These stories were included in the Royally Mine Anthology. If you read them there, you do not need to re-purchase as they are the same stories. A Princess for Cale by Susan Stoker Katelin Kriss comes from nothing—literally. A lifetime in foster care has ensured she’s used to little notice. So when she develops a crush on a real-life prince, she expects him to remain her favorite fantasy. After all, what can she possibly offer a man who has everything? Prince Cale Alexander and his twin brother, Cain, noticed Katelin and her best friend weeks ago, in a local bar, and both have been wanting from afar ever since. Before Cale can approach his shy beauty, the women are caught in a dangerous situation that thrusts Katelin first into his arms…and then into his bed. Cale will never be king, but he still wants the fairy tale…with his princess, Katelin. A Princess for Cain by Becca Jameson As a royal prince, Cain Alexander has everything he could possibly want at his disposal. But he and his twin brother have always felt something was lacking. After spending their childhood under the watchful eye of the royal court, the two of them break the mold and head to America where dreams are made. Shayla Peters had a rough start in life. Raised primarily in foster care, she and her closest friend have aged out of the system, gotten jobs, found an apartment, and forged a life. What neither Cain and his brother nor Shayla and her friend can easily control is finding the right person to spend their lives with. They come from different worlds. They have incomparable backgrounds. But love doesn’t care. It worms its way into the soul without invitation. Is it enough though? The probability of two such different people coming together in a parallel path is slim. Do Cain and Shayla have what it takes to defy the odds? This pair of books is over-the-top dirty. If you like your romance with possessive alphas who have very bossy mouths, then this book is for you! Susan steps outside her usual romantic suspense genre to try her hand at writing baby-making smut while Becca sticks to what she does best...hot, intense relationships with a bit of drama thrown in for good measure.
New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal Bestselling Author, Susan Stoker has a heart as big as the state of Tennessee where she lives, but this all American girl has also spent the last fourteen years living in Missouri, California, Colorado, Indiana, and Tennessee. She's married to a retired Army man who now gets to follow her around the country.
I don't know.. I felt like there was something missing from both of these stories. Which really pains me to say because I'm a huge fan of both Susan Stoker and Becca Jameson.
Story 1: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 POV: Dual 3rd Person M/F Stand alone? The only accompanying book is the one included with it.
This is Susan Stoker like you’ve never seen her before! The story is fun and enchanting, a little crazy and a lot heartwarming. The steam factor in this book however, will absolutely blow you away. It is H.O.T. HOT! Melt your kindle hot! Steam up your glasses hot! Set your undergarments on fire hot! Parch your throat and make you sweat hot! It will make you turn on your A/C and seek out a glass of ice water while snow falls outside. Ms. Stoker may have been “trying her hand” but I would say she absolutely nailed it! I can only hope she will attempt this kind of writing again!
Story 2: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 POV: Dual 3rd Person M/F Stand Alone? The only accompanying book is the one included with it.
Until today I had never read anything by Becca Jameson. That will most assuredly change. I can’t wait to read something else by this author! Her writing style was awesome and her steam factor was as HOT as book one! The story was again cute and fun, a bit crazy and a lot heart warming and the steam was hot enough to start and inferno. If all of Ms. Jameson’s books follow this pattern she is bound to become a new favorite for me.
I enjoyed these instalove OTT royal romances. Both novellas had a good mix of sweet, spice, light danger, and real life issues. Cale and Cain are 35 yo twin princes of Sistonia who have no hope to be crowned king. To forge their own lives they moved to Seattle after graduating college and built up a sizable and profitable company. They are now ready to settle down. Katelin and Shayla are best friends and roommates having grown up together in foster care. They know who Cale and Cain are and have spent months crushing on them and going to a bar weekly to be in the same space as the men but have never approached the princes. Unbeknownst to the women, the princes have noticed them and wanted to meet them. The first meeting happens when Cale and Cain come to Katelyn and Kayla’s aid when they are attacked on their way home. The attack was brushed off a little too quickly for me but the story was short so there was limited time to deal with emotional trauma. Once they meet, the train to both their HEAs starts barreling down the tracks. Despite being short, the novellas were well written and included characters with dimension in engaging storylines. 3.5 stars.
A PRINCESS FOR CALE by Susan Stroker Cale and Katelin's story is truly a fast-paced novella. It reminds me of Julius Caesar's famous words "veni, vidi, vici", "I came, I saw, I conquered". When Cale and Katelin first meet, a whirlwind romance unfolds that had me turning the pages as fast as I could read. And the addition of a dash of suspense only made this novella that much more delightful.
A PRINCESS FOR CAIN by Becca Jameson Cain and Shayla's story is just as fast-paced as Cale and Katelin's, a real whirlwind romance, even if the two are so very different from his twin brother and her best friend. Cain has to do a little more convincing that Shayla is the one for him than his brother had to do with her friend. But what are romantic gestures for, that will melt even the hearts of readers? This novella is another page-turner, and I loved every word of this beautiful fairy tale.
I have reviewed these stories after reading them as part as the "Royally Mine" compilation and reviewed them together, for they are the same tale, but told by two of the four people involved.
The two Princes had matured and grown tired of the one night stands and waking up hung over from indulging too much. However, how did they find life partners, that weren't out for the notoriety of being with the Royals or the money. This was until they spied two young ladies, who were more interested in their own company and whatever was on their phones. The men weren't aware that the ladies in question were seriously crushing on them, but believed the Royals too out off their reach to make a move.
Fate takes a hand, and now it is up to each man to convince his desired partner to stay with him.
I read these as part of the Royally Mine anthology. <3
A Princess For Cale & A Princess For Cain by Susan Stoker & Becca Jameson - Insta-love, insta-sex, insta-forever, it's true. BUT! These two authors created characters who already had been pining for one another (Cale/Katelin; Cain/Shayla) from afar for months before they actually met in person. Susan's story starts out w/ the girls' POV & Becca's starts out w/ the guys' from the night they meet. Both stories are H O T! Cale is ALPHA-y goodness & Kate is extremely innocent & sweet. I loved their interactions! Cain is a different sort of Alpha-y goodness, and Shay is more worldly & snarky. I LOVE their banter during sexy times! *grin* Both stories are highly enjoyable & can be read in either order.
I read these stories in the Royally Mine anthology. I love them. It was great to get the same story, but with different perspectives. The authors definitely communicated about how their story was going to go so that when scenes overlap they are consistent. I love that not all HEAs are going to be the same since both princes want different things regarding family. This was a different story for Susan Stoker, but I think that is part of the enjoyment because it was so different than her usual writing. I'm not sure about Becca Jameson since I don't recall reading her other works. Yes, this book is filled with sex, but that's ok because everyone has different tastes.
That was certainly very interesting. I’d say that Cale is the most intense twin I’ve read in a while. He goes from 0 to 100 in a matter of seconds!!! Cain is a bit more tame. As for Katelin and Shayla well.............. I’m glad the finally caught a break. It almost seemed like they were gonna be stuck in the same ole boring job and life until the double mint twins came along. Although I love the passion of both twins, this was what I call instalove to the max.....and it worked out thankfully for all parties. Exceptional read.
This book is brilliant novel by 2 Amazing authors: Susan Stoker & Becca Jameson! The blending of the stories between Princes Cale & Cain and the meeting between them and their ladies is while unique for they were without bodyguards, it gives them the perfect chance to lead them to where they were meant to be. Highly Recommend these Authors to Anyone and Everyone who loves Romance, Action & Sexiness both in their Bedrooms and Elsewhere...lol
I enjoyed this book very much. Theses sex senses were great, I becan to wish that mine own boyfriend could be a prince and act like Cale and Cain in bed with they do an Javelin and Shayla. I now like
Becca and Susan Stoker has publishers and look forward to reading more books by them together and more separate books by them two has well.
Not What I expected from Susan Stoker, but a Pleasant Surprise
Fans of Susan Stoker have come to expect romantic suspense with a military focus. This story is totally different, but really good. Both stories are great and I am now a Becca Jameson fan as well. A nice departure from my usual reading choices.
I realize all these happily ever after books are at least a little unrealistic. I also realize these two stories are short stories so they had to get to the happy quickly. And I Love both of these authors. All of that being said, these 2 stories were super unrealistic. Still A nice little read on a Saturday afternoon.
A Princess for Cale by Susan Stoker Holy hotness! This instalove quickie had heat, and then some to spare. Unbeknownst to each other, these two have been watching each other for a while. An incident puts them together, and then, they are together forever <3
A Princess for Cain by Becca Jameson Another awesome instalove story, where there needs to be some convincing, but not a lot!
ok I just can't stop laughing talk about Cinderella story for the modern gal .... lol so unrealistic it was hilarious but still written with Susan Stokers awesomeness that makes you love it beyond words.
Loved both stories. The first one is great, well written, great characters. I love most everything written by this author. The second one was written by an author that I'm not as familiar with, but still had a nice storyline. I'll read more of her stories in the future.
Have read lots and lots of Susan Stoker books and loved them all, had a lot of sleepless nights because I couldn’t put them down. First time I have read Becca’s book it was also good, Shall try more of them. I would recommend them.
Well written stories and well developed characters. These two stories are by two different authors but they blend together so seamlessly! Twin brothers, both royalty, think they have found The One! Are they right?
Who doesn't dream about a handsome, rich prince. Two best friends and roommates do! When they see the twin prince's in a bar, they can't help but dream. Susan and Becca weave a stories about that dream.
