Rate this book
Jessica, Mal, and Azrael bask in the intimacy of the bond they’ve created against all odds. As the Shrouded Isle becomes a true home and friends become family, the idea of public commitment seems possible. However, Jessica wants something from Azrael that he may not be able to give. In addition, Azrael’s new generosity with his fellow magicians may have unforeseen consequences.

When a rogue sorcerer attacks, kidnapping Mal and Jessica, Azrael is treated to a dose of his own memory magic. While Lucy and Tod struggle to find Mal and Jessica, Azrael prepares to wreak havoc on his unsuspecting peers. If Mal and Jessica can’t bring him back to himself, the Shattered Sea may have a new Dark Lord.

Not as good as the other books in the series (book 2 was the best) but still an enjoyable read 🤗

This is one of the sweetest erotic fantasy series I have read. It is definitely a favorite.

I ship Mal and Azrael so hard and I kind of just want them in an exclusive relationship, but I'm not sure how that would work. I didn't enjoy reading the details of Mal when he was having sex with other people, (I kind of hope Azrael is the only man he sleeps with now). I still don't mind Jessica as a character or part of the triad but I skimmed her parts. Mal is so possessive with Azrael, which I really enjoyed and I'm excited for him to grow as a character, to become a strong partner for Azrael. They kind of touched on that in this book, but I still found him a bit whinny and weak at times.
The story was lots of fun and took place mostly at Azrael's tower. I wasn't a fan of the forced separation but it did let them grow a bit more as characters. I'm excited to learn more about Azrael's . Azrael is my favourite character and I'm glad he's making some friends. He's so cute and shy but at the same time so powerful. I love when he curls up in Mal's arms,

3.5 stars. I have quite enjoyed these books, they do however still have an air of YA literature (apart from the sex scenes).
Easy enough read, fairly light as nothing too gritty on these books.

Dreaming was another engaging installment of this erotic series. Mal, Jessica and Ren have formed a consensual relationship, but they still have unresolved issues and hidden insecurities holding them back. When Ren acquires a dreaming book, they are all put in danger when he triggers a trap that causes him to forget Mal and Jessica. But the three have friends who will risk everything to help. They are racing the clock, as the Magician's Council is coming to the aisle in only a few days.

Though Tabula Rasa stories are not my favorite, they often facilitate strong character development. That was the case here. Mal and Lucy have a long overdue heart to heart, Jessica must tell Ren what she really needs and Ren meeds to finally drop all defenses to the two people he loves most. There's still a lot of hot sex, but also a lot of emotional catharsis and a very satisfying conclusion.

Poly romance

So, even though this does have MMF, it’s more MM and MF, with a “this is my boyfriend’s boyfriend” type thing, which was a little of a let down for me. Azrael prefers men, and loves Mal, but he loves Jessica because she brought them together, but does not really desire her in THAT way, so if that’s what you’re looking for, you might want to pass. I thought that this series would be more Jessica focused, since she was the character that we follow most closely in the first book, but Mal is really the main character. Everything revolves around him, so the relationships make him the middle M, so to speak. There is some group action, but it’s not expansive or really that satisfying. They are a triad, though, and the plot of the book really is excellent.

This book takes off right from the beginning and we, the reader, are just as confused as everyone else. It takes everyone a while to figure out what has happened, but luckily the trio has friends who love them and are willing to go to great lengths to rescue them.

It is heartbreaking to see Mal, who doesn't know what is happening and thinks that Azrael threw him away. Just heartbreaking.

Anyway, its all a big adventure that has lots of our characters involved in trying to figure out not only what is going on, but how can it be fixed?

Another exciting book. I'm really liking this series.

The best fantasy I have ever read!

I was so engrossed from page 1 of the first book I read all 3 books straight through. Who needs sleep? The author had me in their world. I loved Jessica Mal and Azreal. I was pulled in to this fantastic weave of a magical world with so much love between the 3 of them. I want more! I need another book with the 3 of them and their start of a family. The fantasy the sexy love and the humor between Lucy Mal and Azreal made such a wonderful story I didn’t want to end. Don’t debate buy the 3 books. I wish there was more. I so enjoyed this story so unlike the rest. Please another book with these delightful characters.

This story had more magical elements than the first two books. Lucy, Jessica, and Mal are stolen and trapped in a dream world. Azrael has forgotten who they are Tod helps him reclaim his memories and save them. It adresses that Azrael will never be attracted to Jessica as much or in the same way as he is to Mal since hello Mal is his perfect idea of a sexual partner. But Azrael and Jessica do bond in this book and their sexual bond also grows as they realize their plans of becoming a family of three.

Great sequel - thumbs up.

When there are three main characters and this is the third book you would expect one of them to be in the center. This book is different. Exquisitely different. Without spoilers, there can't be told much about the plot, but it's up to the supporting characters to make the day.

That took me a while to finish. I liked the second book a whole lot more, but this one was good too since it had more magic and conflict with unknown enemy.

Overall, I enjoyed this series quite a lot! I especially liked Mal and Azrael, and especially both of them together. I think I'm going to read book 3.5 which is a side story.

Love love loved the conclusion!

This book made be so very satisfied. I love a happy ending, and a happy ending is just that much better. Azreal’s memory lost is so heartbreaking, but Mal’s distress to the memory lost just wrenched my heart. And, as always, Lauren Harris knocked the reading of this book out of the park.

Epic book! ❤️

OMG I love this book so much!! Azreal and Mal and Jessica are the best! I love them. They're so hot together! 🔥 They're magic is so incredible and it's fascinating. They're all so badass! I love how sweet and intuitive Jessica is, and how she brings people together and helps them all understand each other. I don't want this series to ever end! I love Lucy and Tod. I'm excited about the school and the apprentice. I can't wait to find out what happens next!

Probably my favourite book out of the 3! So much great character development and I loved that we got to see more of the characters personalities on their own. An overall well rounded plot and satisfying resolution ❤️‍🩹

-only con is that I spotted 2 grammar mistakes (i'd say the writing by itself was better in book 1 & 2)

Incubus Dreaming brings a close to the story of Jessica, Mal, and Azreal, while setting the stage for more fun to come. As with the first two books, a fast paced and well driven fantasy meets steamy romance. Another novel you won't be able to put down till it's been read cover to cover.

Definitely not my favorite book of the series. I felt like there was a lot of chaos in this book and I just didn't love it. I feel like the story would have been better served being split between two books.

I don't usually like LGB stories but this was a good one. I didn't know these books were MMF until I got to the end of the first book/beginning of the second. I honestly recommend the series even if one is simply reading for the story.

It seemed like the last book wrapped things up pretty nicely, but book three manages to level up the emotional commitment even more.

Usually, the romantic content in this novel is a novella or extended epilogue, but throw in the kidnapping and it becomes a full book. Don't get me wrong, I did very much like Incubus Dreaming. I am sad to say goodbye to Mal, Jessica and Azrael, I have grown quite fond of them.
