The Last Alphas #3

Thrane's Fated

Rate this book

Sometimes fate has other plans...

The two warring tribes of Thracos have finally reunited, bringing Hill and Valley Wargs together for the first time in generations. As alpha, it’s my job to ensure every tribe member is ready to fight the Terrans who are determined to eradicate us - even if that includes private training sessions with the worst of the bunch!

Peace-loving Arlynn hates violence almost as much as she hates me, but no matter how much I touch her during our lessons, I can’t seem to get her out of my system. All it would take is one mind-blowing encounter to quench my thirst for her luscious curves - not to mention rock her world - but she’s as stubborn as she is beautiful...

Her loss. I’ve got more important things to think about, such as the fact our species is on the brink of extinction!

So why can’t I stop thinking about her?

Natalie and Sienna have found their mates in Markon and Solan, Arlynn is very happy for her two BFF, but she can't help mourning what she believes she will never have thanks to Thrane. When the girls were first taken Thrane was a beast of an alpha and bit her to transform to Wrag, it's been 7 years since that fated day and even though he has mellowed down and is now co-alpha with Markon and Solan, he always manages to get under her skin. But they say hate and love are but a step away from each other. Is it really hate for Thrane that Arlynn feels if so why does her belly tingle whenever he is around, or when he speaks even if it's gruf?

Thrane is positive that the reason he wants Arlynn so bad, is because he could never have her and no female has ever said no to the great Thrane. It takes a great catastrophic revelation for him to realize what's been staring him in the face for 7 years. Also the knowledge that they are stronger than ever together and will put an end to the tribal wars.

The passion that is ignited is overwhelming, but they have 7 years to make up for!

Also the reason for the split between the tribes is finally revealed and will surprise you if you've been reading the series

Brilliant book what an ending to the series of books

Wow what a great ending to the series of books good to see that Arlynn has now her story of escaping the training compound as her and her sisters where being sold as sex slaves taken in by the valley wargs then to be stollen by the hill wargs and bitten without her consent by Thrane who is the alpha of that tribe. Arlynn was rescued but she thought Thrane had spoilt her as she didn’t find her fated mate. Thrane who left his tribe and let his brother step in ended up saving his brother and helped reunite the tribes and became co alpha of the new tribe. He needs to help train the wargs but the women want to be trained he sees Arlynn training or trying to he decides to train her himself but she hates him for what he did but is also drawn to him and him to her they train together but also as part of the bargain of him training her he has to learn to paint this helps with their relationship. Thrane recognises she is his mate after they slept together but Arlynn doesn’t or won’t because of the past. Soon they have to work together more closely to stop the terrans from planning on attack on them. With the tribes are getting the lost ingredient for the fertility problems it has enhanced some abilities of the wargs mostly seers but Arlynn and Thrane are the strongest wargs who can do this but also the only ones who can combine there energy to see what the terrans are planning. This is a must read series of books

I absolutely loved this series! What happens when the baddest of the badasses finds his mate...finally? He falls of course, and boy, does Thrane fall hard! With both Thrane and Arlynn fighting their own beasts instincts, neither of them realized, until it was almost too late, just how much they belonged to each other. But when outside threats are present, and new developments have appeared, the time to join forces has arrived, and with a vengeance.
Full of suspense and action, passion and love, this conclusion of the Last Alphas of Thracos series will fill your heart and warm your soul. Ms. Maddix has a wonderful talent of not only being able to spin a tale, but enabling you to feel like it's your life. Beautifully written and easy to follow, with each book a standalone within the series, it will certainly be one you won't regret reading.
I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily giving my honest opinion.

Still not convinced i liked it

I have to admit that I disliked the h SO MUCH through most of this book, that I'm a little conflicted about his to review it.

She was soooooo deep in denial and hate, she had a nasty attitude with a lot of people. Yeah, I get why she was so moody but damn, it wasn't until maybe the 80% mark that she finally let up. Then there's this serious alpha, who's supposed to be a hardass, suddenly acting all mushy and all "love of my life" extreme kind of stuff.

The one big conflict, and after reading all 3 books you'd expect it to be huge, was pretty anti climatic. Yeah, it resolved all the issues but it left me feeling like - what, that was it ?

If you feel compelled to read this because like me, you've read the first two so you kind of feel obligated to read the third, just know it' OK. It won't give you all the feels. If you haven't read any of them .... That's not necessarily a bad thing LOL

A great ending to a great series. I have enjoyed each story on this planet, but I think this was my favorite. Thrane changed so much through out this book. We so find out who Oohma/Amma is. All of the alphas join together to become one tribe again to fight a common enemy and because the survival of their species is on the line. This book has a few surprises in store for it's readers. I recommend reading this series from the beginning. If you like shifter books with a slight sci-fi twist, this series is for you.

Well worth the read.

The first two books in this trilogy were so great that I couldn't wait to get my hands on this one, the conclusion of the trilogy. It contained a few surprises and I loved them. A great story. I loved this series. An author who writes good interesting story. Well worth the read. But do read all three books in order to get the best enjoyment out of the series.

They discover a secret

The tribe is reunited but Thrane still feels there is a threat. He's drawn towards Arlynn, who is still mad at him for turning her. Something is happening to members of the tribe and its happening to Thrane as well, so after discussion with the other Alpha's and shaman, they go see the old woman. What happens in that meeting changes the course of the tribe forever.

A great ending

Lots of tears in this one. A great series with a HEA. A great take on aliens and shifters genre this takes place on another planet with what we can assume are Earth women found to be imperfect. The Shifters of the planet like them just fine. After some stressful moments and a lot of conflict it all works out and if you have followed the series the last page will have you crying.

This last book in the series was explosive where hate turns into love. Arlynn was bitten by Thrane to become a Warg and that is only one of the reasons she hates him but is attracted to him at the same time. Thrane can't stop thinking about her and it isn't long before he knows she is his fated mate. But there is a lot that they and their newly combined tribe must overcome before they claim each other. This is a fast paced, action packed steamy romance.

🤩 wow

Let me just say this was so good. If you are thinking about reading this book and haven’t read the first two, read those first. Thrane was a knuckle head. But he finally thru Arlynn learned to think about others instead of doing things that felt right to him. In the end everything turn out great. The ending made me cry. I had a feeling about the old lady Ouma aka Amma all along. The two tribes were now one again. Now she could take her rest. Great job Milana Jacks.

Thrane's Fated...

The last book in this fantastic trilogy. There's a mix up in the book title against what was read. Thrane's story is book 3 and it gives you everything. The characters don't recognize each other as mates but it is oh so tingle worthy. This story is filed with drama and at the end heartfelt.

Spectacular ending!

This one was my favorite of the three books and sadly the last one. I wanted to hate Thrane, but Arlynn soothes his soul. This book wraps up a lot of questions and has an amazing ending, which almost made me cry. I also found myself laughing out loud several times.

Fated Mate for the last of the three former Terrans

She hates him with a passion thinking his bite has spoiled her Hope's of ever finding a fated mate. She was going to the bite when she was with the Valley Warg but the alpha of the Hill Warg did it without her consent. He believes he doesnt have the time for a mate or anything else except protecting his tribe.

Awesome

I have read all three books and I loved each of them. It's an ongoing story starting with book one and ending with book three. I hope there are more books planned, but for now my heart soars.

Worth the long wait for book three.

Nothing ever turns out like you expect it with SciFi. An excellent read well worth the wait for book three. Arlynns story is full of her creative and loving heart. Matched against the warmongering Throne, how will their future affect the tribe?

Definitely the best of the series.. The author could have dragged the one for several more books, but I appreciate that she tied it up. I had suspicions about Ouma's origins, and was glad to know I was right. I loved this story, and appreciated seeing more of the orphans.

Liked the ending/epilogue. I anticipated Thrane to be much more dominate and strong...just didn't feel like they were meant to be.

A truly fine read. The love of the men for their women was so strong. Each couple was so well mated and very devoted to one another.

I have to say this was my favorite in this series from Marina Maddix. Thrane was the one I loved to hate in the other two books but there was something about his alpha attitude that made me want to like him. In his story at least he gave me a reason for liking him when he finally lays his claim to Arlynn. Arlynn has hated Thrane since he bit her and changed her into a Warg, thinking he took away her chance at finding her mate. What neither counted on was being the other's mate. Yet when they realize it they go big and find out they are more together than they ever could be apart. And together they have the power to help their fellow Wargs. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
