I loved it. I love Marsha and Rigel together. But it is very short I wanted more of it. It contains spoilers to the first book and so I recommend you to first read the first book in the series..I want Brenda Hiatt to write more of he story through Rigel's point of view..📑📑😊😊
What a wonderful follow-up to “Starstruck!” This is a short story describing Rigel’s move to the small town of jewel and his meeting M — all from Rigel’s perspective. I hope we hear more from Rigel in the future!
This is a short story that explains Rigel’s point of view in regards to book 1 of the Starstruck series. I enjoyed reading the counterpoint to M’s POV. I highly recommend you read Starstruck book 1 first as there are spoilers otherwise.
Disclaimer: I received a copy of this ebook from the author and this is my honest and freely given opinion.
I haven't read Starstruck yet but have a copy of it and will read it asap.
I enjoyed this short story which is obviously connected to the Starstruck book. Rigel and his family move to the small town of Jewel. He doesn't want to move but they have a mission to perform. They have to find the royal princess of Mars and Rigel is the person who can find her.
This is a young adult story but is quite suitable for older readers. I liked the story.
i loved this, i was gutted that it was so short. i absolutely adore Rigel and Marsha. I wish i could read more books about them. i've read all the books in the starstruck series and i was gutted that ended as well. i've not read 'a girl from mars', yet as ive never been a fan of Sean O'Gara as it was his entire fault that he created a fantasy were he and the sovereign would be in love etc etc.
>I am an independent reviewer. This novella is #.5 in the Starstruck series. This novella tells the beginning of Rigel’s story and how he really felt about moving and looking for the princess. I loved Rigel’s POV on his first day of school and why he hung around with Trina at first.
>This book is appropriate for a young adult audience (16+). I am giving this book 5 stars. When Rigel and M touched for the first time was magic.
This is a cute YA read. The story sets up the series wonderfully in this prequel and makes you want to keep reading! The initial story starts off very generically with a football playing kid moving to a new school and getting introduced to all the popular kids. The author did a wonderful job at not making this prequel super angsty when dealing with the highschool experience. I would recommend this prequel to any age reader. Can't wait to continue on with the series
This was a fun read that really hooks the reader into wanting more of the series. I did read this before book one, so spoilers or no I still want to read book 1 and I have a feeling farther. You get a good sense of the authors style and personality.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review
This is a short story. It was so neat to read Rigel’s first reactions to the move to Jewel and then his rapidly changing opinion. I love romances written from the man’s point of view. Especially when I’ve already read it from the woman’s point of view. Only problem is, now I’m left to wonder if it was M’s internet searches or Rigel’s that tipped off the bad guys.
This is a short story centered around one of the main characters from Hiatt's Starbound series. You should read the first book first because there are spoilers in this little gem. It's perfect as it gives Rigel's point of view, something that the reader doesn't get for this part of the story.
This was a nice and pleasant surprise - we see the events before and during the first book from our hero's perspective. And boy, did I love reading and experiencing it through his eyes.
Excellent writing. Fun and exciting story.
Full of secrets, identities, royals, searches, sport and bonds.
Just read for the second time. I'm such a sucker for alternate POV retellings. This is a really great story that fills in some blanks and introduces Rigel really well.
