SUMMER SUMMER TIME

Summer love at its best! Alex you said I would love this story and of course I LOVED this story! Getting rid of a trash man to get treated the RIGHT way was everything. Love Guy and Nova! Their summer was a good one!

LOVED!

This one drew me in from the very beginning. Loved Nova and Guy! And how cute was little Jaxson? I'd love to have friends like Kaylin and Lamar. They were fun, funny, and so generous. I was a little worried when Mariah showed up, but I ended up loving her, too. Thank you for not going the usual route and making her a bitter baby mama, but instead a great mother to Jaxson and a good friend to Guy. It was nice seeing a positive co-parenting situation, and how beneficial it is to all parti

Laugh out loud good! I loved that two teachers are, unknowingly, invited to spend the summer in Miami, by their two best friends, at the same time sharing the same condo. Hilarious! Nova and Guy have never met but Nova's best friend is married to Guy's best friend- a NFL player. Add in Nova's sleazy ex-boyfriend and Guy's cutie-pie son and you have an awesome story! However, the repetitive and offensive use of the "n" word became quite annoying.

Fling to Forever!

This was a cute "from fling to forever" story. Guy and Nova had the support of their friends to get it popping all in the name of summer vacay fun! What they didn't expect was to forge a bond that included little Jax, making them an instant family. They had a few bumps, but was able to figure it out in the end.

So dope.

Can I get a Guy for $200, Alex? Such a great, fresh, loving read. Clean & Classy. Nova is every woman. I loved the dynamic of their relationship. This is a must read.

Wow just wow. I saw someone reference they were reading this book a month or so ago. I had space on my KU so based on that person's simple social media comment of how great the book was, I went to snatch the read. Honey let me tell you, I have so much to say about this book. I hate that I have been sleeping on this author all of this time. This book was edited well, enriching, funny, loving, endearing, sexy, and the flow was perfect.
Every last character will forever be embedded into my min

Fun read

I enjoyed Nova and Guy's story. They had a great chemistry. I really liked Guy, who was a good father, a respectful roommate, a thoughtful lover, and still came off as one of the guys rather than a plaster saint. Nova was a bit whiny, but it was reasonable for her to have been stuck with the out of town boyfriend, even if I was not real convinced with their relationship, nor with the bizarre and abrupt way it ended. That said, once he was out of the picture, I loved how Nova and Guy

Love Me Some Jaxson

A child shall lead them. That's a Bible passage that held true in this story. Jaxson was this cute little kid in this story, who won the heart of Ms. Nova. While in the meantime helping his father fall equally as hard. Ms Nova's best friend invited her to spend the summer with her and her husband in California. Her husband invited his best friend and his son to spend the summer as well. Whether planned or not, the Summer adventure turned into a love connection. This was a f

Love Guy and Nova

Nova and Guy are so cute. Jaxson is giving me baby fever... this was a really good read. I love the chemisty between Guy and Nova, Nova and Jaxson.

I chance encounter in one of the hottest cities has Guy and Nova embarking on a usually journey. Sought of,kind of set up by their best friends these two explore a relantionship that is made to last but this was only for the summer right. Nothing wrong with having some fun, but what happens when they have to go their separate wa

Simplicity

This was my first read by this author and although it turned out great it started off a little annoying to me. Probably because I thought that kid was in the way...The kid was so annoying at times...he was a cute kid but I just wanted it to be Nova and Guy’s story even if the kid got in way sometimes. Although I loved the bond that Nova creates instantly with the kid. It was so natural. Still I found myself irritated with the kid much more than I should’ve been. I felt at times he was

Who says you cant fall in love in just a summer. This book was my first read from this author and it was really good. Nova and Guy had some really great friends and Im so happy they found each other. Novas ex was a jerk and definitely up to something on the west coast. A trip to Miami and rooming with Guy was definitely what ahe needed. I love she quickly bonded with Jaxson and how he wanted to do stuff with her and his dad. Guys relationship with his baby mother was so positive and im

Stumbled across this and glad I didn’t pass it up.

So I scrolling on kindle trying to find something new to read and I stumbled across “If only for the summer.” I was immediately attracted to the cover art. It was subtle and sophistacted. During my downtime at work I started it and literally didn’t get any sleep last night because I was so engrossed with the story. I literally smiled the whole book. I’m such a hopeless romantic. Nova reminds me so much of myself and Guy was PERFECT. The Spotify

Awesome Read!

I love the flow of this story from beginning to the end. I love that Guy is an affectionate father who had positive people to give positive opinions from people in his circle that help him to see that there are things worth fighting for. I like Nova's openness about everything that was offered and given to her. She accepted positive situations. It also helps when God and the universe play a major role in the meet cute. Love the storyline and the two main characters especially th

Where Can I Find Me A Guy?

Lord Alexandra is going to have me looking for me a Guy! This was such a good book and I could not put it down once I started. This story was so well written that I felt like I could see it right before my eyes. I loved lil Jaxson! There were so many things to love about this story: the friendship shared amongst the four of them, the non-dramatic baby mama relationship between Guy and Mariah, and the sexual chemistry between Guy and Nova. This book just left me wit

Happy coincidence

The meeting and introduction of Nova, Jaxson, and Guy were a happy coincidence. This book was so good. It had me laughing, and Jaxson was just too cute and too smart. I love the co-parenting situation as it was the best example of how it should be. Nova showed Guy things he realized that he wanted and in return, Guy showed Nova exactly how she should be treated and loved. This was a great story with great characters that I happily recommend.

Take It To The Beach!! Great Summer Read!!

Excellent read. Pack it up along with your beach towel, sun hat and umbrella and head for the beach or poolside. It was light, funny and very entertaining. A must have for educators, especially. I got to briefly meet the author at Indie in the A in June. She is gifted with a pen and a delight to meet. She is quickly becoming a favorite. I can't wait for her next endeavor.

Mercy this was good 😊. Nova and Guy made a very entertaining couple, from the very beginning 🙂. She’s got decisions to make, which are made all the more harder once Guy enters the picture, and I need those kinds of problems 😁😁😁.

And Jaxson, Guy’s son is just adorable 🙂.

It’s an exciting story with plenty of heat and humor, this story is worth all your time, enjoy.

Just Wow

Nothing like a summer read that leaves you with good vibes. Guy and Novas story was so heartfelt taking a summer "fling" to another level. The humor and emotion kept me turning the pages an when Guy let his feelings be known....wow! Most definitely a good read for us romantics.

This is the second book that I read by Alexandra Warren and it did not disappoint. I loved Nova and Guy and I cant forget Jaxson. This story was about meeting the love of your life after experiencing a bad relationship before. After their first interaction sparks flew and the never died. Their summer fling became eternity and Nova received what she wanted, love and family.

Love!

As always, such an amazing book. It was so authentic and genuine. It had a bit of swag, but kept it clean and smooth. I loved their story a lot. They were both different people with different lives. But somehow they fit together. I would most definitely recommend this book.

If only for the summer.

I was prepared to read the usual which is 2 people show up to the same resort and didn't know that the other was supposed to be there. Then, they fall in love and love happily ever. This book was totally the opposite. It was young and upbeat. I love this story and you will too.
