This is a lovely book. I design/make inspirational jewelry such as chakra bracelets, goddess themes, pendulums etc. and this book is helpful in choosing gems and explaining their meanings. Plus it's great for my personal crystal collection. Nice!

This is my favorite book on crystals. I enjoy how she uses them and it makes me think about using them in meditations as well as for balancing. It opens up thoughts on using earth energies and talismans for well being. It covers many stones I had never heard of, even though I took geology in college.

Overall, the book is a very good read… I however, wish she would have given more of an explanation as to the scientific appliances of crystal.. Such as with crystals being oscillators, how crystals have shown to raise bodily temperature.. Perhaps in the 1980’s, when this was written, the information faced paucity.. Contrasting to what today is known. Still, I feel she could have added a bit more in the entailing of what is known about crystals, though there are tidbits scattered throughout the various crystal description..

I had several synchronicities with this book, though, so that was a good thing. But I was not as impressed as had been in reading her final book in trilogy (Crystalline Transmission).. I started out of order, as the worker in my local metaphysical store (Charlie), had recommended I read her, and it was the only one within the series stocked in store.

Intuition and respect seem to be the theme of this book on crystals. I really enjoyed the authors wholistic view on the Mineral Kingdom, and am grateful for her ability to tune into her gemstones, than channel the received messages/ information clearly. There are even descriptions/advice for learning to do this for oneself.
Includes many meditation techniques, practices, and descriptions on New age gemstones (new, high vibrational crystals emerging) and many other prescious stones.
Overall this was an empowering read, and gives me many new creative ideas on how to work with and tune into my own gem collection.

An excellent author who did really connect to the crystals and downloaded information from them. An excellent opportunity to attune more deeply to the crystals, and a reliable source of information, nothing like the Crystal Bible.

Just one amendment to the book: DO NOT WAS YOUR CRYSTALS ON SALTWATER. It oxidizes them from the inside, altering their molecular structure and reducing their ability to share with us their immense energy. This is science, not spirituality. Research it and see, crystals hate to be put into salty water.

Got this book from my friend in mass paperback cover. It's easy to read and understand. It's a work book, so you'll have to read/study it a few times to understand it 100%.
It is detailed and well illustrated.
