For years, Terri Savelle Foy’s life was average. She had no dreams to pursue. Each passing day was just a repeat of the day before. Finally, with a marriage in trouble and her life falling apart, Terri made a change. This isn't my first book by Terri, and so far I like everything she writes. If you want some easy-to-read motivation interspersed with excellent stories and examples, look no further. You will find yourself making changes in your life, whether big or small. Terri has studied from the masters of leadership, time management, motivation, and goal setting, and she brings it all to bear in each of her books. But she adds her own special stories and experiences, illustrating her points beautifully. You never want to argue with Terri--first, because she's so darn likable (I watch a lot of her You Tube videos) and secondly because her books simply make sense. Highly recommend.

This is the first motivational 'self-help' book about achieving goals and dreams that I have wanted to re-read immediately after finishing. Terri's voice really speaks to me -- simple, clear, and friendly. And she's like that in person too (yes, I may have met her and had my copy autographed)! She articulates the steps and actions that we need to take to achieve our dreams while talking to us with wonderful words of kind encouragement. I never felt like I was being talked down to or that my dreams would be too far out of reach. The scriptures and bible references throughout the book were also very encouraging and fitting. Thank you, Terri! [This book is also part of a kit -- I wish I had bought the kit (with the dream book and audio CDs).]

I always enjoy her books. She gives encouragement through stories and then practical advice. In this book Terri gives motivation but then insists you have to do the work. If you want to improve your Christian life, then read this book.

I loved how easy this book was to read, and how deep the words got into me throughout reading it. Terri Savelle Foy has a good way to be friendly, truthful and inspiring. I will read more of her books in the future. I am glad I read this book because now I have so many of the chapters ingrained in my head, as they have been helpful to me when it comes to having a clearer path and a better direction in life. The chapter on expectation was very useful for me!

If you've seen Terri Savelle Foy's videos, the book is pretty much like those. In fact. many of the same stories and examples used for Youtube are in the book. Regardless of how well you know success principles or the Bible, Imagine Big is a great motivational work and especially good for distracting the mind when you're in a funk. It's very quick and easy to read and after seeing so many of Terri's videos I could clearly imagine her speaking directly to me.

We Need To Live Out Our God-Given Dreams!!!

God has placed dreams inside of us. He wants us to fulfill what He has called us to do. "Imagine Big" shows us that we can embark on a journey of living out our dreams. To live out our dreams, we have to have faith and action. We have to reject the enemy's lies. We have to go where God wants us to go. God wants us to dream big and fulfill our dreams according to His purpose. May we embark on a journey of living out our dreams.

I just attended Terri's Next conference and received some great teachings there. This book focuses on the things we can do to help usher the things we desire into existence. This is a Bible-based book and her teachings are constantly referencing the Word of God. Terri's teachings are solid and she lives what she preaches. I appreciate the teachings in this book, and I'm sure I will refer back to it.

Terri never disappoint me. She not only weaves a great story, but tells you how to use these ideas to become the best version of yourself. I appreciate how scripture is woven into her message reminding us that we can't do this without God, but He needs us to work out faith and not just wait for things to change. This book was sent to me as a goodreads first read. I give this book 2.5 stars. Ms. Foy highlights great step-by-step points to help you determine your dreams/goals and to get you taking specific actions to realize those dreams/goals, relying on faith in God's eagerness to help you. She uses great examples/stories to support each of the steps. I felt like she did repeat phrases and ideas a lot and used too many stories at times to drill in some key points. Overall, I feel Imagine Big is a useful resource for those wanting help and specific steps to get them moving in the right direction towards reaching their dreams/goals.

I read Imagine Big for a Moms Group bible study. It was the first time I have a read a book in this category and I really enjoyed it. It revealed how I could make goals and run with them. I will say, someone who hasn't fully fallen in love with reading YET, it was difficult to read this book. I plan to re-read it soon and possibly my review will change!
