About the author

Bryan Lee O'Malley is a Canadian cartoonist. His first original graphic novel was Lost at Sea (2003), and he is best-known for the six-volume Scott Pilgrim series (2004 to 2010). All of his Scott Pilgrim graphic novels were published by Portland, Oregon-based Oni Press. In July 2014 his graphic novel Seconds was released by Ballantine Books. He is also a songwriter and musician (as Kupek and formerly in several short-lived Toronto bands).

Ok, so this comic continues to get weirder and weirder. I love the darker vibe we're getting, though, even if I wasn't really expecting it to go that way.
Ashley is a freaking creep and I wish he'd just drop out of the face of the Earth for good! Sunny is also getting super mysterious now and I don't know what to make of it... I thought he'd be the typical sweet boy next door?! Except he's not? What's going on??
I didn't get to see a lot of Lottie or any of the girls, but it's great to get inside the guys' heads as well. Would especially love to get a bit more John Cho in the future!
The fact that these issues are super short is a bit of a bother but I'll continue the series as it keeps intriguing me.

The world is small and all three guys (Ashley, Sunny and John) know each other and they all apparently have the hots for Lottie too, what in the world. Also, Virgil is everywhere and almost slips up in doing whatever he's doing because he went to check out Sunny...Yeah, I'm kind of confused about where the plot is going for this series.

Nice getting to view the other characters through the perspective of the men, as well as learning more about them. Even if Ashley is such a dick I hate him with a passion. But seriously, they need to be careful about the coloring, because you can't tell if it's Ashley or Sunny at the end, I'm guessing Sunny because of what's said, but it's Ashley's hair...

Ashley can't wait to bang someone before he becomes a husband to Normgirl while Sunny is trying his best to protect Charlene at all costs. Additionally, Virgil is in the zone to get some deets from Sunny and Detective John Cho needed a break from work~Suprise, he knows Sunny! I undeniably love this volume because the girls didn't appear much and interestingly, the guys are into Lottie :)).

Fun to view it from others perspectives but what is Virgil doing? He appers everywhere, it feels like if I go back and look in the earliest issues I would see Virgil there to.

I hate all the guys in the series. There character arc are not real. Sunny keeps by his girlfriend's side but calls up lottie for steamy times? Ashley is sex obsessed and that is all, no dimension. John is useless in the story up to now. Vergil is everywhere. This issue made me realize how much an issue these characters are.
