AKA Michèle Ann Young (Goodreads Author)

An army brat born in England and now living in Canada, Ann grew up loving history, but majored in business, with history on the side. She has a husband and two lovely daughters and a Maltese Terrier called Teaser, who likes to sit on a chair beside the computer while she works.

Her love of the past and the stories in her imagination led her to write her first novel in 2000, a never-see-the-light-of-day-effort, and after having her first book published in 2006, she knew she'd found her niche.

She loves the Georgian era, and within that, the period known as the long Regency. She also adores happy endings.

You will find her books in bookstores in the month of issue, as well as on line at Mills and Boon or E-harlequin.

Another book from the Gilvrys of Dunross series. This book tells the story of Jaime, the Earl of Sanford, who last appeared in Captured for the Captains Pleasure

I had trouble believing Jaime transformed from a morphine addicted wastrel from the prvevious book to an investigator for the Home Office in this book. Never the less he agrees to assist Lady Tess solve a mystery; that of a stolen diamond bracelet and her stepbrother's dissapearance only after he has her followed home from his office & discovers more about her situation.

This story isn't gripping, it's slow paced and more about solving the mystery with some mutual attraction thrown in. It really wasn't as enjoyable as any of the other books by this author

A great Regency Romance for Jacintha, the third daughter of four. Her two older sisters have married, and now it is her turn to find a husband. She is not too eager and thinks she will just settle for someone she likes rather than searching for love. Will love find her anyway? There are lots of twists and turns and nail biting going on as the story unfolds.

Lethbridge does not provide an actual Period for the setting of her story,
however, there are some vague references that imply that it is set in the
Regency Era.
The cover model and the description of Jamie, the Earl of Sanford, made
me think of House and the actor: Hugh Laurie.
Lady Tess Ingram seeks out Jamie for his investigative skills to find her missing
half-brother.
The story is a blend of mystery and steamy romance.

I enjoyed the mystery in this one, and the sexy times were spicy without dragging. The heroine was feisty (and smart, and determined), and the hero was suitably agreeable given the restrictions upon station in his time; both felt genuine.

"Ann Lethbridge’s talent for penning deliciously naughty and smart love stories shines when she pits an Earl’s devastating past against the future of a curvy damsel in distress. The author blends action, loveplay and solving the mystery of the Mayfair Burglar for a zippy, delightful read. Also pleasing: a heroine who is not a size zero!" (4 stars @ RT Book Reviews)
