When things go wrong with friends, people can get mixed up when they get mixed
up in the wrong crowd. When it happens their true friends hurt inside, and tend
to make a big mess when they say things they don't mean out of anger and hurt.
The Gang learn a very hard lesson, that prayer and talking things over can bring
about changes a lot faster than anger and fists of fury. Another life lessons
learned by the school of hard knocks.

Reading this w/ my 7 year old and loving this book. We've read many of the Sugar Creek Gang books but this one has good suspense. It also shares great insight into dying to oneself and then being alive in God. We're only half way thru and I'm giving this a 5-star.
