"Nobody does Western romance better than Bobbi Smith."— RT

U.S. marshal Jared Trent thinks Tessa Sinclair is trouble with a capital T. The owner of the local boarding house sometimes takes in guests who can’t pay and will help any unfortunate soul who crosses her doorstep. Tessa’s compassion gets the better of her and she doesn’t realize the risk she takes—but the lawman does—and he keeps a watchful eye on her to keep her safe. He notices everything about Tessa. And he shows up at the most unexpected times.

THE LAWMAN

Tessa knows Jared means well, but his doggoned butting in curtails her freedom and sorely tests her patience. He is as handsome as he is infuriating. But he has unearthed something deep in Tessa, stirring up feelings she has never let herself feel before. Tessa finds herself daydreaming of him holding her in his arms and maybe the lawman will become her love of her life.

Why this book name is based on Tessa??? I didn't find anything different about her besides she helped everyone in need. Which other characters were also doing. Moreover, like Tessa and Jared characters Julie and Steve story was also described in details with same intimacy. Lots of subplots were given which were not required. The robbery and killing problems were mentioned but it was solved in the ending with fast paced although all the clues were given in the beginning about the gang. I didn't like how the problem was solved.
