I usually like Rochelle Allers but this was a slow read. I felt like there wasn't much tension between the main characters to make their relationship more compelling. The conversations seemed a little outdated and immature. Plus, the word "darling" was overused.

Trust the process and enjoy the ride

You have to trust the process and enjoy the ride. You must be willing to reconcile your past so that it doesn't interrupt your future. Lydia came to the camp to show that her choice to walk away from her job was the right one. Having sacrificed so much for her dreams, it was no wonder her independence would be something she would want to hold onto. In comes Kennedy Fletcher. A man with a past but never-ending quest to fulfill his goals. What we find are two people on a road of discovery, filled with passion and purpose.

Great read!!

What I liked about this book was the positive characters. The world we live in is filled with negativity so I just needed to read something relatively. I like how this author creates stories that are not filled with drama. Now I have to download the next story because it’s appears to be interesting.🤗

It's a book published in 2005 and it reads like a book published in 2005. Not bad, but nothing to write home about.

Moving!

What a wonderful book that held my attention. The origination of a camp for under privileged children to the adoption of one camper to a love ending in marriage. So much more occurring that this book was pleasantly sensational.
