommend them highly.

I usually LOVE Crimson's stories so when I saw she had this holiday freebie I grabbed it. I'm in a holiday reading mood so started the other night. I knew it would be a quick dirty read. What I didn't expect is the number of editing issues. Almost every other sentence had an issue. So many times there were incorrect word choices or missing words that made the story flow become interrupted. Then there were issues of repetition and redundancy over and over again. All of these issues lead to a less than stellar story. The story could be amazing, but its hidden behind so many issues that I personally couldn't look past. If errors don't bother you, you might enjoy this story more then I did.
Please for the love of God, have another set of eyes go through this story.

This story is short, fast paced and festive. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I really liked Logan’s love for Holly. He knew for ten years that she was the one for him and even when she wasn’t around, he didn’t move on to somebody else. I liked Holly. I understood her fear of accepting Logan’s love, but I wanted her to give him a chance. The chemistry between Logan and Holly was clear to see. Overall, I enjoyed this short story. I was satisfied throughout and wasn’t once bored.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and a nice read. I cannot wait for more from Crimson Syn. I need Gunner’s book now!

Dream By the Fire
Let me start by saying that I absolutely LOVED this book. It’s a short story that is fast paced and flows well. I only gave it 3 stars because the author kept referring to the dog as both a male and a female. There we some typos, misspelled words and a couple of sentences that had key words missing. Also in the course of the book little details kept changing. I.e. at first Logan’s cabin had 2 love seats but later on they stretched out on his couch. Little things like that bother me. A good editor and beta reader would go a long way in fixing these minor issues. Overall it’s a great book. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

The couple is cute, and the hero makes you root for him throughout the story, but it takes almost the entire story for the heroine to finally give up being hard headed…could’ve either been a shorter story, or given more time to them as a couple vs. her fighting against him for the duration. I don’t regret reading it, again, it was cute. But, just a long story for the inevitable to happen.

Holly decides to escape life and go to her grandfather’s cabin, and the last thing she expects is to encounter hot and sexy lumberjack Logan. Logan has had an obsession for Holly for the past 10 years, and is determined to convince her that they are meant to be together. This is a hot Christmas romance story, and I highly recommend all of this authors’ work for all readers!

This was a short read. Wasn't that impressed with it. It used the wrong word quite a few times. It would also be talking about a truck and in the same paragraph call it a truck then a car and then a truck again. The chapter were told from the point of view of the two main characters which I liked but in at least one chapter they had the wrong name. This was just an ok read.

As with everything else I've read by Crimson, I'm in love! This was a quick read for me, because much like our characters, I fell in insta-love and couldn't put it down. I was never one to care much for insta-love, but Crimson writes it fast, passionate, and raw and I couldn't stop if I wanted to!! If you love passionate characters and steamy love, you want to pick up this book!!!
