Fated Mate #2

Fated to Fall

Rate this book
Blaidd went slightly insane witnessing the small human being abused by her mate. He didn’t care that he was on a foreign planet, as he swiftly ended the vile male. All that mattered was soothing the heart rending pain that radiated from the trembling female. But despite Blaidd’s best intentions, nothing he did for Vivian went right. His obligations on Earth, the brewing turmoil among his Lupercalia pack, and the dawning realization Vivian was meant to be his, had Blaidd chasing his tail.

Vivian was living her worst nightmare, and she couldn’t seem to wake up. The last thing she wanted was to drag the Good Samaritan who rescued her into her mess. Except Vivian was the one flung headlong down the rabbit hole. Even though Blaidd promised to take her home when things on Earth calmed, everything that happened made her question the alien werewolf’s intent. Yet with each misadventure Vivian found herself falling in love with the imposing man and his charming world. Till reality came crashing down, and Vivian wondered if she was just fated to fall.

Thank you for your interest in my fairy tales.

Here's to the imagination and a little daydream.

Writing is my hobby. As a child, I had a hard time learning to read, so anything I took an interest in was deemed acceptable. I have always enjoyed fairy tales, the older unsanitized versions, as well as the modern ones, mythology, science fiction, action and romance. As I read, my mind wanders, spinning its own tales. So, I figured I’d share my ramblings with you.
The books I write contain little snippets from my life. I leave it to you to decide which scenes are fact, fiction, or a bit of both. I am far braver and bolder than is likely sensible, so my heroines are just as gutsy. I'd probably be categorized as an adrenalin junky. My life has been an adventure. I've done archaeology in the hot sun, am well versed with power tools, took Tae Kwon Do in college, have ridden on a Harley with a dark stranger, but never met an alien, vampire or shifter, that I know of.
My stories are tawdry, feature a heroine who is gifted in some way, and will always end happily ever after. It is my opinion this is meant to be entertainment, and a depressing ending is not entertainment. Real life offers enough depressing crap. However, I have been called dark.
My apologies for my horrific grammar. It is something I struggle with. It is probably connected to the slow reading thing. Believe me people have tried. I truly hope that my fairy tales make up for it.

Blaidd book is finally here!!!
I have been waiting for this book patiently (not) for the last 12 months! And it was totally worth it, as always Ms. West brings out the good, the bad and the funny. I loved her h, always strong and willing to growth through out the book; and Blaidd… he give us a completely different side of his personality, sweet, patient and always strong for his Prima, (as it should be). He new when to control and when to let that control go.
I love this author, an as always I’m looking forward to Serus and Stella, (or Josephine and Coal, or Kara and Lyr) I’, really not that picky 😊

This follow-up was not as strong as the first book. Now focused on a different species in their galaxy, the H finds an Earth-girl who is mate-worthy. But he's pretty much a dumb alpha-hole for much of the book. The end of the story is exciting, but even then the machinations seemed forced.

There are possibilities for additional books in the series, and I'll probably read the next one in hopes that it returns to the earlier intensity and sexiness.

Space werewolf, team jacob..lol

I'm on the fence!!.. I loved and hated this book, my frustration with Vivian was immense. She was a victim of abuse, and then when out from under that life she seemed to become the abuser. But she knew it, and I guess I could understand she really was a mess that just couldn't help but lash out. Then there was the " I'm broken and we can't be together, ugh, right when things seemed to be getting better , and back on track. Honestly I was glad when blaidd had enough and put his foot down. It was a roller coaster of f*** ups and it just aggravated me to my limit sometimes with the issues that if these two knuckle heads had talked about could have saved a lot of heartache and struggle. but I enjoyed every minute of it. Excited for the next stories to come in the series

I am a bit disappointed. I felt Blaidd was not who he was in first book. I felt so confused because I hoped to see that asshole we saw throughout first book.

Okay, If he would have changed somewhere on the way but he became this self doubting beta male literally the moment he met her.

h was abused by her husband and how fast she overcame her 2,5 years of traumatizing abuse is just baffling. Also there was so little information about her relationship and I felt she didn't talk about it, she just fell in love with Blaidd and bam the end.

I liked this book more than the first. I think the first book was too long with not enough continuous action. This was much more fast paced.

I absolutely love your books!!!!

I loved the first AND second book in this series!! I get so tired of reading a page or two in so many alien books , and then just having to stop after 2 or 3/pages because they are ridiculous, stupid, or downright horrible, but no worries with your books...they are well written and typos are very few, the action is great and there is a wonderful plot that includes great sex, not just sex with no story!!!! I truly enjoyed your writing, your imagination is amazing, I am so glad I found your books and I will absolutely recommend your books!!!! Also the note at the end of this book is close to my heart and I have never seen that done in a fiction book, it was perfect and appreciated. Ms.West, I have found a new favorite author, thank you!! P.S. LOL write fast!!!!

Exciting

Wow! Where has THIS author been all my life? This was an exciting and adorable space drama, full of betrayal, unknown enemies, kidnappings and a couple falling in love in the midst of the madness. I could not put it down.

DNF 20%. I read the first book of this series and there were a lot of problems with it, but the plot was OK-ish, so I finished it. I started reading this knowing that this asshole murders someone rather violently and kinda wanted to see how that was treated. The answer: horribly.

She is way too calm minutes after being abducted. Chapter two she's absolutely terrified of him. Chapter four she's justifying his actions. I mean, he murdered her husband in front of her (the guy was abusive, but a murderer isn't much better, is he? specially considering they didn't kill a single guard in the first book, at least on page, so he could absolutely have just knocked the guy unconscious), and he kidnapped her and now he's keeping her prisoner, and also the perv went through her underwear, but she's excusing him because he's alien royalty? Because he's keeping her "safe"? After mere minutes of interaction with anyone, mind you. Him and his mother. One short conversation with each. Also, she's been abused for years by her husband, it's completely illogic that she screams at people, specially males, let alone throw things at them. And even with her very valid and logical reasoning of why she wants to come back to earth, they basically dismiss her worries like she's stupid and everyone else knows better.

Blaid meets his Prima

Blaid of the. Lupricalia manages to find his Prima on a mission to assist Nameless, Serus and Harper as they hunt for Nox and Agrippa, as well as meet the parents.

This book was much lighter than book 1 and had me chuckling every so often with Blaid’s antics which after his exploits in book 1, were not surprising. Right off the bat he forgets himself when they do in fact meet Harper’s parents and the little hellion, Milo. Blaid then stumbles onto Vivian and her abusive husband. Blaid proves to be honorable and rescues Vivian by kidnapping her back to Torvus, OOPS!

It was nice to get to know a lot of the Lupricalia introduced in book 1 as well as new characters added. I highly recommend picking up any of Ms. West books as she weaves excellent worlds to enjoy.

Another winner , and looking forward to the next book !!!

I totally enjoyed this story of Blaiid, the Primitus of the Lupercania, the wolf like species on Torva. He and Nameless from the previous book, end up on earth, and Blaiid, of course, does Not fit in !!!
He ends up rescuing a female that was being abused, and things really take off from there !!!
Lots of action , and amazing looks into the Lupercanian society, and I was totally invested in what happened to Vivian , and Blaiid, and the on going search for the former Kral, with Harper Nameless, and his newfound family , and the place that Blaiid calls his home. There is so much more to the story , so I am looking forward to the next book in this series !!!! Very great story !!!!

Fated to Fall

After watching the MMC in the first book, it was really fun getting to know him in this book. He is brash and impulsive and makes a lot of mistakes, but his intentions are good. He sets up a nice contrast between himself and the MFC’s ex who was a batterer. Intentions do matter when they do similar controlling actions.

Upon watching a show similar to Judge Judy,

“If I did a poor job keeping my mate happy, and she ruined everything I owned, I don’t think I’d announce it to everyone,...”

I just thought this was an interesting statement. We punish people for ruining things, not being terrible partners which seems really odd. And yet the MMC spends the whole story trying to figure out what makes the MFC happy.

When I realized Blaidd got his own story I couldn't believe it. He was a disgusting, abhorrent male in the first book of the series. I thought for certain he would end up being killed off not getting his own mate??? All the things he said and did to Harper and Vore in the previous book ruined any possibility of him being redeemable for me. Out of curiosity I read a few chapter of Fated to Fall and his character did a complete 180... I wouldn't call it growth as much as being completely rewritten. He's the reason for so many problems in Nameless Fate I don't know how anyone could find him likable. He doesn't deserve a mate.

Loved!!!!

Loved loved loved!!! The characters in these books are fantastic, and the storyline in this one was even better than the last. It showcases their personalities much more than book one. Though that is to be expected since they were in a prison in book one. Blaidd is hilarious, in both books by Vivian brings out the best in everyone she encounters throughout the entire book, even though she goes through so much she is still very strong and fed up at her core. Their story is incredible and after that epilogue I very much look forward to the next one as well!

Good second book in the series although there were a few things that I found frustrating the biggest was the main female Vivian started out as a weak quiet character and as soon as she was rescued by Blaidd and taken to his home world she became this aggressive dominant woman and to me the change was just to extreme in such a short period of time. But I have to say I loved the twist and turns in the plot the villain was a bit of a surprise. I would recommend it. So far it’s great series I can’t wait for Serus and Stellas story.

Amazing!

I have waited and waited for this book to come out! OMG, I hope you continue with this series! I've read your other books except the MC books. I am alien fan reader. Your depth in character writing is amazing and how you draw in the reader. I loved the part when Umi was holding purple the first time and described the bugged out eyes of the new pet, from her holding the pet a little to tightly. I for one, rescued pets from kids a few times and this made me smile.

Loved it!

I could not put this book down. I completely forgot it was coming out so imagine my surprise when amazon email me about its release 3 days ago 😒. I digress, oh how I throughly enjoyed this book! From the playful banter to the sex to the action. It had me walking around at 6:30am on the edge reading to find out how it all ends. And there will be a fated mate 3??? *throws pre order money at the author*

Ok. I think things improved a bit from the first book. But there were a few gaps in the reasoning for almost everything - going back to earth, the reasoning for the betrayal, why she suddenly decided to overcome her trauma (without help or closure) and give an admitted controlling alpha male a chance. She was a bit of a shallow heroine in my opinion. Not bad but not great either

After to Fall

Blaidd annoyed me in the last book but having gotten his backstory I admit his character grew on me. Then Vivian , being caught up in a no win situation, was in my wheelhouse.

“Wanting to Find Her Smile Again”

Fated to Fall is an amazing sci-fi romance! It has intrigue, betrayals, alpha males, an abused heroine who rediscovers her self & her strength, and heat, lots of heat. Excellent Stephanie West series!
