Deadknobs And Doomsticks is a collection of twelve illustrated short horror stories. Well I wasn't sure what to expect with this book, I really brought it on a whim and the fact the title made me laugh.
This book is made up of 13 short stories, some are extremely short like a page or 2.
I think the book could of been better, the stories could of used more padding out. You just started to get into a story and it was over , on to something completely different. I'm not really sure what else I can say about the book. It's not the best book I've read but probably not the worst either. If you want a quick read that entails minimal thinking this is the book for you. It certainly is not a horror stories book as stated in the back of the book. Slightly dark but not horror.

This was a pretty BAD book. As a collection of short stories, I figured it would be interesting. I'm in a horror mood, and it says it was a horror collection. I was WRONG. I listened to the audiobook through hoopla, which was read by the author. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS! Whoever was in charge of the audio had s*** for recording because the audio is whiny, whistling, and just plain bad! Will not read (or listen) to anything by this author ever again.
