A fun take on this little-known fairy tale. I have not read it in forever, so I am not sure exactly how much is changed, but this is pretty funny! As with the others, critical thinking questions at the end.

Fun, charming little story with sound effects that made my student’s laugh hysterically.

The story was witty and ended in a surprising way. It is a funny read, especially if you make all the weird barn animal sounds. xD

The Fairy Tales with a Twist books are all interesting takes from the other side, for example Cinderella as told by the "Wicked" Step-mother. All of the ones I have read have been good (4 - 4.5 range).
