Having listened to the prophecy of the sisters and received a stone to locate Clover, Accacia and her Vampire Knights have embarked on a journey through the forbidden forest of the Ever Vale. Rhain and Devin have made their feelings for Accacia clear, however, Ezra is still determined to end his life after they locate Clover. Matters are further complicated when Rhain and Devin are taken by the fae and sentenced to die. Now Accacia and Ezra must locate Clover, rescue the men, and make it back safely to Nostra's hidden village. Difficult enough, but made more so with Ezra's impending death since he won't accept Accacia's blood. She is desperate but with the help of a few friends and some magic, it is accomplished. Once they return safely and emotions are resolved, times should be good for the four before they need to deal with the prophecy. But it's not meant to be. Dark magic has taken one of the Knights. Now a brother and a love could be forever lost. A prophecy could be doomed. Accacia knows her own heart now and will not accept this outcome. These men are her heart, her mind, and her soul. She will rescue save her man. She will save the Ever Vale from its curse.

I truly enjoyed this book. Even more than the first. It was so full of emotions; anger, fear, regret, hope, love. It was such a roller coaster read. I loved getting to know Ezra and watching his heart heal. Rhain is so openly loving and Devin is so understanding and supportive. I love how the relationships are progressing. The ending gutted me. Even though I saw it coming, it was upsetting still. I am eagerly awaiting the final book focusing on Accacia and her Knights.

I love this series, and each book gets better and better! Accacia is on a journey to find her best friend, Clover, together with her 3 vampires. The author has created characters the reader cares about, each with their strengths and weaknesses, and reveals more of their histories as the story progresses.
You are drawn into the world she has created, filled with mythical creatures that she brings to life for the reader to delight in. Well-written and imaginatively thought out, I look forward to the next instalment. If you've never tried a reverse harem novel, I highly recommend this series.

And Bea has done it again!

This series just gets better and better. It was great getting to know Ezra better as he had been overshadowed by the more dominant Rhain up until now. His pain and his anguish over his building attraction to Accacia is really felt throughout this story and with his history, it is easy to see why and sympathise with his surly ways.

Another 5 star story from this author and once again, I'm wasting no time jumping into the 3rd book.

Vampires Oh My!

Accacia was able to save Rhain from death by joining with him.
Now they must set foot in the Forbidden Forest to find her friend Clover.
Things aren't as simple as Accacia would have hoped.
Instead, Rhain and Devin are kidnapped by the far and Ezra is dying.
The only way to save Ezra is to give him her blood, but he refuses.
She must find a way to convince him to live for her by taking her blood.

I loved how each book focuses on a certain male of Accacia's harem.
This one being about Ezra.

It's heart-wrenching to see the guilt and pain Ezra has suffered the last thousand years due to losing his wife and daughter.
You can understand why he would wish to let it all go and join with them in the afterlife.
But it's fascinating to see the pull between him and Accacia.
How they each struggle with the feelings they have bottled inside them.

I'm curious to see how this story will end.
It left us with a cliffhanger and I can't wait to dive in.

When I started this series, I thought Ezra would be the last one we saw accepting Accacia.
Not that they haven't all fully accepted her, but in the order, I thought Ezra would be last in taking her blood and joining her intimately.
Knowing it is actually Devin we will be seeing in the final book, is intriguing.
And I feel this one may be the most intense.

I highly recommend this series.
They are fairly fast paced, but yet give you a wealth of information and feels.
I have my guesses of how long this series will take though, to completely solve the curse of the wicked Queen.
But read them, you won't be disappointed!

Holy moly, Book 2 was even better than Book 1!! In this second installment of Accacia's story, we focus on Ezra who has decided to not let Accacia reciprocate and drink his blood after she drank his early in Accacia's Curse. The two of them become closer throughout their journey and the tensions thick enough you could be cut with a knife! Bea did a great job with the two of them and letting them lower their walls slowly and pushing each other throughout the book, in a good way. There was more romance and steam in this book which I really loved and appreciated. So many swoon worthy moments <3

While Accacia has to deal with Ezra getting weaker and weaker, she has to traverse the fae land to get to her best friend Clover. We get to meet some of the guys in the "fae" sister's harem and I CANNOT WAIT to read about them in future books. One of my favorite parts was with the tattoos, so imaginative and can't wait to read more about those. Also loved how the "fae" harem treated Ezra and Nostra's no nonsense attitude. This is one of my favorite series this year, can't wait to read Book 3 next year and then get to know the other sisters of Hex :) I do have to say I could see that something bad was gonna happen to my favorite character, but it made the ending gripping, and makes me want Book 3 even more!!

*voluntarily and honestly reviewed the ARC I received from the author*

I bounce between a 3 and 4 with this because it was a good book with a few things that drove me crazy. The ending KILLED me. I totally need the next book or I'm going to go crazy.

The world is what always gets me. Major props to the author for creating such a cool fantasy world with different races that humans wrote the monsters and myths about (seriously, how cool?) Accacia is still struggling to accept that she's now a part of a magical world but I couldn't fault her too much for it. She's a scientist getting told to believe in fairytales and love. I'm not a fan of what felt like instalove to me. I liked that she, of course, struggled, but I was kinda hoping to see the guys all make their own way to loving her. It's an overall fast, fun fantasy read full of danger and scenes that'll make you cry if you're like me.

WOW, book 2, Accacia's Blood stepped it up a notch. More adventure, more suspense and more sex! Accacia is going to find Clover, if it's the last thing she does! Ezra has promised to help her, but after that he is off to die. Only Accacia's Blood can save him, but he refuses to take it. After Accacia's Curse had a large focus on Rhain, in this one Ezra's turn for the spotlight, but we still have enough of Rhain and Devin to keep us interested. On a quest to find Clover, Rhain and Devin are kidnapped and Ezra and Accacia need to rescue them. We learn a lot about Ezra's backstory and his heart-break. We learn about the Fae and visit their magical world. Accacia is still struggling with the idea of being in love with more than 1 man at a time, but the relationship she has with them all is awesome. I particularly like the silent bond she has with Devin. Ends on a cliff hanger, but lucky for me I have the 3rd book raring to go on my kindle. Definitely recommend the series.

Note that this is part of a trilogy and this story had more romance in it then the first in this series. Which I’m very happy with.

I feel that it’s hard to say much without giving away spoilers. What I can say is this:

* Good storyline
* The characters are growing on me, I feel like I know them better after this book
* No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings
* The love scenes is okay but can still have more intensity added to make them more steamy
* It’s a fairy tale for grown ups 😬

Narrator:
I’m sad to say I don’t like the voice particularly but at the same time in some weird way it matches the story ...... I think 🤔
Pronunciation is clear and she reads with feelings. The biggest draw back is that it should have been dual or duet reading because this narrator for me just isn’t mastering the male voices.

Conclusion: I listen even if I’m not totally happy with the narrator so it’s good enough.

This again was ok, and I’m not rating it two stars because I will read the last book, but the thing with Ezra was not done well at all, the whole first book and a half he was adamantly against taking her blood, and it really grated on my nerves how she kept offering and asking, and then he kept getting mad, like she knew his answer. And it would have been so much more powerful if she had just said “ok, you don’t want it, come to me if you change your mind I guess” and then kept interacting with him, and then finally in that moment when he was about to die she gives him blood, and then he comes to and realizes and gets super angry, and then they spend the rest of the time coming to terms with that. It felt so out of place for him to just be happy about it when every other conversation about it had been very clear that he didn’t want it. And I know there was “foreshadowing” but the thing with D and that girl at the end was super weird and I don’t know why that had to happen

Book 2 of The Sisters of Hex series is Accacia’s Blood and our heroine learns more of the prophecy that binds her to her Vampire Knights and the four sisters whose combined power will break the curse that has darkened Ever Vale. She is drawn more closely to her valiant heroes who love her fiercely and would sacrifice their own lives for her. The end leaves us with another missing hero, swathed in darkness and death. The resolution will come in Accacia’s Bite and it’s sure to be a winner. This is not a standalone, and first time readers should start with book 1, Accacia’s Curse. This is the second book of 15, divided into trilogies about each of the Sisters of Hex. It promises to be fantastic and I can’t wait for more.
I received a free copy from the author.

Accacia is finally learning just what it means to be one of the sisters of prophecy. Through this knowledge, and her own loving and caring heart, she is beginning to understand what love is too. She has already been claimed by Rhain, but her feelings for Ezra and Devin are just as strong. In the midst of her inner turmoil over the men, she is terrified for the life of her best friend, Clover.

In this second book, Accacia must find the strength to find Clover and rescue her. In the the process, she must struggle through her feelings for Ezra who is determined to let himself die. Will she be able to accept her feelings for him, for all three? Will Ezra continue down his path toward death? Or will they both learn there is more to life if you open yourself to it?

4 star Review Accacia’s Blood (Sisters of Hex: Accacia #2) by Bea Paige

Audio Review:

This was a relatively new author to me, although I have listened to a couple of books narrated by Megan Green previously.

Although not a particularly long book, Bea Paige certainly managed to pack a fair bit into it and you cannot help but be drawn in by the story she weaves.
Megan Green does a great job narrating and she certainly brought the story to life. This book seems to be a little more emotionally involved than book one, but then that is just my opinion.
Paranormal is not a genre I often read or listen to. Accacia’s Blood not only contained romance but suspense as well. If you like paranormal, particularly with Vampires, the Fae and magic then this will be right up your alley.

In this continuing Saga of The Sisters of Hex Accacias Blood book 2, we find Accacia and her three vampires on a journey into a parallel world in search of Clover Accacias best friend. This search leads to new truths of herself and her friend. It also leads her to her new home in Ever Vale. Ezra comes to terms with his past tragedy so he can move on into a future with Accacia and their bond, but after the bond is complete they find Devin missing. Some new developments have appeared to divert Accacia and her three vampires from their original quest.
So the series moves on to book 3, Accacias Bite and hopefully our HEA for Accacia and her three vampires.

The second book in the addicting new series by Bea Paige, Accacia’s Blood, picks up where the last ended. Accacia, Rhain, Ezra, and Devin enter the Forbidden Forrest to search for Accacia’s missing friend Clover. Along the way, Rhain and Devin are kidnapped by the Fae and later rescued, Clover is found and discovered to be one of the sisters mentioned in the prophecy, and Ezra and Accacia are able to work through their differences and grow closer. The book ends with a cliff hanger that leaves readers wanting the next installment. I truly enjoyed this book and the world that Bea Paige has created and am excited for the next installment.

Interesting World and plot premise

The first book in this series, although relatively short, caught my interest. This second book was also a decent read. I like the World and plot premise, but the Heroine needs a little more depth. Adult due to sexual scenes.

Although an adult paranormal romance, it rather resembles a YA because of outbursts and angst. Sometimes the dialogue and exclamations are stilted. I'd also like to see more action scenes, with more detail.

I will continue to the next book, because this one (like the last) left me hanging. Usually this tactic would turn me away, but since I already have the third book, I'll read it.

Audiobook Review:

I felt like this story had decent progression from book one. Accacia got answers to some of her questions. And it had a very interesting cliffhanger which has me invested enough to see what’s going to happen in book three. I like that it seems like each book is essentially dedicated to the progression of Accacia and one of her men, while also moving the overall storyline along. The narrator did a pretty good job although if I’m honest I think her tones or the different men could use a bit of work. I think I’d like her even better with duet narration to have a male narrator perform the male parts. But overall, she did a pretty good job.

Book two in the series and the story continues to excite, Accacia has claimed Rhaine and has shared part of her soul with Devin but Ezra refuses to take Accacias blood. Poor Accacia is really going through it at the moment. Her best friend Clover is missing and she is trying to navigate her feelings for the three new men in her life

Full of excitement and drama, this kept me glued to the page excited to see their story unfolding. I am very looking forward to reading the next book in this fantastic series

I very much enjoy this series, although, sometimes I wanna shake Accacia! Her stubbornness is, at times, frustrating to read. She’s so angry at Ezra when he continues to refuse to feed, but then when faced with commitment, she begins arguing against the idea...pretty mixed signals to the poor guys. And just when you think all is right with the group, we instead get a HUGE cliffhanger. And THAT is why this series is so addictive!! Nothing bland or boring here, this series keeps you on the edge of your seat (maybe some yelling at the kindle as well lol) Time to get book 3!

OH MY GOSH!!! I'm happy, my heart is breaking, my mind is spinning. Accacia's journey continues in the second book of this series. In this installment we learn more about the three vampires who have fallen for Accacia, the trials and tribulations they have gone thru in addition to the curse that now affects them all. Accacia grows as a character, standing up for herself, finding herself, fulfilling her desires, and is downright feisty at times. She learns the entirety of the prophecy and her importance in saving the world she is coming to know.

I settled very quickly with Megan Greene's narration this time. The niggles I had in the last book had mellowed away completely. It was in fact lovely to be able to hear the characters straight away. I love knowing who is who without being told.

The story picks up right where the last book ended and I love that. It went where I hoped it would but not how I expected to get there. I love listening to characters grow and change and finding out the reasons behind the way they are how they are. I am looking forward to seeing how their story moves on in the next book

Wow - what a great start to a new series and a great twist on vampires - absolutely loved this book. I couldn't put it down it gripped me from the very start and kept me entertained all the way through. The only disappointment was the book came to an end. So I hope I don't have to wait for too long to get my hands on book two, I would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves paranormal romance.and had I been able I would have allocated way more than 5 stars.

Wow!! I honestly think book two was better than book one. We start the story out with Ezra and Accacia still struggling with Ezra's denial to take her blood. When Rhain and Devin are kidnapped and taken to the fae king it is up to Accacia and Ezra to save them. Through a series of event Ezra and Accacia eventually come together, and we get to see the soft and cuddly side of Ezra. I definitely recommend this book and look forward to the next one!

Oh how I love Ezra!!! Accacia’s blood was amazing and the story just keeps getting better. Ezra is stubborn and determined not to fall for Accacia. We see as the two are thrown together in a desperate race to save Rhain and Devin. Along the journey Ezra and Accacia grow close and realise that they will have to stick together in order to rescue their friends. If you love reading rh, sister if the hex series is for you and the journey is just beginning. Highly reccomend 👍😍🌈

This one might have been better than the last book!! I’m failing in love a little bit more with Accacia and her men. We learn a lot more about Ever Vale and the curse in this book. We also learn more about Accacia’s men. I love Devin. He’s my favorite. We also learn more about Nostra and how he fits intro this story and more about his powers. I can’t wait for the third part of Accacia’s story and which sister will be next.

So good

The book draws you deeper and deeper into this magical world of curses, love, and redemption. Beautifully written and emotionally connected. The characters become more real and we become more and more invested in their relationships and journey. I’m so excited to catch up with Accacia’s last book which promises excitement and all the feels. I am hooked and can’t wait for all the sister’s stories. I definitely recommend.

Another beautifully written book. This continuation picks up right at the end of book 1. As the story continues on from Rhain, we learn a whole lot more about Ezra and how he has come to be the person he is now. Accacia gets a taste of being in Ezra's place in the past and comes to understand him a bit better. The two are able to connect a bit more while in the Forbidden Forest which is part of the prophecy. Excited to continue the series. Written in 1st person POV. Cliffhanger.

What the light? - Ahh more of Accacia, Ezra, Devin and Rhain! I’m so glad I had the whole trilogy to read in one go, because things just kept getting better and better. The storyline was excellent, and the characters developed even more. I loved learning more about the possibilities that were in story for the other of the 5 sisters too. Highly recommended. Read book 1 and you’ll be hooked on the whole series.

Exciting and sexy!

The intricacies of this story are incredible! The mysteries surrounding the curse deepen with every answer we're given and I love it! It's also cool to have met one of the other sisters and her three in a small way before their own stories are told. I love the hints of the wider world for each of the clans.

Overall, fantastic novel and I can't wait for the final part of this trilogy!

This is the second book in the Sisters of Hex 1st Trilogy, and part of the Sisters of Hex paranormal romance series. Accacia's story continues with her vampires : Rhain, Ezra, and Devin. This time, we learn more about Ezra, and I love this character! The story has it all: Great characters, great pace, and interesting story. The story ends with a cliffhanger, and now I can't wait for the next book in the Series, Accacia's Bite. The narration is well done.
