One of the best self-help books I've ever read: (a) useful questionnaire at the front of the book that allows you to prioritise which sections of the book you want to focus on (b) excellently compiled chapters which supports its central premise and framework that you have to define what success means to you and then be very deliberate in crafting goals and actions to get you there. Loved the Deliberate Framework broken down into 10 elements that spells the word - (i) Decide what matters to you (ii) Eliminate (iii) Language - how your internal voice creates you (iv) Information (v) Beliefs (vi) Energy (vii) Responsibility (viii) Action (ix) Time management (x) Evaluate.

The individual chapters are highly readable with great excerpts from other books plus the author included a good reading list if you want to dive further into each of the 10 topics.

A wonderfully "packaged" book!

Traditionally skeptical of self-help coaching , I found this book quite insightfully helpful. It pushes for a lot of self-reflection that I had simply not indulged in. Lots of practical and positive advice.

The examples are perhaps a little dated or out of touch now. With references to Donald Trump as a successful businessman and an apparent misunderstanding of the cruelty involved in elephant training, the author does not always demonstrate an all-encompassing awareness of the world beyond. Yet the messages and values it expounds can be beneficial to all. Very glad the book was given to me.

I usually hate this sort of thing, but David has a no-bullshit style that really engages the audience and all his advice is really practical.

It's not a bunch of 'find your inner butterfly' nonsense but a concise and well researched series of 'here's what I found after researching a bunch of successful people who achieved a lot in their lives and some techniques that seemed to work for them you might consider trying'.

Sometimes just by looking at something you change it - and by making a few little changes in your approach to planning, prioritizing and setting achievable goals you can ultimately be more satisfied with what you achieve on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.

Some really good tips and I feel I have become more productive by implementing some of the techniques in both work and personal life.

- This book is a decent read...It has some useful tools such as the questionnaire at the beginning of the book that helps you to determine your values to write your Unique Life Purpose (ULP).
Also, I really liked the time management quadrant (i.e. Not everything Urgent is IMPORTANT.)
- It starts to drag a bit in the last quarter, but I really enjoyed the quotes throughout. Could've used more concrete examples from real-life successful people and their habits.
- Nothing earth-shattering here, but not bad overall.

This book is a gift for people to hold on to and continuously return to throughout life. It contains so many practical pieces of advice, tips and quotes that my book is filled with underlines and highlights. The book can be read in sections, can be put down and picked back up when it is needed and can be consistently referenced. Thank you, David Keane, for writing this book.
