So this is a little novella with one of my favorite topics……..
SHIFTERS!!!!!!!!!! Yay!!!!! I love shifter stories and this is no different and it's from one of my favorite authors.
Gemma Stone runs a wolf sanctuary in a little Kentucky town. She is a strong woman who goes at it alone with only her volunteer Larry, but it was her grandfather’s dream and now it is hers.
Eric Jackson comes to Gemma impersonating a Fish and Wildlife officer who is investigating her, but what he really is is a Alpha wolf shifter looking for a rogue shifter.
Whoa mama do the sparks fly off of these as soon as they start speaking!! I mean come on, the attraction these guys have is killer!! For a short little novella Gabelman does a great job of showing how fast mates can find each other and she pulls it your heartstrings by showing a awesome bond between Gemma and her wolves at the Sanctuary.
Gabelman has one little problem with this book though, Eric has brothers and I want to know more!!! Lol, she’s going to be busy because I won’t be the only one!!
If you’re looking for a peak into the shifter mind of Teresa Gabelman this is the novella for you.

Teresa Gabelman has smashed it again.
Even with a short story she can pull you in and drown you in her words. Sanctuary is a sure hit.
Gemma owns a wolf sanctuary for stray or injured wolves. She goes about her day taking care of them with the help of an old friend.
Eric a shifter posing as an investigator from a wildlife association is looking for a rogue wolf shifter who caused trouble in his pack.
When these two meet the sparks fly. Instant attraction is not the right words to describe it.

Eric and Gemma get off on the wrong foot.
Gemma runs a wolf sanctuary that she inherited from her grandfather. She has problems with funding, a mean neighbour and a rotten sheriff.
Then along comes Eric the 'Dept of Fish and Wildlife' guy... not.
Actually, they both have secrets. His being the more obvious as you can tell be the cover 'wink'.
He doesn't realize what she is to him immediately and he likes getting her riled up. But the story is short and moves at a good pace, leaving no spare time to get annoyed with him.
The ending was a little overly simplified and convenient, but still a fun read.

God I love this author.
Not many authors can make me cry, I mean full blown tears pouring down my face silent cry. Let alone a super short 91 page story. However Teresa managed that with this book.
Holy shit that Luna scene hit me like a fright train. Talk about an emotional mess.

I cannot contain my love for this.

-feisty badass heroine.
-badass bossy alpha.
-great side characters.
-banter.

Everything I love in books is jam packed into this short story. It was seamlessly written from start to finish. Not once did I feel it was rushed or that I'd missed out on anything and that's crazy considering how short this story is. Of course I'd like more because Teresa writes gold but this story was just perfection.
I loved all the characters, the plot and the pace of the story.
Give me more please!!!!!

Gemma Stone is overwhelmed with debt and exhaustion and seems to have to battle daily with those threatening to shut down the wolf sanctuary started by her grandfather. However, she is determined to do everything she possibly can to help the tired, frightened and injured wolves that find their way to her sanctuary needing care.

Alpha Eric Jackson is on the hunt for the person who raped two women from his pack. He stops at the Stone Wolf Sanctuary hoping to find a lead . . . instead he finds his mate in the feisty Gemma who is willing to take on the world to protect her wolves.

It is now up to Eric to find a way to let Gemma in on his shifter secret, find a way to still be Alpha of his pack that lives hours away, claim his mate and save her beloved wolf sanctuary . . . all while hunting the shifter that hurt his packmates.

I really loved this novella by Teresa Gabelman. Gemma is such a strong character, but just about at her breaking point when Eric shows up. She knows in her heart what the right thing is for her do to and refuses to let anyone stop her from protecting the sanctuary her grandfather created. She is incredible brave and caring, and it was easy to see why Eric’s wolf immediately recognized her as a mate, even though she is human.

While Sanctuary is only 90 pages, it is a very rich and full story. The characters are extremely well developed and there is a great plot twist that helped to knock this book out of the park! The book is fast paced and full of action. There is also a very touching scene that truly caused my tears to flow while reading, so I caution you to have tissues handy!

5 stars for Sanctuary by Teresa Gabelman and the hope that she considers developing this novella into a series as I would live to learn more about Eric’s brothers and the rest of his pack!

If you are a fan of Teresa’s, you will obviously need to buy this one because it’s a new possible series….Teresa???? Thoughts??? Begging??? Ok Pleading!! If you haven’t read her, uhm why? But then this will get you a quick look at her writing and awesomeness. Yes, that is a real word so leave me be.
Ok Gemma is a wear your heart on the sleeve kinda girl. She is going to protect her wolf sanctuary even if the townies and sheriff want her to pack it up and leave. She is following with her passion and protecting her grandfather’s legacy.
Eric is the alpha shifter of a near by pack of wolves. He is looking for a rogue shifter but also looking to see if the legend of a safe place for shifters is true.
When he meets her is stunned that this feisty and sassy human is his mate but also stunned that she cares for these wolves without thinking of her own safety. When Eric joins in the help her during a trying time the sparks fly and the couple end up opening up to what they know and who they are.
I loved the quick book and can’t want for more. I mean Eric’s brothers need a book plus we need to know about the bad guy Eric is tracking!!

Another book I need as a series lol!
Absolutely loved it, Teresa Gabelman sure knows how to write Excellent Paranormal books ( I shouldn't say that because anything she writes is excellent) even though it's a short read, it still packs a punch I sure hope she writes more about these Wolves.

Gemma runs a Wolf Sanctuary, she's a stubborn strong minded woman who tries to do it all on her own with little help.
Eric unbeknown to her in the beginning is a Wolf Shifter, but...... he poses as a Wildlife Inspector.

Bring Eric and Gemma together and watch the fireworks explode.
Oh and yeah by the way I did shed a little tear or two, I love that this author can make me laugh and cry!

Love this author, she NEVER disappoints and I always 1 click her books.

I'm giving 5 stars for this short read because I really loved it.

Absolutely amazing :)

Teresa Gabelman you sure are one amazing writer.
This book was everything I wanted and more, I'm so honored that you used my name for one of your characters and loved Gemma`s strong, independent, take no messing from anyone attitude, in order to protect what she loves dearly. Eric was so hot I was drooling, his protectiveness yet confusion made the story that much sweeter because even though he didn't understand his reaction to the fiery Sanctuary owner, it never stopped him from taking what he wanted and protecting it with his being.
I loved this story and would love if it became a series as all your books are amazing but I'm content to wait and see. Much love for this book, again as always.

I enjoyed Gemma and Eric's story. Emma is a strong woman dealing with a difficult situation and Eric is able to save her when her life is threatened. The author gives us some interesting and entertaining twists and turns along the way to a HEA.

Don’t let this short story fool you it packs a punch. If you are looking for a quick read with a sexy alpha shifter and a sassy lady grab this one.

Gemma runs a wolf sanctuary were wolves come when they have no were else to go. Gemma is a fiery strong willed woman that will let nothing or no one stand in her way of doing what she loves.

Eric is the alpha wolf of his clan and is on a mission to find a wolf that crossed his pack. However, Eric found a little more than he was bargaining for when he found his way to Gemma’s place.

I fell fast and hard for Eric and Gemma. The scene with Luna was heart breaking. I loved the most was Gemma’s determination, fire and fight she may have been scared to death but she never showed it on the outside. With a short story it always leaves you wanting more. I would love to learn more about Eric’s wonderful pack, a little more of Gemma’s past, maybe a little more about Larry too and if they ever find who they were looking for. This is me hoping there is more to this story….maybe a new series?? Please??

To say Alpha wolf shifter Eric Jackson and wolf sanctuary owner Gemma Stone meet mid-fight when Eric jumps in to calm a caged and injured wolf before Gemma’s attacked is putting it mildly. The wildlife investigator warms Gemma in neglected spaces but she knows this sexy bundle of muscle is more than he pretends to be. Eric’s cover is blown!

Battle weary of the daily struggle to keep her family’s legacy intact, not to mention a rich resident stirs trouble to close the sanctuary using the corrupt sheriff to regularly level false accusations and threaten Gemma and her suppliers plus not having time for a personal life, Gemma loses a lot and gains plenty while hanging on by her fingernails.

It’s difficult to say more about this mini-read without sharing all the goodies. However, this reader would’ve appreciated a half dozen or so additional pages for a courtship, discovery and the villain to erase the rushed feeling of the read. On the other hand, tender hearted readers will have a chance to shed big, fat tears.

Love an Alpha!!

Fantastic short story. Teresa packs a whole lot into this one.
I love a good Alpha Wolf read.
This story has exactly what I've come to expect from Teresa it's hot as hell it had me laughing and swooning too.
Gemma runs a sanctuary looking after sick and injured wolves, she loves her job.
Eric is a shifter he's undercover looking for someone and he ends up at the sanctuary.
Setting eyes on the feisty woman who runs it, he knows things will never be the same again for either of them.

Enjoyable But Violent
I really enjoyed this novella, although I wasn't prepared for some of the violent situations. Gemma had a unique job and calling, which Eric fully supported, allowing for an unexpected solution for them in the end. I only found two obvious errors in grammar which was a welcome relief from the book I reviewed just prior to this one.

I will be looking forward to reading other stories by the author.

I wish I would've liked this one more than I did.
I guess I'm just used to Teresa's fuller stories that any time we get these short stories or novellas, I feel cheated.

There's something about the characters and their relationship that just feels so mechanical. There's no real build up between feelings with them, they just kind of go at it after only knowing each other for a couple hours.

I just wish these were a bit more "meaty" and had more sustenance to build up a world that the author seems to be writing more than one or two books in.

Passion, devotion and hot shifters

This was a captivating read. I loved the idea of a wolf sanctuary and the fact that it was a safe Haven for the unwanted made it even better. Gemma is a lovely character, so devoted to her wolves that she takes nothing and expects nothing for herself. Eric is a typical protective alpha male who didn't stand a chance against Gemma and the pull he felt towards her

Book 1 has set the foundations for a great series and I thoroughly look forward to reading book 2.

This may be a short book but it is perfect when you want to escape reality.

This story focuses on Gemma who runs a wolf sanctuary and a sexy alpha who knows what he wants

Gemma is my kind of female lead, strong and speaks her mind while looking after those she loves. Eric as Alpha is on the hunt when he meets Gemma and the story takes off. Creative writing and likeable characters makes this a winner for me.

I picked up this novella because it is on kindle unlimited and this author is attending Penned Con 2017 so I wanted to check her out. I enjoyed the H/h and the story, I'm actually interested to see if she writes something with Alex. If your looking for a quick shifter read I would suggest to give this one a try.

Wolves of both types (Shifter and wild) and wolf-dog hybrids take center stage in this novel by Teresa Gableman. A woman who has devoted her whole life to running a sanctuary for lost and injured wolves crosses the path of a powerful alpha searching for the Shifter who raped two pack members. The pull is immediate when he realizes that she is his fated mate and she feels it, too. Together, they combat their enemy and set off the build a pack that is stronger than before. Very enjoyable.

Fabulous and Heartfelt

Teresa Gabelman has an amazingly romantic and emotional story with the first book in her Stone Wolf Sanctuary series. I cried. I mean I absolutely broke down sobbing. Not through the whole book, because it was an amazing read. But there was one scene so emotional that I just lost it.

You will understand when you meet Gemma and Eric.

Now I will grab all of the other books she has written, because this one truly made my heart howl!

Good beginning

I like Larry. Gamma is harassed, short on help and funds. The local police work for the rich ranch owner in town. Gemma Stone owns and runs a wolf sanctuary. She is aware that tired and wounded shifters sometimes takes shelter with her natural wolves. Eric stops by the sanctuary on a mission. He meets Gemma and mates her. An evil wolf causes trouble. Great beginning!

Very sweet but exciting book!

This book is a really great read. I love how it touches on animal conservation. Especially wolf conservation. That is something that we all need to focus more on. I really enjoyed this read and would really suggest it, especially if you like shifter books. It's a easy and quick read but still has some action in it. I haven't read a bad novel from this author yet. Great job!!
