Damaged Goods: A Single Dad & Nanny Romance is by Rye Hart.

The last year of Sean Evans life was not anything he ever thought he’d have to endure. His wife passed away a year ago from cancer and he is trying to both be a single parent, and help his two children through their grief. His son Tommy is seven years old and his daughter, Sarah is five. Before his wife died, she shared some news with Sean that rocked his foundation to it’s very core. Now, he finds himself dealing with an anger that threatens to overcome him each and every day. Sean is an attorney in San Diego but since his wife’s death, his heart hasn’t been in it. After a year, he decided it would be best for all three of them to relocate. So he moved his family to the small town of Telluride, Colorado.

little boy and girl

Even with the new house, Sean is having trouble dealing with the kids and getting unpacked. He needs help. Through his neighbor, he gets the name of a woman that has a great reputation for her way with kids. Maybe it’s time to ask for help.

Emily Ward’s dream was to open her own child care center. But with a truck load of college debt, she can’t get the loan she needs. So she needs some income now. When she got the call from the new family in town for a nanny position, she jumped at the chance. The only thing that worried her was his reputation for being surly. As long as the kids got along with her, that’s all that would matter, though, right?

Sean’s reputation was spot on. He was moody and rude. But she quickly fell in love with the kids. Even with Sean’s behavior, Emily found herself extremely attracted to him. She saw something underneath all that rudeness. She saw a man that was struggling, grieving, and trying to find his way. She was determined to make his life easier on him, to help this family deal with their grief.

EMandLO.com is a daily blog about sex, love and everything in between. Read more about this risque blog post for Valentines Day on blog.pubslush.com

Every day that passes has Sean becoming more and more obsessed with the new Nanny. She’s all he can think about. But the kids love her and he can’t risk acting on his attraction to her, can he? Plus, he’s still grieving his wife. But as each day passes, it becomes impossible not to do something one way or another. He would either have to act on how he is feeling, or let her go.

sexy times

So the reason I gave this book a bit of a lower rating is I just could never find my way to really like the Hero, Sean. I understood the pressure he was under. But his treatment of Emily really was rude. He would shut her out completely for no reason at all. I had to give her credit for hanging in there and putting up with him. But, in his defense, with her help, he realized that this behavior just wasn’t acceptable and improved. And I am rounding up the rating to four stars because it had an adorable ending. I love books with kids and these two were so cute. They had to experience so much loss in their young lives. Emily had such a wonderful way with them.

All in all, the book was a bit of a disappointment. I wanted to feel more connection to the characters. But I did enjoy it.

I think that this was a pretty good book. More plot than I am used to from a Rye Hart book which was surprising but welcomed.
You have Sean who was a high profile Lawyer but gave it up to move his children somewhere small to start fresh. His wife Telissa dies from cancer the year before and he is doing everything that he can to keep their spirits up even though he himself is depressed. But not because she died although that makes him sad as well but because right before she died she told him that thier daughter Sarah wasn't his. And now the father was looking to take her back.
When he made it to his new town he needs help with the kids this is where Emily comes in. Of course they fall in love and have their HEA.
A few things that I had to roll my eyes at,
He wrote a book and the publisher picked it up the next day? In what world!!! Maybe it could happen but I have never heard of anything like that before.
And when Sean was being a jerk, the only explanation was writer block..... NOPE.
I did enjoy the book.

Such an emotional read that pulls at your heart!!
Sean just lost his wife to a lengthy battle to cancer. His children lost their loving mother. The theee of them go through so many emotions!! They battle with anger, hurt, confusion and ultimately grief.
During her battle with cancer Sean's wife admits to an affair and his daughter is not really his. The biological father is started to show some interest. Sean has had enough he uproots his children Tia new city trying to start over!! He is in need for a nanny. Enter Emily!! She is so sweet and kind!! She's just so beautiful that Sean regrets hiring her. He is so attracted to her that he ends up letting her go. The kicker is there is no one else so he has to hire her again!! For his kids sake he's going to keep his distance. Harder said than done!!
The chemistry between the couple is off the charts hot!!! Their love story is beautiful!! I love their ending!!
Fanatic story!! Great characters!! Would totally recommend!!

I loved this book. The storyline between Sean and Emily was well written. Sean moved his family to a quiet small town, running away from a secret. He is a widower and a single father to Sara and Tommy. He carries a lot of anger and guilt because he didn't know how lonely his wife was. He was a successful Lawyer and didn't spend a lot of time with his wife and kids. Emily just graduated college and loved kids. She wanted to open a child day care center but couldn't get a loan. Sean loved his loves but he needed help. His neighbor gave his Emily's number. The kids loved her and he was attracted to her, after two day of lust for her he fired her. This is a story about a man and his children learning to cope with loss and building a future filled with love and happiness. This story will make you laugh and then cry, it has sexy steamy sences, love and a HEA ending. I give this book 5 stars. I voluntarily reviewed this Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

DAMAGED GOODS is a steamy contemporary romance about a brooding single dad and a sweet nanny. This book had some angst because of what happened to the hero which led him to run away to create a new life for himself, but I loved that Emily was so patient and kind. She changed him and encouraged him to pursue his dreams. Sean was imperfect in that he was moody but he was also very passionate and he wore his heart on his sleeves. I love men who are not afraid to cry. I FLOVED this novel! This is my first Rye Hart book I've read and I can say that I'm truly impressed. And I plan on reading more books from her.

I have read an advanced copy of this book and this is a fair and honest review and recommendation voluntarily shared.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this copy. Man, Rye Hart just can do no wrong! Sean and Emily's story was great! This story had so much of real life issues that do happen often and it's so sad but this turned out great in the end! Also, there were some pretty steamy parts in this book which is always a great thing, right?? :)

This was a pretty good read. It's really easy to read and doesn't require too much thought.

The main characters are Sean and Emily. Sean is a single dad who's wife died of cancer leaving him to raise their two children. In order to do so properly he feels he needs to move away from the life he's known. To a new place where he can raise his kids. Once he gets there however he quickly realises that he needs help. Enter Emily a girl who finds herself useful when looking after Sean's children. The two main characters fall hard and fast.

The secondary characters are mainly Sean's children.

The storyline is good and simple, it isn't the most original but it is a quick and easy read. The pacing is OK.

This was an enjoyable read. Sean's wife dies and now he decides to take off with the kids. He is trying to just get away from everything. In comes Emily who he ends up hiring as the nanny. She is the first woman he has had any interest in since his wife's passing. Things were going great but he has trouble opening up. Then on top of that he has to deal with the fact that his now dead wife made quite the mess before and now he might lose his daughter. Thankfully in the end it all works out though.

As much as i went into this attempting to like it, this wasn't my type of read.

The synopsis was enough to reel me in but reading the first 10 chapters ...there was no individual voice to these characters and a lot of assuming and judgment and it just wasn't my type of read at the moment.

I may try reading this again at a later time.

Sean is so arrogant and rude but he is a grieving soul mourning the death of his young wife to cancer. Left with two small children and the hurt from a devastating secret his wife revealed on her death bed. He thinks maybe a change of pace will help. He leaves his lucrative law practice and moves to a small town. It's almost more than he can handle without the help of family and friends. So he hires Emily as a nanny. The attraction is there but he fights it and continues to be rude and even fires her at one time. This book was really an emotional roller coaster, but a great read. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book. No cliffhanger and an HEA

This is a fast-paced read with lots of drama and emotion. Sean has been through a lot and has moved to a small town in Colorado to keep his family together. Sean hires Emily as a nanny and his kids and they love her. Sean does his best to keep his heart hardened towards her but the attraction is undeniable. I really liked this read, great characters and a wonderful story. I really liked it!

5 very emotional, heart stopping stars!!!!

Sean has decided to move his two children from California to a small town in Colorado a year after their mother passed away. He believes that they need a fresh start and unfortunately when his wife got sick with cancer a year after their daughter was born things just seemed to go down hill from there. Telissa was sick for three years and during that time she was still a loving mother to her children, but she also informed Sean that she had an affair and that their daughter, Sarah wasn't his. Sean stuck it out with Telissa until she passed but he was still very angry that she had an affair and he felt he was still Sarah's dad no matter what. Just before he left Sarah's biological father contacted him and said he was ready to take care of her and that also made Sean angry, so he thought it best they move and start again.

Emily is trying to make her dreams come true. She got herself a degree in child development and wants to open a her own child care facility. Everyone in her small town is always calling for advice and help with their children. She's just not having a lot of luck getting a loan so she's taking any child care jobs she can get at the moment.

Sean figures out real quick that he needs help with his kids and when his neighbor mentions Emily he calls her to see if she is interested in a nanny job and they decide to have her come over the next day to meet him and his kids. The children get along with Emily right away and Emily jumps right in and makes everyone breakfast and they end up falling into an easy routine for the first couple of days. Except there is definitely sexual tension between her and Sean. Sean makes a snap decision and fires Emily on the second evening she is helping out. Emily is not sure what happened she really thought the children liked her and that everything was going well.

After a few days Sean tries interviewing a few new people to help him out and all the candidates are unacceptable. One seems to think all children need some kind of strict exercise program, the next is a fifteen year old with a father who threatens Sean about touching his daughter before the interview even starts and the last one shows up an hour late and is clearly on some kind of drugs and Sean promptly tells her to leave. He breaks down and realizes that he needs Emily back so he calls her up and they meet for coffee. He talks Emily into being his children's live-in nanny and apologizes for being a jerk.

The sexual tension is still pretty high between them and after they share a kiss Sean starts being standoffish with her again.

Grab this exciting, emotionally charged book today to see if they can work it out before Emily decides she's had enough and ends up quitting. Can the children and Sean move on from Telissa or is this all just going something that is doomed to fail. These characters are so wonderful, the story is so emotional and it still has some very romantic scenes as well. I couldn't put it down and loved every emotional minute of it. I definitely recommend this book as a must read for anyone who loves an emotionally charged romance. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Sean was on the road, his two children in the backset, making the long drive to Colorado even longer. Tommy, his serious 7-year-old, worried about whether they were doing the right thing. But Sean had received an email saying 5-year-old Sarah’s biological father wanted to take her away from him, and he could not allow that. Even finding out about the affair his wife had, he still considered Sarah his own daughter and loved his children completely. So they would start over in Colorado and he would be ready to fight a custody battle when the time came.

Emily complained to her friend over dinner about the difficulty in getting a loan in the small town. She wanted to open a childcare facility now that she had her degree in child development! Other facilities barely met the minimum requirements, but she wanted to encourage learning and development of the children. Then Janie told her about the hot newcomer in town. The waitress had snapped his picture secretly to show it around.

Things were not going well for Sean. Tommy and Sarah fought continuously and Sarah refused to eat breakfast. Sean threw it away, knowing that by lunchtime, she would probably eat – however, she kicked Tommy’s chair the whole time until they were fighting yet again! By the time the neighbor came over with brownies, Sean was feeling he needed help to get through the summer. Mrs. Johnston recommended Emily Ward and offered her phone number to him. When Mrs. Johnston left and the kids finished their brownies, they started fighting over what movie to watch! All doubt about calling Emily faded away as he picked up the phone to dial!

Emily arrived early the next day. Janie’s description of the man had not done him justice! He was gorgeous and well-built. But he was standoffish and not very friendly. The kids studied her until she mentioned that she could cook – that made all the difference! Even Sarah, who doubted her culinary skills, admitted that the food was great. They went off to the park and it was obvious that the kids really liked her. But Sean remained aloof and avoided her.

By the time dinner was ready, he knew he had to make a decision. If he could not stop the sexy thoughts that were tearing him up, he would have to fire her. He had no other option. He ignored her through dinner, but when she tried to help him dry the dishes, he could not take it any more. He saw how confused she was, but she was professional and left. Would the children react badly to losing someone they already depended on and enjoyed? Would Sean go back to closing himself off from everyone? And he still had Sarah’s biological father threatening to take her away. How would his future sort out now?

This was a wonderful book that I enjoyed reading. The story line drew me in, seeing a man who loved his children so much, yet kept himself so isolated to avoid the pain of loss ever again. The characters were well developed and touched the reader’s emotions. This book is not to be missed – you will love it and eagerly read on to find out if everything turns out right in the end.

A Love that Repairs a Damaged Soul

The past makes our present and influences our future, coloring our experiences with the shades of pain or joy as life unfolds. In Rye Hart’s tale Damaged Goods focuses on the potential power of past pains as they impact today. She explores how the individual can be victim or agent in shaping future experiences.

Sean Evans has had his heart broken twice by the same woman—his wife, Telissa—once when betrayed him with another man, and again a year ago when she died of pancreatic cancer leaving him grieving her death and struggling to comfort their two children, Tommy 7 and Sarah 5. Now, he is relocating his grieving family from San Diego, California to Telluride, Colorado. Publicly, his reason for leaving his law firm where he was a partner and relocating was to provide a new start in a new place where he and the children could heal, but more importantly, this relocation is to hide. Sean soon discovers that uprooting his family and relocating to a new state is a breeze compared to single parenting while grieving and attempting to comfort grieving children. He needs help.

With boxes still not emptied and his head and heart not in the game, Sean embraces a suggestion from his grandmotherly neighbor—hire a nanny, specifically a local girl, Emily Ward, who having graduated from the state university with a degree in child development has returned to town and has become the go-to babysitter for the community while she tries to pay off student loans in order to gain financing for her dream day care.

Sean soon discovers that Emily is just what his family needs—she understands how to reach his children, cook and put his world in order. She is perfect—too perfect. No matter how wrong it is and how much he tries to distance himself from Emily, he can only think of her sexually. The lawyer in him only sees trouble ahead, and so he fires her before he acts on his desires and seduces her. As for Emily, she is having a terrible few days—hired and fired in less than a week from a job she loves and dealing with the ongoing pursuit of her creeper/wannabe boyfriend, Tanner, who doesn’t hear or understand the word “No.” And, while she has zero interest in the wannabe Tanner, she soon discovers that she really is drawn to Sean.

Damaged Goods is a touching affirmation of new beginnings and second chances in life. The damage done in the past does not close the heart to healing and loving..

🖤 ~ My Thoughts ~ 🖤
Typically I steer clear of widowed heroes in romance because I’m pretty picky about what I like and don’t like about a dead ex trope. I took a chance on this one and I’m glad I did. Although the blurb does promise some drama and angst, I loved that Emily handled things the way she did. She didn’t become a doormat for scraps of affection and she always stood up for herself. And with Sean running hot and cold with her, Emily got a lot of practice.

Sean definitely deserved being shaken up a bit (especially in the beginning) and Emily put up with a lot from him but I can sympathize. He is dealing with a lot and not everyone can handle it gracefully. The chemistry between these two was hot. I even liked the pushing and pulling away between them because the makeup was always worth it, lol! There is a little bit of the forbidden romance trope here that spiced things up but there is also some outside drama that felt a little awkward.

Ultimately I liked it, especially because I felt that Sean saw Emily as special and different. He wasn’t still in love with the dead wife and he shows that Emily wasn’t second best. He genuinely loved her and there was never any comparisons between the two women – which is one of my pet peeves – so plus points!

Side note: I loved Tommy and Sarah! They were so earnest and lovable! The author did a great job of showcasing the unique family dynamic and building on that family feeling throughout the book. They were both prominent characters that helped flesh out the story.

Quick Summary
Sean is still mourning his wife and reeling from a secret she kept from him that is threatening to tear his family apart. In a desperate attempt to protect his kids from the fall out, Sean moves them to a small town and tries to settle into the single parent life.

When he hires local, Emily to watch his kids, Sean struggles with the instant attraction he feels for the younger woman. He can’t resist her pull for long but with all the emotional trauma he’s still processing, things become more complicated than either one expected. Damaged Goods is a story of loss, family and taking another chance on love.

Heat Level: 4/5

Rye Hart has quickly grown to be one of my favorite authors. The way each story is written shows that it comes from the heart. The tone and plot for each story is astounding and draws you into the story, and the characters all have a way of making you feel what they're feeling as you read along. This story is no different, and I honestly believe it could be the best one I've read in a while. Damaged goods is such an exceptional and emotional read. From the very beginning I was drawn in and completely invested in the story. I honestly hated to see the ending, but was in tears for various reasons throughout the book. Sean and the children had already been through so much with losing Telissa, but when other obstacles comes into play, it just made me want to hug them all up tight and help them get through it all. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this book, even the emotional scenes.

Sean and his kids had been through so much, but when the man that's supposedly Sarah's biological father suddenly wants to be a part of her life and take her from Sean, he decides it's time to move to a new location and start his little family over again. When Emily first becomes the kids nanny, he's so overwhelmed with attraction for her that he fires her and attempts to find someone new. Unfortunately, there is no one else that he trusts with his children and he grudgingly gives her another chance. Emily has her hopes set on opening her own childcare facility, but hasn't been approved for the loan she needs to make it happen. When she starts working with tommy and Sarah, she falls in love with them immediately. Sean is a little hard to take with his brooding and rollercoaster of emotions. He's hot and cold and she never knows which mood he'll be in. When his best friend Phillip comes for a visit, things change and the truth of his reasoning behind his moodiness comes out. They make the perfect little family and they've all become extremely close. Yet again, things take an emotional turn and so many things happen in such a short time, but these events only bring them closer together. This amazing little family finally gets their HEA, and a whole new start on life right along with it.

Sean's life falls apart when his wife dies. Before she dies, she tells him the truth about Sarah Telissa has Sean promise to look after Sarah, his daughter. Sean decides to sell his share in law partnership business and head to a small town. He buys a property and is set to start new career as a writer. Emily has graduated from college and is looking for work. She has run ins with a ln unwanted suitor who doesn't accept no for an answer. She accepts a job offer from Sean to take care of his children. Two days on the job and Sean inexplicably fires her. Sean fires her because he is physically attracted to her, he's conflicted because he is a widower, his wife dying recently, he is grieving, and he has two young children who are upset having lost their mother. A few days after firing her he is calling her to return. She does. A visit and home truths from Sean's best friend Sean and Emily;go ahead to build a relationship together. Emily builds a supportive, caring and attentive relationship with Tommy and Sarah. As his life changes and he allows happiness in his life he continues to write. But just as Emily has found her happiness a person from her past accosts her leading to Sean saving her. Sean opens up to Emily about his writing. But once he does, he shuts down and pushes her away. However Sarah's biological father finds them. Will Sarah be separated from Sean? This is such an amazingly crafted story. I've not read a contemporary romance quite like it, especially issues dealing with paternity custodial arrangements and told from a male perspective. The writing is an easy, engaging style; the characters are fleshed out and given a realistic depth. The children are primary characters not secondary like found in many stories of this trope. The plot is fast paced, and story told from both Sean and Emilys POV. There are some really sexy, hot and steamy scenes that are sensually written. There is an epilogue and a HEA! Recommended!

Rye Hart has done it yet again and created a fantastic, page turner with a unique storyline [not the same as so many of the nanny/older man ones that have been published lately] and all the emotions and hot, steamy sex scenes! Sean is recently widowed and, because of a reason that you need the book for, he has moved himself and his two children from San Diego to Colorado. After what has happened he wants to try to just keep the three of them dependent on no one else but themselves. However, after two days of trying to cope with two lively children - did I mention noisy too?, he folds and asks a neighbour if they could recommend someone to be a nanny for them. Sweet Emily who is fully qualified to be a nanny, as well as stunning, curvy in all the right places, marvellous with the children who love her, a fantastic cook and can do no wrong as far as the children are concerned, But Sean is wildly attracted to her and he daren't let his heart be crushed so he fires her. But there is no one else that will do! So Emily returns and Sean will just have to try harder! No spoilers, but for anyone new to reading a book by Rye Hart, you are in for a treat. Her characters are so real and her writing sucks you into the story. You'll need to have a fan or air con to be ready to switch on as the temperature goes sky high when these two get together. It is a very touching book as well and it deals with grief and having the confidence to trust someone. As you can probably tell, I definitely recommend this to you. It's a beautiful story that I will want to read again which is the test for me whether the story is good and this one is great :) I received an arc of this book and voluntarily leave my honest review her

This is the story of Emily and Sean, Sean is troubled, sad, father of two. He is a widower who not only has to recover from his wife's death, but her infidelity as well. He is conflicted, bobbing out in a sea of emotions and has to try to drag himself up and be the father his son and daughter need. That being said, he drops his career as a layer and moves them out of state to a small town. Problem with this is he no longer has family/friend support system near and is floundering with caring for the children. Enter Emily. She becomes their nanny (she's got a degree in child development and is great with kids). Slowly, the openness, kindness, encouragement, support and love, she helps the kids through their difficult transition. Dad, on the other hand, resists her getting close. He was hurt and does not want to go through that again so he lashes out at Emily, because, how dare she make him FEEL again! I have no idea how Emily was so patient with him (I guess her studies in "child" development taught her that patience?) There were so many times I wanted to boot him in the backside for the rollercoaster he puts Emily on! Oh, don't get me wrong - she snapped back sometimes. But others, she just waited him out and accepted him back in her arms. Sean is the definition of damaged goods and the patience and compassion Emily had for this little family showed through in her character. I had just wished Sean didn't seem so whiny some times. Overall, I thought it was a touching story of surviving grief and heartache through trust and love.

Sean is running from a man who wants to take his daughter. Sean was a lawyer in San Diego, he was married to Telissa and they had two kids, a boy Tommy and a girl Sarah. When Telissa got cancer and was dying she confessed that she had an affair and Sarah was not Sean’s. When Sean got a email from a man who wants his daughter Sean moved to Telluride, Colorado. Sean was having a hard time dealing with the kids in Telluride. His neighbor recommended someonefor him. Emily is back in Telluride after completing college, she has a degree in child development. Emily wants to open a child care center. She has a guy Tanner who she went to school with who is bugging her for a date. She always says no. Emily gets a call from the new man in town to come be his nanny. When Emily goes over to Sean’s she sees he is more gorgeous than the gossip says about him. Emily loves Tommy and Sarah. Sean can’t help but want Emily so instead of dealing with it he fires her after two day. Sean finally calls Emily back after seeing Tanner whisper in Emily’s ear. Sean thought she had a boyfriend so he was safe from wanting her. When Emily came back to work for Sean she moved in to be a full time nanny. Sean finds out she doesn’t have a boyfriend. They eventually have a sexual encounter. Sean has been trying to write a book and he gets real grumpy when it’s not going well. He takes it out on Emily. Will Sean get his book written? Will Emily get her child care center? Will Tanner leave Emily alone? Will the man find Sean in Colorado?

A year after his wife dies, Sean flees San Diego with his two kids to avoid giving up his daughter to the biological father. Sadly, he only found out that his wife got pregnant from an affair when she confessed to him after she learned she had terminal cancer. Landing in Telluride, Colorado, he is taken aback by how friendly (and nosy) everybody is in the small town. But he becomes thankful for the care that people volunteer, because it is through his neighbor that he hires the beautiful young Emily as his nanny. She's a virtual godsend, keeping the bright little kids from bickering and crying all day long, cooking, since he is completely incompetent, and generally being perfect. And a perfectly inappropriate temptation. Sean is a flawed man and acts like a complete and total jerk at first, as he tries hard to fight his attraction to Emily. Emily is conflicted, since she admires his looks and the way he loves his kids unreservedly but can't understand why he is so abrupt and standoffish with her, when she's done nothing to warrant such rude behavior. When the two finally cave into their desires, their chemistry is explosive. This engaging story follows how the family learns to cope with their grief, their complete change in circumstances (Sean transforms from a high powered lawyer to a writer), and how to let a new person into their lives and hearts. Sean and his family survive a traumatic event but he has to move on with his life for the sake of his children. He sells his share in the law firm and moves to a little town in Colorado in hopes of starting over and leaving the past in the past. He has become a recluse since his wife's passing, but has to put on a smile for the kids he loves more than anything. But as a stay at home dad, he needs adult interaction and some time alone to work. Being new to town, his neighbor recommends Emily for the nanny position.

Emily has a college degree and the debt to go along with it, but when she returns to her small town she can't get a loan to open up her very own daycare center. So when Sean calls her about a job, she jobs at the opportunity to work with his kids during the summer. She doesn't count on the level of attraction she feels for him almost immediately. Emily loves the kids immediately and they love her, she is truly great with them. But she has yet to win over Sean, he seems distant, moody, broody, can she win him over? Does Sean return her affection?

This book is a well written story of surviving and proof that love conquers all! It goes through tough emotions, a willingness to change, adapt and overcome and a strong family that is just missing a piece to make them feel whole. Sean, Emily and the kids have a great HEA, that melts your heart. The sex scenes are hot and steamy. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Sean thought he had the perfect life and family until his wife lay dying and told him some unsettling truths. However unsettling they were it didn't change how he felt so he packed his children up after his wife died and moved them to a new place for a fresh start. Emily wanted to open her own daycare facility but with the debt she's in no bank will give her a loan to get started. When Sean needs a nanny his neighbor refers him to Emily. When he looks over Emily resume he knows that she perfect there's just one problem he is attracted to her. Can he have her around and not act on his attraction is the question he asks himself. Against his better judgement he hires her. Things go great with her and the kids but its rough for him because he wants her so much. He lets her go before things can heat up between them but when he sees that there isn't anyone better than her he asks her back. Things heat up between them and it seems like things are going great until someone from his wife's past shows up to cause problems. Will this cause him to pull away from Emily? Can he see that Emily is perfect for his family?

This is a great story once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.
