The blurb seriously didn't seem to be attached to this book. I just didn't feel any chemistry between the characters. The best thing about the book was the small town setting with a Halloween feel.

Not good at all

Most irritating book I've read to date. It almost killed me to waste so much time finishing it. It was essentially a Halloween story disguised, poorly,as a romance. Poorly developed characters and a baby that should have been removed by social services, she was so neglected.

A One Night Stand results in Beatrice/Bitsy getting Pregnant. The story doesn't go through the pregnancy with her. Roman is the Billionaire baby daddy to Lorelei. He finds out a year later that his unknown one niter has had his child and he wants to be apart of her life. But he has no interaction with the baby. No holding or kisses. He brings her a teddy bear. He wants to help Beatrice hold on to her grandfathers pumpkin farm. Its in financial trouble and the grandfather Benson wants to sale. They come up with the plan to turn the farm into a scary type Halloween theme park. Then the authors goes on to add 5 horror stories within this story to see what Ideas they can get from the horror stories to make attraction into the theme park. What the heck is going on? If I wanted to read short trailers of horror stories I would have purchased a horror story to read. What billionaire leaves his business to do this crap? You never get the feeling that Ramon is a billionaire nor do you get any connection between him and his daughter Lorelei. He wants to build a relationship with Bitsy first I guess.

I am so Happy I didn't purchase this book. I got it with my Kindle Unlimited. Don't waste your time.

Started out real good but after a while I was annoyed , just couldn’t feel connection with the characters and also the unrealistic, lack of baby and father and basically family interaction just pissed me off so yeah it was a 3 for me !

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of the book.

This book was sort of all over the place for me. I couldn't connect with Bea/Beatrice/Bitsy, though I did like her a bit better after she had Lorelei. Roman was hard to get a feel for too, but I liked him better than Bitsy. I feel like there were a lot of holes and missed opportunities in the plot: what actually happened with the ex-boyfriend, Bitsy's mom and dad, and Roman's dad? Then there was the introduction of the horror stories - I suppose in honor of Halloween coming right after the release of the book, but it just felt out of place for me. I also didn't really understand why Bitsy was so hesitant to give Roman a chance when he was so clearly committed to being a family. AND why did neither of them ever have a heart to heart about their pasts and childhoods? Other than that, I loved the setting of Whiskey Hollow, Granddaddy/Benson, and Roman. But the book sort of felt like 3 stories in one. 3 out of 5 wine glasses.

"For the fans who are keen of Halloween "Accidental Daddy" isn't going to let them down....For the fans who are looking for an enjoyable reading with a Halloween theme, lots of witty dialogs and hot sex scenes then this is THE book to sit and read..."

" I received a complimentary copy of this book and have volunteered to leave a review."

When I asked for Accidental Daddy Advanced reader copy I hadn't had in mind a story like that! It was cleared by the title that the book was going to be a chick flick book like the ones that have a little bit of drama and the expected happy ever after. You know, I'm not this type of reader but it was my chance to read for the first time a book from this author and I didn't wanted to miss it. And I was so lucky!!! I was, and still am, blown away by the author's talent to mix a variety of book genres into one story. Take a look...

Thirty-six chapters full of suspense. Thirty-six chapters to fulfil both your imagination and curiosity of what might happen next. The story starts with the best omen to be interesting and enjoyable. Two very good friends and roommates, Beatrice and Nia are in the middle of organizing a Halloween party at Nia's house. Their witty dialogs and teasing are all over the place, unstoppable and hilarious, while they are going through all the details of it.

In order to move the story closer to what the title says, many things happened too fast. Though, I have to say that ,there were some thoughtful family scenes, which held a serious meaning for the continue of the story. Beatrice left her roomies and went back to her home town, keeping her pregnancy a secret. The revelation of the secret came and went (I won't say a thing, my mouth is closed) and that's when the story twists and everything after that didn't seem to be so relevant with the title anymore. I mean, yes there is a father who meets his baby after some time, and the always there pulling between the couple but the plot had started to change into something more interesting and riveting, something not so close to the title anymore. Something more close to what the Halloween as a celebration or as a family tradition has been.

The story of Beatrice and Roman starts fast. I liked how they first met. The floating mystery of the Halloween air compined with the strong and palpable attraction between them, made it easy to understand how these two different souls were going to connect. Although, as I was eager to see how far their relationship will go, I wasn't fully pleased with how it went. The change to the topic of the story became more important in a way, putting Beatrice's and Roman's relationship almost in the ice. Maybe it was planned to be that way. So while the story unfolds the bits and pieces of their interactions would give them the space to find each other. I want to believe that was the reason. As for the end...Well, they did find each other. With a steamy and super hot way!!! I can give you that!

So, trick or treat my friends? Ask for both and you will be both pleased...

I loved reading Accidental Daddy! It is definitely different from what I have read so far. The mixed book genres, romance, suspense, action, mystery, a bit of thriller, all of these kept my interesting alive and felt pleased from the results. (Did I say about the humorous dialogs?) The story never dulled, on the contrary it was fast paced and consuming, which I really didn't want it to end so soon. After I finished, you know, I was in high need of little more action from Beatrice's and Roman's part. ...just a thought to keep in mind.

I hope I intrigue your imagination and made you grab the book yourselves and find out what's really happening because there is no way to tell you myself.

Until next time, enjoy your free time reading great books with the most unforgettable stories.

Accidental Daddy is the story of two people who would probably have never met if there wasn't a Halloween party where things went wrong. Should these people end up together? At the beginning of the story I would have said no way but the author gives the couple time (lots of time) to grow, mature and get to know each other. At the end of the story I give the couple a hearty maybe as far as if they should be together.

Beatrice is a young woman who has moved away from the small town where she grew up to go to college. At the start of the story she is hanging out with her friend and trying to get out of attending a Halloween party. Beatrice has no backbone. And she's a virgin. Enter the ex-boyfriend who broke her heart! He is depicted as a bad boy to the core. (Honestly, I wanted to know his story but the reader doesn't get any of it.) Roman is a super successful businessman who is "estranged" from his family (see my rant below). He comes home to attend a family reunion and anniversary party and ends up at his niece's Halloween party. The ex-boyfriend shows up at the Halloween party, bad things happen, Beatrice drinks alcohol and Roman ends up taking her back to his hotel room (Why? I don't know. Her room was just down the hall in the house where the party was but ok.) Beatrice does the sneaky walk of shame the next morning. Then she goes back to her hometown because she fears her grandfather is sick. But Beatrice also goes home because she suspects she's knocked up....oh my!

Now, when Roman tracks Beatrice (who we shall now call Bitsy) down, he's irked about her keeping the baby a secret. Of course, they didn't know each other's names, where they lived or their sexual histories! Good ole Bitsy doesn't say, hey ding dong, why didn't you use a damn condom! I was a virgin so I had no experience to go on. Nope. And quite a bit of time has passed. Like a full year! Does Roman ever ask Bitsy if she had insurance to have the baby? He's a freaking millionaire! He should probably cover the expenses. Just saying.

Anyway, Bitsy is trying to save her family farm. Finally, the story of this couple getting to know each other. Um, sort of. They spend time together and they talk but I never felt like they really connected on anything...even the baby. But don't worry. By the end, Roman is totally capable of watching his daughter while Bitsy goes out to run errands. After months of being around the baby. Ok.

Did I mention that Bitsy's hometown of Whiskey Creek is full of fun activities and quirky characters? None of them really added to the story but at least they broke up the story a bit.

You know what annoyed me? This story is full of throw away details. For instance, why does Roman's father hate him so much? The family business? I don't get it! And Roman has all of these memories of his father never being there when he's a kid so you'd think Roman would have all sorts of mental issues. But everyone else in Roman's family seems so normal and so tight with each other that maybe that's why Roman is so normal and well adjusted? And one more thing about Roman! He's a very rich man. He got rich by building a very successful business all over the world. He's spent 20 years building his business but BOOM he suddenly doesn't have any responsibilities and can take a long break to spend time with the mother of his child. Um, that's not how business works. There's one brief mention that Roman had to travel and Bitsy missed him so much. There are other examples, but I'll stop there. I guess the bottom line is that Roman is an outline not a complete character. I think the elements were there, they just weren't utilized because Bitsy is the focus of the story.

This story isn't awful it's just incomplete. I liked that Bitsy and Roman end up designing a haunted Halloween farm to try to save Bitsy's family farm. It's a quirky solution. I was super happy when Roman mentioned that they needed to get to work on it because building something like that takes time....they gave themselves 4 to 8 weeks to do it (sigh....that makes me sad). Again, Roman is rich and could keep the farm going for a year in order to do things right. And Roman could have brought business to the quirky little town but whatever. Those are my thoughts on how this could have worked out.

I would recommend this story to anyone who likes billionaire romance (still not sure how Roman is a billionaire but whatever). If you like R.R. Banks stories, give this one a try. This story is told from 2 POV in first person.

Quotes:
"No one named Bea is allowed to dress as a bee," she said with all the authority of someone quoting a historic treaty. loc 50 (So I mentioned in the review that Beatrice has no backbone. She let's people call her Bea even though she hates it.)

Beatrice comes from Whiskey Hollow is small southern town and she was raised on a pumpkin farm. Her room mate is having a Halloween party and declares that Beatrice is coming and that she will have fun and find a man. Roman is her room mate Nia's older cousin and is back to try to reconcile with his family. Roman comes to the party and is immediately taken with Beatrice. After the party gets out of hand Roman makes his moves and get Beatrice to leave with him. They have an amazing night together in his hotel and she leaves a note promising to meet up again the following year. Roman shows up but doesn't find his missing woman until he asks to see pictures from his cousin party the previous year. This sends him on a trip to Whiskey Hollow and to find out what kept his woman away. Beatrice went back home because the family farm needed her and she didn't want her grandfather to sell not knowing that she was taking a little somethin with her from her night with Roman...a baby. When Roman gets there and finds her in the crazy little town he gets a shock when he learns of his daughter but nothing will stop him from claiming his family.

OMG! This story is the best I've read this year to date. I loved it. Especially when at one part of the story Beatrice is running on the farm and runs into Roman and he asks her "why she's running? " and she responds back " I'm not an idiot. I've watched tv. I know when you hear something coming through a dark cornfield, you don't stop to investigate. You just keep on running." and He asks "Why?" she says "Serial Killers, Creepy demon children. Zombies.? OMG I haven't laugh that hard in a long time. Love that quote. I am recommending this to everyone I know and then some this is a must read. I can't wait for the next book from this author.

I received a copy of this for an honest review.

Ohhh myyyy... this book is so worth it! Is the kund of book you cannot let alone till you finish it and then you are angry that you finished so quickly.

Beatrice is 21 years old, yes she is a virgin but this do not define her. She is from a little town named Whiskey Hollow. Her roommate Nia is a little bit crazy but fun and this Halloween like others she is trying to make Beatrice participate in the festivities. Like a good roommate she is helping Nia going to the store at midnight to buy candy and stuff, when she saw, talk and got kissed by an "ex", then saw that same "ex" getting frisky with a woman in the same place!!! That's all it took to get Beatrice in the mood Nia wanted. The day of the party out of the blue the same "ex" got to her house, where the party was, because another roommate was his date! Shitty night right? Not for long, she let loose all her inhibitions and met a handsome man.

Roman was not in his element, but for his cousin Nia he went to her party. Since he got there a beautiful woman got all his attention, and what he likes he gets. Trick or trick he asked her, she decided treat and she got a kiss. Later on the she told him trick, and the ended on his hotel room. But the morning after she was gone, only leaving a note to see each other to trick or treat next year.

But remember they do not know who they are, no names and for him no faces either...

Will they get together next year? Or will that be 3 months too long?

Teagan went to a party with her cousin and friend while she was in law school. She met Declan there. He was a playboy billionaire. She went home with him and had the best sex she had ever had. A few weeks later she got a surprise. She worked her way through law school even though pregnant. She meets Declan two years later when her law firm is fighting his business to stop them from building on land in the middle of the city. Declan sees her and ask her out. She knows she shouldn’t go out with him but he makes her feel something. She is breaking her law firms rules by going out with the opposition. This is where the story really gets going. This book contains lust, deceit, sexy scenes with BDSM, confusion, betrayal, and love. Gab the book and sit down for the ride of your life.
RR doesn’t disappoint in this book. The plot with the BDSM scenes pulls you in and them add the two dimensional characters and you can’t put down the book. I received an ARC and I am leaving a voluntary review.

Well, what do you know!
Accidental Daddy is quite the mysterious, fast-moving, intricately detailed Halloween based read!

I have to admit; I was taken back by the suspenseful eerily dark tone throughout, coupled with the frustrating one night stand turned into romance. I. LOVED. EVERY. Dramatic second of it!

Watching Bitsy and Roman fumble their way to getting to know one another while saving the Galloway Farm, was an experience all in itself- my emotional state went from hot to cold in a matter of a couple of maddening paragraphs- I knew I was hooked!
I need more.
This whirlwind of crazy, humorous, small town people I would want to scare the crap out of, outside the box romance was an unputdownable read!
I refused to sleep until I finished! It was worth a couple of hours less of beauty sleep!
If you enjoy a good mystery with some suspense, dark twists, and sweet heat, flying sparks romance than I highly suggest this book!
R.R. Banks has created something creative and IMO worth reading!

I am more of a rate than review type reader, as I don't want to accidentally give something a way regarding the plot.

This is my first time reading the author, who has a back catalogue of 50+ books,
Oh good, I thought, I like to read either a long series or lots from the same author

I looked at the cover....
semi naked, hot guy..... check
I read the blurb....
Billionaire....
One night stand resulting in a pregnancy......
Discovery of parenthood and launch an attack to build a family... Check

Still sounds good, classic plot how will they conquer their differences.

I didnt read anything that said the book will totally off the plot and
two short but still too long horror stories and random recipes are included for free!

If this had been an old fashioned womans magazine, with knitting patterns and warm and cosy articles and some pages had accidentally stuck together I could have understood my confusion.... but unfortunately it was on my kindle

Oh god, I hate admitting to disliking a book immensely, but this was terrible in my world. It was so loooong, didn’t think it would ever end, well it didn’t, I ended it. The blurb and cover - hot! Storyline - literally put me to sleep.

absolutely awful. there is no chemistry between the characters, the baby is shoved in here and there as an afterthought and the 'heroine' is a complete b***h.

Not for me

I wanted to like this. Something was missing, then around chapter 26 I realize what it was. Emotion, feelings, internal dialogue. There is no hugging, touching, longing looks. The baby barely present, with little interaction, and little emotion. There is no chemistry between the hero and heroine. In fact both of them are unlikable. You never really know what the characters are feeling , what is motivating their words and actions.

Horribly boring

I couldn't finish. I got to chapter 26. I don't understand how this book got so many good reviews. There is zero chemistry between h and H. The baby is virtually nonexistent. She seems to be in a playpen 90 percent of the time. Grandpa sits in his chair and does nothing. But my biggest problem with the book is that this supposed billionaire business genius comes up with the worst idea ever to save the farm. One months revenue from a haunted cornmaze does not a thriving farm make. I don't understand any point of their haunt planning. It's completely ludicrous. The random scary stories are completely irrelevant to anything at all. Random characters are brought in with great detail and then disappear. Why bother? Omg this was so boring. I'm still sitting here trying to figure out why this has such good reviews. It's baffling. I'm actually questioning how I even got as far as chapter 26 😂

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I loved the thrill and adventure. Even the short stories inside are a great Halloween scare. Beatrice is a young girl trying to move on from a past that is a little hard to talk about. Her parents both left her and her grandparents raised her on the family farm. She met a guy, Gregory, and there are some bad vibes there so she is trying to move on. Unfortunately, Gregory keeps showing up in her life when she least expects it. He roommate now Nia is hosting a Halloween party and Beatrice has to go, but as what. The two go shopping for costumes and nothing works out. Nia had to leave before one is doing to go to a family reunion. Roman is Nia's older cousin, who she looks up to. He had been away from these kind of events for 10 years after not following on his father's predetermined path. Instead hers made a life for himself, a billionaire to be exact. While at the party, Nia convinces Jim to come to the Halloween party. Beatrice is trying to get ready for the party, her roommates don't like her costume and make her go back with them to change. She ends up in a little black dress and a mask. She's a raccoon. When she emerges, she runs into no other than Gregory making out with a friend, not his date, bringing back all kinds of memories. Beatrice decides to drink away the night if he is here. She hasn't drank before so it doesn't take much. She keeps running into a makes man without a shirt on.. After trying to get our of the craziness going on, she goes out back for some air, heating done noise in the distance, she goes to investigate, it's Gregory with yet another party guest getting it on, he invites her to join them but runs the other way. Right into the shirtless guy with the mask. Things head up between the two of them, Beatrice did on good lap and starts kissing him. She is a virgin and had no idea what these feelings are. Another commotion breaks out, Gregory gets caught with the other girl by his date and all heck breaks loose. The makes man asks her truck or treat she says treat, he feeds her a piece of chocolate. She asks what would have happened if I said treat, he picks her up, food her over his shoulder and carries her to his car. After making it to the hotel, things head up and after a very passionate romp, they both fall asleep. Beatrice gets up leaves a note that says same time same place next year and leaves. Roman gets up to close the blinds, but remembers the young hot thing dressed in a mask and little black dress, when her rolls over, all he finds are cold sheets and a note. Never getting her name or anything he has to hope for next year. Beatrice is getting ready for Thanksgiving with her roommates when she reads a letter from Grandpa saying he's misses her, she feels something is off, and goes to visit. After hearing he plans to sell the family farm, she decides to move home. Fast forward to next Halloween, Roman shows up, but not his mystery girl. He's not sure if that is good it bad, maybe she was so good because of my dreams about her. Six months later he shows up at Nia's and they are taking. They go thru pictures from Halloween, he ask about the year before, she pulls then up and he instantly sees the mystery woman. He asks about her, and find out it's Nia's old roommate Beatrice, and she moved home. Roman is on the hunt now. Can he rekindle what they had. When he shows up, no one knows who he is taking about. (He forgot to ask her last name). Finds out there are no Beatrice the. But suggest visiting the Hollow Days. He finds her but she goes by Bitsy now. Bitsy is shocked to see Roman standing there. She recognizes his eyes. Can they head the rift? What will they discover about each other since neither one really knows the other. What will Roman say when he finds out she was a virgin and is hiding. A HUGE SECRET? Got to read how these two come together and find happiness.

I have some mixed feelings on this one. On the one hand, I enjoyed it. It was entertaining and had something different going on from most stories I've read. On the other hand, the main characters' backgrounds were very glossed over, and I wanted to know more. Roman had some falling out with his family about a family business that was never identified, and his father is a real jerk. Beatrice came from a farm in a tiny town after being mostly raised by her grandparents. And that's about it for background.

Summary....(spoilers ahead!)

21 year old virgin attends best friend/roommate's Halloween party somewhat unwillingly. Her asshole ex is there hitting on every girl at the party (including her.) Roommate's MUCH older, self-made-billionaire cousin attends as well. Never says a word but keeps appearing in the background, watching her. Then, inexplicably, they are kissing hot and heavy, he cavemans her to his hotel and takes her virginity (which he does not seem to notice, and she never mentions to him) sans condom (very irresponsible billionaire!) Almost the only words spoken between them the entire time are when he says he's taking her to his hotel, and she gives a half-hearted protest. They never even exchange names. She leaves him a "same time next year" note and vanishes when he's sleeping.

21 year old no-longer virgin ends up going to visit grandfather in the very tiny and quaint town she grew up in, and stays to help him get his farm running properly again. Billionaire returns a year later for Halloween, and searches for his mystery woman but she's a no show. 6 month's later, still obsessed (because he can't stop thinking about her, though everything has been so "fast forward" without telling about any of that time in between, you never get the feel for that, so you're just not emotionally invested in these characters.) he finally finds out from his cousin who she is, and goes on a search.

He finds her with an almost 1 year old daughter who looks just like him, and she is determined to avoid him. He wants to know mother and daughter, and be a proper father. (The news about fatherhood had a pretty underwhelming reaction from him, almost like it was news he received every day.) He hangs around town after she reluctantly agrees to let him know them.

From that point, the focus changes from them building any sort of family dynamic to them trying to "save the farm" with some crazy haunted house scheme that has the entire town up in arms, and quickly turns into this great "history of the farm" mystery. 90% of the focus is on the farm stuff, and Roman fighting with the ancient coffee-maker and learning how to make palatable coffee with it.

Finally, they kiss, have sex again, declare their love (because lets face it, they took so much time getting to know each other!! Not.) and become a real family, and he becomes a resident of the town. The billionaire with his huge business and chain of fancy hotels, moves to podunk to live in a little house on a farm with his little family

Audiobook Review:

At times I felt like this was a book that I should have just given up on. But I like to be an optimist when it comes to my romance books, so I kept listening in hopes that this story would get better. After everything was said and done though, the only thing I truly could say was a positive for me with this book was the narrator. He was new to me, but I felt like he did a pretty good job with what he had to work with. I’d like to hear him on something else in future.
This story however has me uncertain if I ever want to try any other books by this author. I didn’t like the timeline flow for example. I felt like there was a big chunk of important time that was skipped over in this story. Time that could have possibly given me a better connection with the leading lady at least, even if the leading man wouldn’t have been around. And then it was made worse by the time spent telling scary stories later in the audio. I don’t listen to horror. Its just not my thing. Nothing against it as a genre, and more power to the people who like it. But it’s not for me. And I certainly didn’t expect to have to hear it thrown into my romance. Just because the venture the characters were trying to start up was Halloween/Horror related, didn’t mean we the listeners needed to have the stories told to us. Especially when it kind of ended up being irrelevant after everything was said and done.
And then there was the issue for me that the leading lady really wasn’t very likable. Maybe I didn’t get to know her well enough, but what I did know, I didn’t really care for. She seemed overly critical of the leading man when she didn’t even really give him a chance. She made a lot of assumptions about him and then when he came back in the picture she was really hard on him when I didn’t feel he did anything to deserve it. The leading man actually turned out to be much more relatable then she was even if I would have liked to see more effort made to spend time with his child instead of being so caught up in trying to win over the mother.
The final point that made this story so unenjoyable for me was how the couple went from fighting and completely disconnected to hooking up and ready to profess their love. I felt like 90% of this story (and it’s probably really more than that) was spent with them fighting or not getting along, and then 10% was spent hooking up or suddenly together. I didn’t feel like their actual relationship grew or was developed at all. It was like the author suddenly remembered in the end that this was supposed to be a romance and the couple needed to end up together so she threw an ending together really quick and expected no one to notice. But I did. And it all left a bad impression for me. For a book that had good promise from the blurb, it really didn’t live up to that promise at all.

I received an arc of this book for a fair and honest review. Let me start by saying this book starts out great with really cute banter between Nia and Bea. Their conversation just flows. Mia and Bea are on a mission. Both girls need to find suitable Halloween costumes for a party the next night. While shopping Bea learns that Nia is in a rush to get home because she has to go to a family reunion and she is psyched about seeing her black sheep cousin billionaire Roman. Who is pushing 40. Even though the family reunion is a bust for Roman he agrees to stay another day so he can attend Nia’s Halloween party. It’s at the party that Roman first sees Bea, who is mildly inebriated. After Bea’s Douchey ex causes a cat fight between two other women the party begins to wind down and Bea finds herself being carried to a masked strangers car. Destination masked man’s hotel penthouse. BTW Bea is a virgin. When Roman had woken up alone the next morning he found a note on his pillow with a let’s meet again next next Halloween same time and place. Stevie Wonder can see where this is going. When Bea gets a disturbing phone call from her grandfather she goes out to his farm after thanksgiving. Learning that he can’t keep up the family homestead he is ready to sell. Bea begs for one last season and promises to be home for Christmas. One Year Later Nia’s Halloween party. Roman was back, waiting for his mystery woman. But Bea was a no show. Six months later....Roman is back at Nia’s and they are going through old photos...Roman sees the Halloween party photos where he met Bea. Nia is stunned because all she knew was that Bea had hooked up with a stranger that night and now she knows it was her cousin Roman. When Roman finds out that Bea went home to Whiskey Hollow and never returned he gets her address from Nia...looks like Roman is going to whiskey hollow. The confusion regarding Beatrice, Bea and Betsy is lol funny. As a super fan of The Gilmore Girls I couldn’t help but make some comparisons...even before we meet Lorelei. Don’t think you’ve already read this book before. Roman doesn’t sweep in and whisk Bea of to a “mansion in the sky” nope...You haven’t already read this story. R. R. Banks turned this genre on it’s rear. This was such a fun read. The dialogue was so realistic, the pacing was fast and the characters were well developed. Highly recomme

Roman is a tough, hard-working alpha male who is also a playboy but with the good lucks and charm that just oozes off the pages so that Beatrice [or Bea or Bitsy her other known names] will always remember giving up her virginity to him in a one night stand. Bitsy is a young woman with determination, knows what she wants and does her very best to get it. They meet when she is out of town and at a party. Roman knows that she is not like the other women he's been with. She's special. She's possibly The One for him. The next morning, she's also gone and he doesn't know how to find her! Bitsy heads to her home in a small town in the south as she now has a secret from Roman. It was so much fun watching Roman change from a self absorbed womaniser to a man on a mission to find Bitsy as he's fallen hard for her and wants to make her his. As we see him change you can understand fully why Bitsy falls in love with him. And when he meets their baby girl for the first time...awwwww! All you Mums will know what I mean when your husband sees his children for the very first time..we just fall in love with them even more :) I just thought this story was fantastic as it had it all: passion, hot steamy sensuous scenes, caring, humour, protectiveness, determination to make them work as a couple & family, and LOVE. In Accidental Daddy, RR Banks has surpassed himself and produced such a beautiful story that I will re-read again and enjoy it just as much as the first time. Grab this as it is a real page turner and winner! If you are new to RR's stories then this one will turn you into one of his fans like so many of us are already. I received an arc of this book and voluntarily leave my honest review of it here.
DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED.

Nia was gluing black fur to her thong and panties for a Halloween costume while Beatrice continued to argue that she would not wear a thong and bra in public. This was for a big party that Nia threw every year in the hotel where she worked… and where lots of rich men would attend the party. Beatrice again insisted she would not wear the Koala bear outfit Nia was creating for them. Instead, she would dress as a bee. Nia said flat out no, she could not buzz the guests all evening as a bee! But for now, they would go out for last-minute midnight groceries for the party!

At the crazy party Nia throws, Beatrice meets Roman who rescues her when the party gets wild. Their rendezvous results in a surprise pregnancy. Beatrice, pregnant, returns to the family farm. Roman, not able to stop thinking of her, tracks her to Whiskey Hollow. Will he learn Beatrice’s secret surprise? Will he overcome her stubbornness not to accept him?

Perfect read for the fast-arriving Halloween Season! This book is full of humor, family, and mystery! The story line moves along quickly and keeps the reader happy and entertained. You’re going to love it! Beatrice is a strong character, standing up for herself and pushing back when necessary. Nia is the crazy friend we all remember fondly. She keeps things happening and the laughter usually follows her. Roman is a sweetheart and has lots of changes to go through now that he’s ready for a relationship! This is a really good book, not to be missed!

When I purchased "Accidental Daddy" I was expecting the typical romantic fare. However, this book still has me reeling because it was not what I expected at all. Instead of a romantic read, it is more of a romance, mystery and suspense novel that somewhat suffers from an identity crisis.

Beatrice or Bitsy attends a Halloween bash given by her roommate, Nia where she hooks up with a Billionaire, Roman and unknown to her Nia's cousin. Then she goes home to Whiskey Hollow where she decides to stay and have the baby she is now carrying from her one night of passion with Roman. At the second Halloween bash, Roman is expecting to run into the woman who stole his imagination but instead he discovers she has moved away. He goes in search of her and that is where he discovers he is a father of a beautiful baby girl named Lorelei.

So, as Roman attempts to get to know his daughter and win the heart of the woman he thinks he loves, he finds that if he is to succeed he will have to help Bitsy save the farm her grandfather is so dead set of selling. Two different world collide and if they are to combine there will have to be some serious give and take of both these character's part. While I enjoyed the overall plot I have to say that I was totally confused as to why the author spent so much time on some details that really were so meaningless. She writes pages and pages of detailed recipes and leaves of some crucial details that I wanted to know such as what happened to Bitsy's mother? Oh well, I guess you cannot have it all.

I thought the premise of this book could have been so much better compared to what it was I had a hard time getting through the book Roman was honestly the only reason I keep going while I knew it was not going to happen I keep hoping he would find someone besides Beatrice I wanted to love this book just because of Roman he was wonderful kind, good looking, responsible and would make a wonderful partner and father, in contrast, Beatrice was annoying maybe becuase she was so young (why do they always have to be like 19?). I thought that Roman really gave more then he should have and Beatrice was horrid to him over and over I could not like her she was so full of anguish and was just downright mean to him for most of the book. There was a lot of I cant be with him to oh I love him but I never felt a connection between them, this is one of the first books I have rooted for them not to make it and just make a good parenting plan. I would have done one star except I did finish it and I liked Roman and Nia. Also, side note who loses their cell phone in the pumpkin patch and does not get a new one for like a year that is just too much in fact most of this was too much if you are going to make the main character 19 at least make her have some sibilance of maturity. Needless to say, I did not read any of the bonus books and I am not sure I will read this author again I may see if her female characters grow up and are worthy of the main lads but we will see.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Wow, this book is an absolute gem that you NEED to READ! You did it again R.R. Banks!! An engaging, entertaining story and passion continue to keep you glued to the pages of this fascinating storyline. From the very first page, I was spellbound by these fantastically described characters that you will find yourself falling in love with. The story was well written, and I was immediately drawn in and my attention never wavered. The humor really played well with the rest of the story. Roman, a billionaire, who was very handsome and sexy as hell, and alpha male who is a billionaire and he knows exactly what he wants—he wanted Beatrice. Beatrice has a witty sense of humor and seems like a strong personality around her friend, Nia, but with men, she is shy. Beatrice’s roommate and best friend, Nia, is having a Halloween party. When Beatrice meets Roman at a Halloween party, sparks fly and Roman ask Beatrice to his hotel room for a one night stand. What Roman did not expect—Beatrice is a virgin! Find out if Roman and Beatrice will discover if what they shared was more than just a one-night stand. The scenes are well written, fast-paced and flow smoothly from one scene to the next. The book will pique your interest and draw you in from the beginning to the very end.

I got a free code from the narrator.

The narrator's voice was pleasant, the main down fall I had: it was hard to tell who's POV you were listening to. There was not enough switch in tone of voice to indicate who's head was thinking, so some times a few lines through me off until I realized the POV must have switched.

The story: It was SLOW, so slow.

One of the blurbs I read indicated Roman knew her had taken her v-card, but that is never even mentioned past the act and we are in B's POV knowing it happened.

He is 40's she is young 20's

The Baby, for whatever reason, and I don't know why b/c it is in the title that this is clearly a surprise/secret baby trope, the baby (or even the pregnancy) is not revealed to the reader until Roman finds out. And then it feels like every time the child is mentioned in the story she is used more as a prop than an actual character. Neither parent interacts with her for long before handing her off to some other minor character.

I completely skipped the chapter that told the horror story. That is NOT my thing.

This just did not feel like a romance. Even when he did come to pursue her, it felt like two people from work who were paired up for a project and sorta became friends along the way. I just didn't feel any connection between the two characters.

Holy hotness! This book starts off with Beatrice, who has moved away from Whiskey Hollow to the city where she lives with the worldly and well-connected Nia. Nia's cousin Roman owns the hotel she works at, and when he comes to town for a family reunion gone wrong, she invites him to her Hallowe’en party the next night. Beatrice and Roman have one sizzling night together, and she leaves a note that says same time, next year. But next year rolls around and no Bea.

Roman is determined and resourceful. We didn't get to see what he was like before but now we see his determination and persistence in finding Beatrice, who is now Bitsy living back in Whiskey Hollow. Bitsy's grandfather used to have a thriving pumpkin patch & Bitsy doesn’t want him to sell, so she throws herself into finding ways to save it. And billionaire Roman joins right in but he has to win over Bitsy, granddaddy, his secret daughter, and the town. If you like stories where the hero steadfastly pursues his stubborn woman, small town characters are at their best (loved the editions of Holler Holler, scary stories, and recipes!), and sexy tricks and treats, this one is for you.

I found this to be a super enjoyable read, gratefully received an ARC, and have voluntarily reviewed it

All Gooey Inside🍰

Cute, funny, sexy sweet, and naaasssty good, this latest book by author R.R. Banks had me feeling all sticky and gooey🍰 inside from the very first page to the last! It's a tongue in cheek and laugh out loud romp through the life of Beatrice, a quirky, strange young woman who always sees the odd and weird side of every situation she gets herself into.

Beatrice💋💃 and her roommate, Nia are putting on a sexy Halloween costume party in order to try to snag some eligible rich men. Their choices of costumes have to be scanty and sexy, but not slutty. It's a fine line, and Nia is determined to push Beatrice💋 across it. Beatrice 💋💃won't wear the fur covered thong and bra that Nia is glueing together.
So, they go shopping.
The night of the party, Beatrice💋💃 still ends up looking like a streetwalker💃, but a mask helps her overcome her inhibitions, as well as scarfing down a bunch of drinks🍸🍸🍸. She ends up being carried off to a hotel by a tall, jacked💪 and shirtless man. No names, they are just dtf🍌🌋🍌🌋 all 🌙night.
Beatrice💃💋 was a virgin, but I guess that's history now......
YEHAW! Ride em Bareback🍌, Cowgirl!🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎

Great book! It's the most fun reading I've had in quite a while! You. Need. To. Read. This. Book.

I read this book, an ARC, and loved it!!! Beatrice "Bitsy" is going to a Halloween party that her roommate Nia is putting on. Nia glues black fur to a set of undies and tells Beatrice that she's going as a Koala. Beatrice refuses to wear a thong and bra in public. Beatrice finally goes wearing a dress and his made up by Nia and she looks hot with a mask to cover most of her face. Roman, a billionaire used to getting what he wants, enters the party and finds Beatrice. The party starts getting out of hand and Beatrice feels confident behind her mask and leaves the party with Roman. He is used to one night stands with no names etc. Roman takes her virginity but when he wakes up in the morning she's gone but she agrees to meet him at next year's Halloween party. Beatrice doesn't show up the following year. Roman is now driven to find her as she has stayed on his mind. A few days after the party he is looking at pictures with his cousin Nia and then requests to see pictures from last year. Nia and Roman realize that Beatrice and him hooked up last year. She gives him Beatrice address and then discovers he has a daughter,
Lorelei. Roman does everything in his powers to find win Bitsy's love and complete his family.

Disclaimer: I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

I really liked the setting for the story, it was very well written and feels like a real place that can be experienced and enjoyed and it's beautiful. I think the characters are cute together, not so much in what they say or do in each other's presence, but in the lack of. That seems to show their feelings towards each other much clearer than when they eventually came together. I feel like more focus could have been placed on developing the characters more, as well as the baby, and revealing more of their backstory because that seemed to play a part in their hesitancy in committing and trusting each other and in turn, is a big part of who the character is.

Halfway through, it felt like the story took a wrong turn and was focusing on something else instead, and hence neglected the main story and the characters. I wouldn't have mind more time focused on the raising of the child, or the interaction between the characters with the child, to put forth this 'accidental daddy' thing a little stronger.

Narration by Rodney Falcon is wonderfully done for this book, the emotions of the characters are well brought forth and the pacing is right.
