Another funny as hell volume.

This starts off with Iori having his classmates come to his house to prove he isn't living with Chisa...and you know hilarity is bound to explode on this story front. The rest of the volume deals with buying new diving equipment, and then going on vacation together. I really liked the fact Cakey (Aina) gets to shine here. You learn a little about her background this time around and this volume ends on a pretty great emotional moment.

The volume is once again funny. There's one sleeping situation that actually made me burst out laughing as well as Aina talking about her dream coming true only to have it ruined a moment later, I laughed so loud I scared my daughter.

If I'm stressing or having a bad day, this is the manga to fix me up. A 4 out of 5.

Egzaminy poprawkowe zaliczone (może nawet zdane) pora więc myśleć o spędzeniu wesoło czasu wolnego. Chwila relaksu jest przecież wskazana, bo życie studenta potrafi być mocno stresujące. Nie ma ku temu lepszej okazji niż zaplanowany (tomik trzeci) wyjazd integracyjny na Okinawę. W tym niebywale urokliwym miejscu można połączyć przyjemne z pożytecznym, czyli wypoczynek i zdanie egzaminu na licencję płetwonurka. Zanim jednak plan zostanie zrealizowany, trzeba wybrać się na małe zakupy i zdobyć potrzebne środki na opłacenie wycieczki.
Jeśli miałbym krótko scharakteryzować czwarty tomik serii, to zdecydowanie można o nim napisać: jeszcze więcej humoru, szaleństwa, głupkowatych akcji i o dziwo całkiem dużo nurkowania. Biorąc pod uwagę tematykę mangi, nie powinno to być nic nadzwyczajnego. Jeśli jednak ktoś miał do czynienia z poprzednimi tomikami to wie, że niekoniecznie był to najważniejszy element tytułu. Bohaterowie owszem dość często nurkowali, ale w procentach. Wyprawa na Okinawę staje się więc dla autora chwilą, kiedy może on skupić się na pokazaniu podwodnego piękna i umieścić w tytule kilka informacji na temat tego sportu.
Nie oznacza to jednak, że Grand Blue #4 skupia się tylko na nurkowaniu. Tytuł zatraciłby swoje „szaleństwo”, gdyby brakło tutaj alkoholu, nagich umięśnionych męskich pośladków (bez złych skojarzeń) i masy głupkowatych żartów. Tego rodzaju elementy znalazły się w tutaj w optymalnej ilości. Nic więc nie zmienia się w poziomie warstwy humorystycznej, która nadal prezentuje się wyśmienicie. Trzeba jednak być świadomym tego, że żarty rodem z zakrapianych imprez, momentami przekraczające popularną teraz „poprawność”, nie każdemu będą musiały przypaść do gustu. Jeżeli jednak kogoś „nie odrzuciły” pierwsze dwa tomy serii i nadal się nią interesuje, to nie znajdzie on tutaj niczego, co mogłoby go nagle mocno zaszokować. Nie jest to również pozycja, po którą należy sięgnąć, jeśli chce się oddać lekturze mocno wciągającej fabuły. Cała zaserwowana tutaj historia od samego początku była dość przeciętna. Siłą serii zdecydowanie jest humor i to on zachęca czytelnika do sięgania po kolejne wydawane tomy.
Nic nie zmienia się w oprawie graficznej tytułu, która nadal prezentuje się wyśmienicie. Projekty postaci czy podwodne lokacje to prawdziwe mistrzostwo, do którego nie można mieść żadnych nawet najmniejszych zastrzeżeń. Tak jak zostało to już wspomniane, trzeba się przygotować na dawkę golizny i pewne dość mocno przerysowane elementy, jednak nadaje to Grand Blue #4 tylko jeszcze większej dawki humoru.

Still waiting for them to address that Iori and Chisa are cousins even though they’re hinting at her liking him. I will say these volumes will at least have one really good chapter and that was the case with the final chapter in this one with Aina and her story. She’s happy that she’s a part of a team and it’s very nice. The shopping episode is really good too, the EVA reference was funny. The comedy is decent, not making me laugh out loud but decent. If it wasn’t for the really solid chapter in each volume and decent comedy I think this would be getting 2s instead of 3s or 4s but yeah it might go down, we have to wait and see.

Este tomo es mucho más tranqui que los anteriores en cuanto a comedia. Lo que tiene de bueno es que se centra más en los personajes, especialmente en Aina, que es un pj que me gusta mucho.


PD: ya vi a unos cuantos yankees calientes de que esta serie no se centra mucho en el buceo, cierren el orto por favor

This is the funniest volume so far. One sequence that involves some running on the beach had me in stitches. We begin to see some budding feelings come to the forefront as well. The ending is strong as well and shows that this series is more than just humor and punchlines.

Dalsze zmagania świeżaków klubu płetwonurków w zdobyciu licencji, w tym celu wyjeżdżają na Okinawę, jednak nie jest to jedyny cel, a niesprzyjające warunki mieszkalne nie pomagają w nauce. Poziom jest porównywalny do poprzednich tomów, różnicą jest mniejsza ilość żartów z alkoholu.

Always a very fun read, but this one has a surprisingly profound and heartfelt end, that makes me wonder if the story will take the character through any sort of meaningful journey, or if it’s all just funs and giggles.

The crew finally gets to Okinawa and the laughs are nonstop. Highlights of the volume were definitely the diving shop and with the bar owner, I about died laughing at the latter one.

It’s been a few months since I read the last volume. I forgot how funny the series is, it’s the perfect summer playlist read. It’s a nice break from Berserk’s bleakness too.

Je me suis enfin décidée à avancer dans les sagas où j’ai beaucoup trop de tomes dans ma PAL. Grand Blue en fait partie. J’étais d’ailleurs très impatiente de continuer cette série que j’aime énormément. Plus j’avance dans les tomes et plus j’aime cette histoire. C’est une bouffée d’humour à chaque tome. L’histoire, les personnages, l’ambiance, tout est hyper plaisant. Je n’en suis qu’au quatrième tome pour l’instant et je suis déjà impatiente de découvrir ce que les autres tomes ont à nous offrir!

Dans ce quatrième tome, on retrouve les Peek a boo ont décidé d’organiser un camp d’entraînement à Okinawa. Mais pour pourvoir se payer le voyage, Iori et les autres vont devoir travailler.. Mais surtout ne pas dépenser tout leur salaire en alcool surtout…

Dans ce tome, on retrouve nos membres du club de plongée dans une situation délicate. Ils doivent réunir de l’argent pour pouvoir partir au camp d’entraînement. Le problème ce n’est pas qu’ils ne trouvent pas de travail, ils en trouvent assez facilement. Le véritable problème c’est qu’ils le dépensent immédiatement dans l’alcool.. Ils doivent à tout prix réussir à garder l’argent pour pouvoir assister à ce camp d’entraînement. On finit par les retrouver au camp d’entraînement où ils vont passer un excellent moment. On va les voir plonger et j’ai adoré ces moments là d’ailleurs, j’ai trouvé ça vraiment chouette de voir l’esprit d’équipe prendre le dessus, si un seul remonte à la surface, ils doivent tous remonter. J’aime beaucoup le personnage de Aina, je la trouve hyper touchante.

Encore une fois, on a un tome plus que plaisant à lire. Tout cet humour, toutes ces situations complètement déjantés, le thème de la plongée, vraiment je trouve cette histoire absolument géniale. Et puis cette fin de tome nous promet une suite tellement intéressante. Iori est dans une sacré panade et il me tarde de découvrir ça!
