Part-time student, full-time Soul Reaper, Ichigo is one of the chosen few guardians of the afterlife.

Ichigo Kurosaki never asked for the ability to see ghosts—he was born with the gift. When his family is attacked by a Hollow—a malevolent lost soul—Ichigo becomes a Soul Reaper, dedicating his life to protecting the innocent and helping the tortured spirits themselves find peace. Find out why Tite Kubo’s Bleach has become an international manga smash-hit!

The Quincy invasion of the Soul Society continues, and it seems like there is nothing the Court Guards can do to stop it! Yhwach and his special Stern Ritter troops have bizarre and frightening powers that threaten to defeat even the strongest of the captains. Is this the Soul Reapers’ last stand?

And the battle continues . . .

Stakes are higher than ever.

The battle scenes are magnificent and one of my favourites was Kenpachi's.

The creepiest character I found was the Zombie creator . . . it still gives me the jeebies when I read about their powers. Necro much?

Anyway, still an awesome volume, and slowly creeping towards the end. . . I will give an overall review of the whole series.

Bleach has been around for years and my current read of the latest omnibus had me thinking - the series has gone repetition of one action sequence after another to a point that the whole story is just another ego trip of who's the strongest. Although its still entertaining, the story itself is less than what it was before. Its just nothing much but a read to take off my mind of a stressful day.

The 3 volumes were good overall, but some things were kind of unexciting, I guess.

Zaraki’s fight was exciting and bonkers as it should be.
From the onset, I expected him to win, but there was some novelty to it, since after his “upgrade” it was left to see how powerful he had become.
the protagonist, so of course he’s going to save the day, but by helping a mostly deceased Zaraki is kind of meh.

Uryu’s appearance in this volume is kind of… everyone knows he’s doing things for the greater good and because “bros”, so whatever happens next all will be resolved. A bit of a let down in terms of storytelling…

The Undead 5 & 6 were one of the highlights of the volumes. There’s just something about zombies, particularly when we have the “comrades’ zombie” with Hitsugaya. One small detail: he’s he supposed to have an adult body here? I’m really not sure, as if he does, nothing really changed besides his height?!

Pepe is a gross old man. And it seems we get plenty of those in Bleach.
Also a lot of freaks like Nianzol.
Askin looks like Aizen with thin eyebrows and plump lips, or is it just me.
Truth be told, there are so many characters in Bleach that half of them kind of look the same.

the stakes of this final arc feel nonexistent, and ichigo arrived to save the day and then…immediately heads back to where he just arrived from within a few chapters? yhwach’s enormous array of minions feature a few good designs and fun powers, but they’re mostly forgettable. i loved ichigo and kenpachi’s reunion, and i will never complain about a kurotsuchi fight, but that’s 30 or 40 pages out of 600!

The fans of Zaraki will be pleased a lot (no spoilers).
The fighting sections are like always top tier, Tite is really one of the bests in this!
We started to have a glimpse of squad zero in action, and Ichigo met Uryu. I don’t wanna spoil much but these volumes were really amazing!

4/5: Hugh those enemies were so annoying! like, I'm glad the stakes are high but they are so overconfident and their ego is sky high that I cannot help but root for the shinigami 100%

Volume 22 of Bleach 3-in-1 edition (64, 65, 67). Ichigo, Rukia, Byakuya and Renji have rejoined the fight to save the Soul Society.

This book contains the following fights:

- Gwenael (Q “V” “Vanishing Point”) versus Lieutenant Yachiru Kusajshi and Lieutenant Isane Kotetsu (end of fight)
- Gremmy Thoumeaux (Q “V” “The Visionary”) versus Lieutenant Yachiru Kusajshi and Lieutenant Isane Kotetsu
- Gremmy Thoumeaux (Q “V” “The Visionary”) versus Captain Kenpachi Zaraki
- Candice Catnipp (Q “T” “The Thunderbolt”) versus Kenpachi Zaraki
- Liltotto Lamperd (Q “G” “The Glutton”), Meninas Mcallon (Q “P” “The Power”), and Giselle Gewelle (Q “Z” “The Zombie”) versus squad 11 members
- Quincy Foot Soldiers (Q) versus Lieutenant Marechiyo Omaeda, Lieutenant Momo Hinamori, and Captain Shinji Hirako (V)
- Candice Catnipp (Q “T” “The Thunderbolt”), Liltotto Lamperd (Q “G” “The Glutton”), Meninas Mcallon (Q “P” “The Power”), and Giselle Gewelle (Q “Z” “The Zombie”) versus Ichigo Kurosaki
- Basically all the Quincies versus Lieutenant Rukia Kuchiki, Captain Byakuya Kuchiki, Lieutenant Renji Abarai, Lieutenant Shūhei Hisagi, Ikkaku Madarame, and Yumichika Ayasegawa
- New ones: Pepe Waccabrada (Q “L” Love)
- Squad 0 versus Nianzol
- Giselle Gewelle (Q “Z” “The Zombie”) and her horde of zombies versus Captain Kurotsuchi’s Arrancar
- Nianzol Weizol (Q “W” “The Wind”) versus Squad 0
- Pernida Parnkgjas (Q “C” “The Compulsory”), Askin Nakk Le Vaar (Q “D” “The Death Dealing”), Gerard Valkyrie (Q “ M” “The Miracle”), and Lille Barro (Q “X” “The X-Axis”) versus Squad 0

Note: We find out that Yumichika Ayasegawa is transphobic, which isn’t great. That or he makes fun of someone who cross dresses. I understand this was written quite awhile ago, but still disappointing.

A lot of action and surprising character deaths. The plot has gotten a little lost and the character deaths are not really felt, but overall entertaining at least.
