Billionaire's Baby

Rate this book
“It’s all about you,” he said to the little one beside him. “All I need is to take care of you…and to make lots of money for the both of us.”

Brodie Rogan’s baby-mama only wanted one thing from Brodie: his money. Since she wanted nothing to do with his son, billionaire player Brodie must prepare to face a new role in life, single fatherhood, with a strong emphasis on single. Feeling disgruntled and abandoned by the mother of his child, the former playboy has no plans to get involved with any new bunnies anytime soon, if ever. After all, what’s the point of being rich if he has to worry all the time about being taking advantage of?

When his tiny Thomas arrives, it is that new life rather than dead presidents that now dictates the terms of Brodie’s life, at least until he meets Cara Rodriguez, a walking, talking breath of fresh air, with a scorching hot body. Brodie only lets his guard down enough for a one-night stand, but little does he know that Cara will turn out to be good for him and his precious son. As hard as he tries, he cannot fight the heat and passion he feels when he’s around her.

Just when things appear to be perfect, will Brodie’s player ways ruin the best thing he and his little Thomas could have ever hoped for, or will Cara overlook his imperfections and love the billionaire and his baby?

Not my kind of book no hea

I don't like books that the man move from one woman to another and I don't like stories that don't have a HEA. I read to get away from reality.

This was a freebie that I skimmed and deleted. There 's no HEA here and I didn't care enough to find out whether their tale continues somewhere else.

Could have been better

The book is a steamy romance, I have to give the author that. I like the chemistry between Cara and Brodie and Brodie's love and dedication for his son but I found myself constantly putting this book down out of boredom. I also found the ending a little too disappointing as the story seemed to make us believe in a happy ending. There were also some unresolved issues in the book such as the return of his baby mama and him simply giving up in the end after just making a resolve in winning her back. Sure some battles can't be won and I was thinking there would be a sequel to the book but it seems like Book 2 follows another set of characters in the series. Would have loved it if the book at least had an epilogue, but the book fell short by being abrupt.

I did not realize this was not a stand alone book. I did not like the ending and was not interested in reading the others as I do not like where the story is going.

Billionaire ex-playboy is starting to get his groove back after his ex fling winds up pregnant and abandoned the baby giving him some custody. Ends up having nanny trouble all while trying to woo Cara into his bed and not his heart.

A couple hot nights in the sheets, she loves his baby, Thomas, and he loves her, but Daddy billionaire doesn't want to give up his love.
Add in some more many drama toss in baby mama court spice, a little bit of overhearing at the wrong time and bam boom you have a story.
Does not have a happy ever after and a lot of things are left unresolved.

I did notice some spelling errors and missing words so this may need more edit work. Other than that was a free kindle read so can't complain to much.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!

SPOILERS AHEAD....It is a shame I have to give this even one star. The blurb for this book is a misleadingat best and a lie at worst. There really is no romance. There is no HEA, in fact there is really no ending at all! What the blurb fails to say is, this book is a cliffhanger. There is no hero. There is no heroine. There are a few ( kind of) steamy scenes but, only a few.. The descriptions of those are not well written at all! There is no plot. It is disjointed. The grammar is horrendousand distracting. Even with all of these negatives, I considered purchasing the next book to read Brody & Cara's HEA. The issue with that is, book 2 goes off in an entirely different and confusing direction.

What? The author introduces all this conflict with the main character. .....and it doesn't go anywhere. Is there a sequel? Readers want to know what happens to Brodie and his infant son. We want happy ever after. I am afraid to read any more of this authors novels with endings like this. Will I always be disappointed in the way the stories end. I am not willing to take that chance.

She has a chance to expand on the conflicts and bring the story full circle, but she doesn't . Again, is there a sequel to this story???????

Where is her editor......aren't they suppose to help an author develop the stories to appeal to the massess. What a let down. Needless to say I will not take a chance on this author.

Wow

Is it me or do I think the nurse or Cara sister was behind the baby momma getting info. How she knew he was in love when they was in South America I am thinking the nurse was giving info and she was trying to get with him to get a piece. Also I notice Cara never gave him his credit card back.

Cara couldn't except his wealth she used every excuse she can to make him feel guilty he did all that work to be successful.
The baby momma want money she don't want that child.
It was a good story about him not being selfish but seeing what true love is. I just don't like the ending

No just no . Plus spoilers

I curse my need to always finish a book once I start it. The H was such a selfish ass. Yet the author kept trying to believe its all for his son. He's literally using the poor h. Is she really the h though? Well in this part of the book I guess she is . I have a hard time believing a guy so infatuated with someone is still checking out other women 😕. He's completely immature. "Well she most likely left me so I'm going to get drunk with my new hire " seriously?

Hmm, I’m glad this is was an e-book and no trees went down for it. He’s a sorry excuse for a man, seriously cringe worthy. She gives him every chance and he blows it every time. To top it off he pretty much cheated on her. No HEA.
The writing is awkward, the book doesn’t flow... it’s written from his POV, which could be interesting, but it’s not. The characters are very one- dimensional, there is absolutely no humor in the book.
I really wish I didn’t read it.

An interesting story told from the guy's point of view. That was really interesting to know his reasoning behind his actions. This was helpful since he kept doing things that were less than intelligent. I did not realize this was part one of three in a series (it wasn't listed in the description), so the ending was a surprise for me, leaving too many unanswered questions.

Is that all there is.?

I started reading this hoping it was going to get better but my expectations never were met. The pace was very slow, the verbiage felt redundant in many places and it left me hanging out to dry.

Meeehhh ending

The book moved at a good pace, choppy in places but it all came together... Until the end. Which was NOT well developed!! I expected more but was very let down.

Book is a quick read, maybe an hour or 2.

Written more like a synopsis with interludes for actual story and lots of sex.

Not the most interesting tale I've ever read, and with a miserable ending, and a new girl on the way in before his bed even cools. Just nasty, that part. I won't be buying another of these books

What's best for Thomas

I was really rooting for Brody & Cara to get together, but the way it ended was kind of a letdown to me. Poor Thomas was happy bei g with Cara then his biological mother showed decided to make a nuisance of herself, I'm still going to root for Brady & Cara.

Disappointing

For the most part,, this book was a good read until I got to the end. A huge let down with no H.E.A. for either of the main characters. Very disappointed with the ending, this could’ve been a 5 star read. SMH

Nice story

The story was great, enticing. Kept me on the edge of my toes, but the ending was sad. I was dumbfounded. Did the mother got custody of Thomas or were they given joint custody? What happened?

Truly Awful Read

This book is awful. Just awful.
A couple of typing errors which could have been overlooked but the weak storyline, non existent character development made it very difficult to finish.

Steamy

Enjoyable with steamy behavior, not erotica. Single dad that doesn't want to be hurt which makes it hard for him to love . His main focus is his baby.

Well, the ending sucked. The hero and heroine do NOT end up together and go their separate ways! What kind of romance is that?

A good book

I got another book that leaves you hanging without a satisfactory conclusion to the story. I would not recommend it for this reason.
