Science is sorted, technology is untangled, and engineering is explained with this incredible visual guide for children.
In our modern world dominated by science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), now is the time to make tricky topics and challenging concepts completely crystal clear.
From tiny atoms and minute microchips to monster tractors and jumbo jets, this brilliant book comes packed with eye-catching illustrations to showcase science and technology in action today. You'll see whizzing waves, zooming rockets, and mighty magnets on this epic journey of discovery. Jump in the basket to see how a hot-air balloon rises, scale a mountaintop to see the impact of erosion, and venture inside Earth to reveal its multi-layered structure. Dramatic visuals, concise explanations, and step-by-step graphics keep young readers engaged and entertained from start to finish.
Hands-on projects are included to put learning into practice. Imagine making old coins shine bright with vinegar or triggering a volcanic eruption with baking soda. Impress your friends and family with these experiments and much, much more at home or at school.
This essential homework helper covers the core curriculum of school science and supports STEM education initiatives.
Young scientists and engineers, the future starts here!

Very valuable for young learners who just take the first peek at science. My 9-year old son reads two pages per day and takes very careful reading notes. This books helps him lean how to summarize and paraphrase what he has read. Moreover, he represents all the knowledge in his own words on his notebook. This is an ideal book for guiding my son to explore the realms of science and technology.
I read this one or two topics per day for several months. I don't think it would be better read faster. It introduces many different science topics. I read this to my boys where were grades 2-7. It was fun that while we were reading this we were reading the who was series of scientists so we saw different topics explained in different ways. This was really basic and broad. There are some fun experiments throughout.
For those who want to find a good integrated science book, this book could be your choice! Some topics in the book is implicitly connected to others. The book also uses a fairly easy to understand language and offers colorful images representing each topic. The topics mentioned in the book also covered most science topics for elementary until high school.
This book provides concise chemical answers to everyday questions.
For example, the origins of life, how the body works, nutrients and digestion, respiration, the life cycle of life, chemical reactions, ecology, and the food chain.
Each topic is explained briefly in one or two pages, making it easy to read.
Brilliant book with simple explanations of STEM concepts and neat illustrations. An excellent value that would be a perfect addition to any family's home library. Includes real-world examples and easy experiments.
From basic physics to machines, coding, materials, and design processes—it doesn’t just tell you what things are, but how they work and why they matter. What makes this book valuable is that it teaches you how to think systematically. It connects science to engineering, technology to innovation, and emphasizes problem-solving over memorization.
