She enjoys traveling the world seeking ideas for her series. She writes under a pseudonym of Geronimo Stilton. She is also a co-owner of Italian based publishing company Edizioni Piemme.

A reporter’s opportunity for an exclusive interview, rare lizards stolen from a museum exhibit, a helicopter flight to the jungle, and a germophobic prince are spliced together in quick succession in Geronimo Stilton Reporter: Operation Shufongong. While the fast-paced adventure implied by such a list of narrative ingredients is certainly delivered, the graphic novel’s overall success is marred by its reliance on tired, orientalist stereotypes.

Я прочитала чимало коміксів із серії про Джеронімо Стілтона від @irbis_comics . Вони усі дуже класні😍 Але оцей зовсім новенький, і ще й перша частина нової серії. Мене це дуже зацікавило! Комікси я люблю. Надзвичайно цікаво у коміксах, крім діалогів, розглядати деталі, спостерігати за діями персонажів, їхніми мімікою і жестами.

✨Що таке Шуфонфон? Мене це добряче заінтригувало. Бо Гугл мовчав😜 Бачите на обкладинці коміксу ящірку на голові у Джеронімо? От це Шуфонфон, дуже рідкісна ящірка у Мишанії - місті, де живе Стілтон.

✨Джеронімо Стілтон - редактор газети "Гризун", яка є найпопулярнішою на Мишачому острові. Він дуже любить свою справу, а ще обожнює сенсації. І от одного разу до Мишанії прилітає таємничий принц Недобр (уже саме ім'я на щось натякає😜), який нікому не погоджується дати інтерв'ю. І лише Стілтону таланить - уявіть собі! Справжній ексклюзив! Щось схоже відчувала і я, коли домовлялася про ексклюзивні інтерв'ю на радіо (коли працювала там ведучою програм і журналісткою)😍

✨Я дуже реготала з кузена Джеронімо Трапа, який завжди щось вигадує - цього разу він вивчив фокус з мотузкою і показував усім😂

✨А ще там був епізод з вимкненням світла: "Е-Е-Е... Я їх взагалі не бачу... Хтось вимкнув світло! Що?... Не штурхайтесь!" 💡

✨Ну і прямо згадала перші місяці пандемії коронавірусу, коли мила руки по триста разів на день і бризкала їх антисептиком - принц Недобр боїться мікробів і бризкається дезінфектантом😜

📗Словом, це гарно ілюстрований, динамічний, веселий і пригодницький комікс, який сподобається як дітям, так і дорослим (перевірено на мені!). З нетерпінням чекаю на продовження!

Counting this as school, since I partially used this to encourage my oldest to practice his reading. A mouse reporter and some family members investigate a theft of rare lizards while trying to get an interview with a reclusive, germ-phobic prince. Things happen, justice prevails.
