Says published in 2018, but packages used are outdated. The current version of the Electron is 5 but in the book, we are using version 1.x.x in code examples. That aside, it is a solid introduction to Electron, I've hoped for a bit more advanced dive but still satisfied with what I've read.

I really liked the pace and the practical approach if the author.

The examples are solid, not too complex but not trivial neither.

If you don't know anything about Electron this is the right book to start with.

Very clear, concise and beginning coverage of start to finish in development of an Election application.

The author is exceptional in taking the "long" way to introduce concepts to accomplish your development. Then expanding on discussion of other packages that can streamline your development. It is superb in old style education; learn the basics; get them down; then get the tools that make life easier.
