4 Stars
The reason why I rated this book 4 stars if for many reasons. I love the series and I will have to check out the rest of the series. I loved everything about this book from the beginning to the end. I have never read any of Skye Mackinnion book so I was not sure what her writing was going to be like, but while reading this I do not regret picking up this book. I can't wait to see what happens in the rest of the series. I would read this book more than once. I would recommend this book to
This is a free kindle book, so I didn't expect it to be amazing, but it actually wasn't too bad. It entertained me for a night and the romance was kinda good. I mean, the MC wasn't an amazingly written character, and she had some personality issues and kind of annoyed me, but she was ok for a quick read and I enjoyed the storyline. Plus there was humour that I enjoyed, so that was nice. I might continue the series for some fun, or it might just be one of those series that I say I'll continue and ...more

This book! I never knew how into reverse harem I was. But damn! This book was hot and sexy but also action packed and adventurous!

I started out reading this story by reading the episodes. I read through the first two episodes until I realized they were put into one novel. So my reviews of the episodes were only 4 stars because I was so upset at having to read them and review them

3 out of 5 stars

It was okey. I didn’t like it, but I didn’t hate it either. To me, it was average with some funny moments.

Things I liked: The author’s use of mythology, and how she added her own little twist to it. This made the book a little more enjoyable, along with some of the humorous banter Wyn had with her guardians (I laughed at some of it).

Things I didn’t like: The fact that Wyn mastered her magical abilities too quickly. Realistically, it should have taken her months to get at least

I purchased the e-book format of the Winter Princess in September of this year because there was mention of magic and demi goddesses. To be honest, I never read further than those two words so I did not know that this was classified as a reverse harem paranormal. It was not until the opportunity came for me to review the audio book I realised this. Therefore, I was skeptical about reading/listening to this title. Anyway, I moved past my skepticism and hoped I would have no regrets.

Not for me

This one is hard for me to rate, I kinda liked it, but didnt? I know, confusing, but to be honest this book confused me. We meet wyn who is a demi goddess who is living a human life with human adoptive parents. She's turning of age and is about to go with her goddess mother in the God realm, que in 4 guys and you have the makings for this reverse harem. But although I liked the storyline, this one fell flat for me, first of all she doesn't know how to use the magic that starts to

I enjoyed this book; it's a good beginning to a unique storyline. The narrator did a good job performing the story. At times, I was a little bothered by her voice when she was reading, but she did a great job with the Scottish accent of Arc (one of Wyn's guardians). I occasionally got annoyed with Wyn's character and how immature some of her inner dialogue was, but I hope she will grow as the series continues. I was really intrigued with the storyline and the inclusion of various mythological ...more

Great World Building

Book one in a brand new series and it's off to a great start. We get meet Wynter the daughter of the Queen who is a Goddess. This gives Wyn some awesome powers though she must reach a certain birthday to get them all but man is it life changing for her when they do. Four guardians show up to escort her to her mom with a one problem after the other along the journey. The world was just awesome and I love all the main characters already. I really liked it so I give it 4/5

Enjoyed the Book

It is quite a journey for Wyn. She is finally coming into her magic and meeting her mother again. Four guardians are set to protect her but the bonds grow stronger and more intimate.

It is well written and full of adventure and surprises. I enjoyed the first part of the story and would love to learn more

I read this book as it came out serial by serial and I must admit that I absolutely love it. In fact I like it so much that I am currently in with drawl waiting for more. It is a great book and now that it is in one single Omni bus I highly suggest you get it.

Of a mess but I liked the magic and the crisis. A little sexually overloaded but I liked the personalities. Bummed at the cliffhanger, wasn't a very good one.

I read this book as a serial and now it's combined into one awesome book! Wyn is an ordinary girl, or so she believes, but strange things start happening in her birthday and she winds up with four hot guardians who have come to take her home

The story is awesome, well written and has plenty of humour and snark from our intrepid heroine and her four gorgeous as sin guardians. There is romance, loss, excitement and danger.

This is such an enjoyable read, I have read it more than once, the mix of all

And another one of those Reverse Harem novels that people advised me turned out to be not as lovely and brilliant as I had hoped it would be. Maybe I'm already spoiled because I've read a few very very good ones and now expect that to be the standard, maybe I'm not in the right mood, it's hard to tell. If not impossible.

Once again I had trouble telling the four guys in the Harem apart. I think it's partly because Wyn never really seems to form a meaningful emotional connection with any of her

Do you ever have books that look so good that you buy it but just let it sit in your kindle library? It’s the book that sits in your TBR list with its beautiful cover and intriguing blurb but you just don’t start it because your TBR list is so freaking long? Well this book was that for me. I honestly can’t believe it took me so long to read it because it’s soooo freaking good.

I love that this book is written by a Scottish author

I had never read a reverse harem book before, but I have now! It is basically a girl having more than one love interest and indulging in that fact

So, this was fun. I was feeling a little slumpy and I went through the books on my Kindle and decided to go for this one. Actually, it was a good choice as a light read.

This is a paranormal romance novel centered around a young woman, who discovers she is a demi goddess and ends up with four hunky guardians. Yes, it is pretty smutty, but actually not

Every once in a while, I like to venture out of my comfort zone and listen to a book that is not my usual genres of choice. This one popped up at just the right time, I needed a break and Skye MacKinnon gave it to me! Wynter is a demigod that has reached the age where her magic would come into full force. Her mother has sent for her to come to the realm and to escort her are 4 guardians. I could not help but see these men as male muses and with that I kept it in my head as a Greek God type of ...more

I don't usually read reverse harem stories, though I have been pleasantly surprised by some recently. This book was a very pleasant surprise. The RH aspect was not overdone, and seemed an integral part of the plot. I decided to try this after reading Skye's "Meow" and thoroughly enjoying it. I'm glad I did; I've found yet another author to follow. The Amazon description tells everything you need to know, just start reading and enjoy the story. As usual with fantasy, take a big dose of ...more

I read each episode as it came out so being able to have them all together? Spoiled! But it was a fantastic set out as a serial and the author did a great job pacing it out well and not being too evil with the cliffhangers. And the interactions of Wyn with her Guardians were drool worthy and the sexual tension was through the roof!

And there was so much snark and humour going around but there are some serious moments and i like how Skye Mckinnon doesnt just have magic as something to take

Loved loved this listen. The author took an everyday lady and gave her powers . The authors imagination was surreal . The story is hot . With lots of petting and flirting.
Wyn thought she was an ordinary lady living with human parents. Little did she know she was Demi god . On her birthday after she reached a certain age her gifts were developed. One day her gifts were triggered off my her thoughts destroyed her home.
All of a sudden she had 4 guardians. Yes all were male . Frost , Storm ,

The narrator did an excellent job keeping everyone's voices separated. The cadence at the end of the narrator's sentences was a little distracting at times, I increased the speed and it was better. She did a great job on the different accents.

I enjoyed listening to the story. Clearly this the introductory book in the series and it is setting the stage for bigger and better things. We also get to know the characters as their relationships are built. Leaves me wanting more! Great writing, can't to

I love a good paranormal romance, and Winter Princess was just that. Good. Nothing more and nothing less. The story had plenty of potential, the synopsis lays it out for you so I won’t repeat it. I loved the characters, at times however I wanted more..... more what you say? I’m not sure, more feelings maybe. I felt like it was missing a little something that I just could’t put my finger on. Basically, I had no problem taking a break from the story, when I was listening to it I was engaged and ...more

I feel like this book had so much potential. The premise was unique and interesting, but the writing was horrible.

As I was reading I was mentally striking through all of the side thoughts/comments that Wyn was making. It seemed as though the author didn't believe in the strength of her writing and she wasn't convinced that the readers would "get it". A prime example was when she described something as huge and followed it up with, "and by huge I mean massive and ginormous."

Also there were so

I picked up this book because it was a reverse harem with a demigoddess as a main character. Winter Princess was a great journey of Wyn and her guardians trying to travel to the Realm of Gods. Wyn had a realistic and snarky personality that I loved and she faced many challenges from her new magic and a world that she’s never truly known. This book was filled with drama, adventure, uncontrollable magic, and a few steamy scenes. I can’t wait to see what happens next for Wyn, Frost, Storm, Crispen, ...more

Winter Princess is a wonderful story full of sexiness, action and some heartwarming moments. The story follows Wynter as she journeys to her mothers realm. She is escorted there by some very sexy men.

Skye does a magnificent job at combining fantasy and reality - making everything seem believable. There is never a dull moment, even when there is no intimate moments or action going on, she keeps your attention solely focused on the book.

I am totally in love with Wynter who is sassy, feisty and

The Winter Princess is a great reverse harem with lots of action and new info at every page turn.
It was originally a series, turned into an omnibus.
This is a fantasy book involving a demi-goddess (Wyn) and her guardians (Storm, Arc, Frost and Crispin) and her journey towards her mother's realm.
You have to pay attention to it every step of the way, and you'll want to, with those sexy man surrounding the MC. The relationship between MC an guardian builds at a fast pace as they run into challenges

What did I just read? After reading 5 stars reviews I was expecting A LOT more. I think I've read something totally different.

Basically, this first book is about going from the A place to B. Just that.

And I don't understand how the h is so laidback about being shared among the guys. I mean, it's not like she's read a lot of reverse harem books and it's normal for her, isn't it?

And the guys. I don't care about the guys. I don't feel a connection with them and I don't feel like I got to know them.
