Me entretuvo, solo eso puedo decir. Es una historia corta que como novela corta está bien estructurada y la podes disfrutar si la lees en ese código. Pero si esperas leerla como algo más, no se puede porque de un cap a otro ya se dicen te amo, al menos yo quedé like WTF?, o los personajes secundarios no están para nada desarrollados...

Pero, como dije para ser una novela corta está piola, trama entretenida y lo suficientemente hot.

El final me dejó un poco curiosa sobre el libro que viene, así que si un día estoy de humor, es posible que lo lea.

Daddy Wolf by Sky Winters is book 1 in the Silver Wolves MC series and what a fantastic start to a new series it is!!!!
Amanda is on the run from her ex and has settled down in a small town working at a bar giving up her career in the world of art.
Aspen is the VP of the Silver Wolves MC a wolf shifter and the man that will change Amanda's life and take her into a world filled with wolf shifters, curses and pack rivalry.
The chemistry between Amanda and Aspen is explosive and their interaction and bantering all put a smile on your face.

Not liking the ending

The way the story ends with so many lose ends, just doesn't sit well with me. I am glad I did not pay for the story.

While it was short I enjoyed the first book of the Silver Wolves MC series, Daddy Wolf, very much. There is world building at work here but it was so subtle and fit in with the dialogue and descriptions that it certainly didn’t hit me in the face – which is always a good sign, I dislike world building dumps of information all at once. I’d much rather ease into an author’s world.

Aspen and Amanda worked well together. She’s on the run from a jerk of an ex, so romance isn’t the top of her priority list but this man was certainly one fine looking, slightly older man. Amanda is about to be swept up into a world she didn’t even know existed, but once secure in Aspen’s feelings for her she sets about to learn and fit in with the Silver Wolves.

Their enemy will stop at nothing to eradicate the Silver Wolves, and there are some action scenes about that fight. To be frank, even though I completely enjoyed this opening story there seemed to be too little fighting action considering the battles going on between the Silver Wolves and the Dire Wolves. But, perhaps we’ll see more of that as the series continues.

In any event, Daddy Wolf was a good set up the series story and the ending gives us a glimpse of what is to come in Secret of the Wolf, the second story in this series. I’m heading over to Amazon now to download and get started on that one. I’d recommend Daddy Wolf for any Paranormal Romance or Shifter Romance reader. Yes there are loose threads in this first story, but I expect those threads to be woven throughout the series and to learn answers along the way.

    I read all of Ms. Sky's Bear Mountain and just had to read this book. I loved every minute of it, a total page turner. Captivating you from the first page, to the end taking you on the ride of your life, with the wind blowing through your hair as you're holding on tight.
     Amanda Miller is the human bartender in Rio Lobo she just came to town a little bit ago, running from her ex-boyfriend who kept stalking her and getting aggressive with her and throwing against the wall. So she left ending up in this little town, she loves it. From the first time he walked into the bar she knew she wanted this biker.
     Aspen Lowery is a Wolf Shifter with the Silver Wolves MC. The Silver Wolves have had a curse put on them by a gypsy that owed the Dire Wolves so for the past 25 years not one baby has been born to the Silver Wolves. The Dire Wolves want the territory by any means necessary. While all this is  happening between the two wolf's packs Aspen found his mate.
     A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book and my comments here are my honest opinion.

Average enough read for me. I didn't necessarily hate anything about this book, but I didn't love anything either. It what one of the most surface written books I've read recently - it barley went into detail about anything (probably because it's a novella) but still covered a great amount of distance time-wise. I liked where the story went and was probably headed, but I doubt I'll continue with the series. I just wasn't invested enough in the characters' lives to want to see them succeed. It could have been an excellent read for me if things didn't get glossed over so much, but I digress.

This is Aspen and Amanda's story . This is a hot read and has some plots and twists in it that will have you turning the pages ! Sky Winters did an awesome job ! This is well written and is a page turner , I strong recommend this to everyone ! I really enjoyed reading about the relationship that builds ( and yes explodes ) between these two !! This story will make you want a shifter for your own !!

Sexy Wolf Shifters, a small town unhappy with bikers and a young woman hiding from her ex, leads to a great first book in this new series. I loved the sparks coming from Aspen and Amanda, their characters are caring and protective of others. I look forward to reading the next book in this series to see where Sky will take us with this story. A really enjoyable story.

I love books about shifters. I also love books about MCs. So when I got the opportunity to read this book about a motorcycle club of shifters, I couldn't resist. Plus, the main alpha character had a maturity some of the youngin's don't. Aspen and Amanda had great chemistry added to a complicated storyline making this a book I couldn't put down. Aspen is a wolf shifter, VP of the Silver Wolves MC and is cursed to not being able to have babies. Silver Wolves MC is at war with Dire Wolves. With a secret, drama and rivalry this books keeps you reading till the end.

I tried to like this one

I really tried to like this book, I just couldn't get into it. It didn't really flow well in my opinion and could've used some more edits. At times I couldn't figure out which main characters pov was happening from sentence to sentence, which can be a bit confusing. I like the concept of what the author was trying do and if it was re-edited I'd try it again but as of right now I can't give it a higher rating than 2 stars.

Excellent! A Must Read for Shifter Enthusiasts!

This book is an amazing read. I really enjoyed reading it and am looking forward to reading the next.

This story is entrancing, it pulled me in and made me feel attached to the characters, leaving me with an emotionally familial feeling. I really care about what is going to happen to them!

I'm positive that anyone who likes to read shifter stories will be enthralled by this one. It really is that good!

But then it dragged and I lost interest - didn’t care if the were sold as blood slave or worse sex slaves.

Great short story. It kept you wanting to know what would happen next. Aspen drawn to a bar that Amanda works at. Can they find love or is it a one night stand? Will the other wolf pack destroy them? The only problem is the book was a few miss spelled words or words that should be different. Can't wait to read the next book to see what happens.

A nice afternoon read

This was a great start to this series. Aspen and Amanda's relationship starts out a little rocky but they manage to work it out forming a bond quickly. With the surprise of the pregnancy it playthings more intense while they wait on the Dire Wolves to make their move against the Silver Wolves.

I really liked this story...a little older wolf...a younger (not to much younger) woman...they were drawn together and even though she knows nothing about the wolf's she also knows nothing about the MC. She gets a fast intro into both. Great storyline and great characters. I've read this author before and like her stories.

This was a pretty good story - fairly short and sweet; not quite as dramatic as the blurb would have you believe. I did like the H&h. However, this book is in serious need of an editor, or even a proofreader - just because a word is spelled correctly doesn't mean it is used correctly, and there were several different nstances where the wrong pronoun was used in a sentence.

A totally different MC. Most members have been around awhile, they are not spring chickens.
The club membership is going down and A rival club the Dire Wolves wants to speed of their departure. They keep attacking them and killing some each time. They are also under a curse. Very exciting and fun read. Loved it.

Ok short read

Was really looking forward to reading this book but was disappointed with it. It was a lot shorter then expected for the main story. Less than 15 percent is the Daddy Wolf story. The story itself was also lacking.

Lots of spelling and proofreading mistakes, sometimes it was hard to follow because of that alone. The first story was interesting and kept my attention, but the others were almost like copycats; and short.

Book was good but definitely needed editing... had trouble understanding who was speaking and there was a lot of saying she when it should have been he and Visa versa plus too many words that wasn't needed... I am going to read the next one
